3 X-Class and 5 M-Class Solar Flares
SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 01/04/2025 UPDATED
THE SUN IS FLARING AGAIN: Sunspot AR3947 is sizzling with activity. Since yesterday it has produced three X-class solar flares and multiple strong M-flares. NOAA’s GOES-16 satellite recorded the extreme ultraviolet and X-ray flashes:
Each flare has produced a shortwave radio blackout on Earth. Almost all longitudes of our planet have experienced intermittent loss of signal below 20 MHz during local daylight hours. Long-distance propagation has been very unreliable.
Remarkably, no significant CMEs have emerged. For some reason, these explosions have not lifted much material out of the sun’s atmosphere. Future blasts may behave differently, however, and the activity shows no sign of abating as the sunspot turns toward Earth. Stay tuned!

NOTE: The Sun in Perihelion reached its closest position to Earth in 2025 at 7:38 p.m. ET on Jan. 2 (0038 GMT on Jan. 3).) The Sun is in its Maximum with more Earth-facing Sunspots than we’ve seen so far in this 11-year cycle, along with some substantial coronal holes in the “danger zone.” Activity on the right side of the Sun is positioned to catch the current of the Sun’s rotation (ie. the Parker Effect) that aims Solar Winds directly to Earth.
Mayan Time
The Monkey/CHUEN trecena is a cycle of the Light of incoming Divine Inspiration for the Creation of a New World. 7 Earth/CABAN is the Light of Earth in its peak position. The 7th Tone represents the peak day of the cycle to see “all that is” and “all that is not” an accurate reflection of who we are. CABAN is the Day of “pure Spirit” the Truth of who we are. Earth/CABAN sends a Clarion Call to live with all our Heart; the Cherokee name is the Heron, a symbol of the Phoenix that rises from the ashes of the past. The 7the Tone in the 7th uinal is the symbol of our Power to Create who we are as we were seen through the eyes of the Creator. Tomorrow, 8 Flint/ETZNAB is scheduled to reveal an Unexpected Truth from Above that was hidden or covered up. Saturn will be hidden behind the Moon. Saturn is the “taskmaster.” An Unexpected Truth compels us to take action. On the 8th Tone we are moved by a Hand of Divine Agency.

TRECENA OF MONKEY/CHUEN: THE DAWN OF CREATION
My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.
Tracking your thoughts during one 13-day trecena, you will see the synchronicity of Time, and an ascension as the answer to a prayer you hold as an Intention of thought from the beginning.
The Monkey/CHUEN trecena is the beginning of Season 3, found in Volume 2.
NOTE: If you see repeating numbers, SacredScribes is a resource to check the meaning of Angel Numbers.
CORE DAYS: The 7th Uinal of the Tzolk’in represent the center column of 20-days, which carry the Intention of Balancing. In the Center we are returned to Unity with the whole as our sense of duality comes into balance. The Maya believed this to be the axis mundi – the center of the world that connects Heaven and Earth, where the four directions meet; where communication from lower realms may ascend to higher ones and blessings from higher realms may descend to lower ones and be disseminated to all. The Core Days may be experienced as a time of personal mystery as we recreate ourselves in the image of the Highest One.
7 Earth/CABAN (Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI) – Day 7 of 13, the 1 Monkey/CHUEN trecena
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.
Earth/Caban: Earth/Caban: Keeper of the garden of Earth. Profound synchronistic connections to Earth’s natural cycles and energies provide power of creations and memories of ancient wisdom. Earth persons help dispel bad intentions, habits and ideas. This makes them very good counselors and masters of all arts. Studious and intelligent, Earth persons endeavor to bring a flow of natural order to all aspects of life. Being connected to the dynamic forces of nature, Earth persons need much liberty to facilitate their expression of migration or the sending of long distance communications such as the whales, elephants, birds and many other creatures. Sometimes Earth’s delicate sensitivities are upset resulting in quakes of emotion even the display of volcanic temper.
A GOOD DAY TO: Give thanks to Mother Earth for all her gifts.
Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI: Sign of movement and perpetual motion, Heron is symbolized by Deneb, located in the Northern Cross beside the Milky Way. “The Northern Cross is the Tree of Life, Beside the Milky Way River & Perched atop is Guwi’ sguwi, the Cherokee Heron Spirit Bird, comparable to the Phoenix that rises from the ashes of the past.
