6 Reed/BEN (Cherokee, Reed I’hya), Destiny Kin 253,  Position 13

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Reed/BEN is the Guiding Light for “Home,” the place where we belong. God’s Light is always shining for us in a Sanctuary within.

Matthew 7:7
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.”

6 Reed/BEN holds Position 13 in the 13th uinal of our Ascension to Holy Ground. 13 is the symbol of Ascension and the Power of theurgy – Human’s power to Call upon the Creator to intervene in Human affairs through the rituals and sacred ceremonies of our prayers. Symbols are magnified by every repetition. 6 is the symbol of Divine Trinity times 2, representing the Power of 2 who agree as One. 13:13 repeats the symbol of Answered Prayers.

Matthew 18:20
20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”

 

Tone 6 manifests Momentum from a rhythm and pattern of movement. Turning back to our Faith forged a new path. On the 2nd Day of trinity (6) we are given the Light to See Again that God never fails to Love us and that His Highest Hope is to gather all our Souls to heaven.

The glyph illustrates an altar with 2 channels of Light shining down from Above. Below are the thatched prayer matts for 2 to kneel as One. The cross-hatch element represents Human’s veil, that requires Faith in the Truth we will never see clearly in the realm of physicality. Reed represents the “hollow bone” – the strength to stand when all the flesh is burned away.

Reed’s aspect of Fire represents a burning within to Know that God will Answer our Prayers. Reed represents the “boss of the family” who’s inclined to tell everyone what to do, with good (but blind) intentions to share the wisdom of their experience. The One Truth we have worth sharing with a New Generation is our Faith in Answered Prayers.

Reed’s Guiding Light is to share that everyone can find their way, Asking, Seeking, and Acknowledging the Only One who needs to know who we are, and all the troubles we’ve seen. After we’re reborn, we will grow up again. We can wait on God’s Time.

The altar within is a private confessional, sharing our Heart with God Alone, Love overflows from Above when we See and Acknowledge the Lord of all Creation. He wants to know who we are. He only knows what we’re willing to share. Darkness is dispelled when the Truth is brought to Light. God knows everything. We don’t have a choice, if we want to realize our Highest Hopes.

The Test of Faith is, believing in our Prayers. We can’t convince someone else unless we hold Faith in our own. As long as we pray for God’s Will for everyone the same, what we Asked to Know and Sought to Find will be Opened to us. And when the Truth is revealed, we’ll know it could only be a Miracle.

Wednesday of the Second Week of Easter

April 30, 2025 – Lectionary 269
Reading 1 from Acts 5:17-26

The high priest rose up and all his companions,
that is, the party of the Sadducees,
and, filled with jealousy,
laid hands upon the Apostles and put them in the public jail.
But during the night, the angel of the Lord opened the doors of the prison,
led them out, and said,
“Go and take your place in the temple area,
and tell the people everything about this life.”
When they heard this,
they went to the temple early in the morning and taught.
When the high priest and his companions arrived,
they convened the Sanhedrin,
the full senate of the children of Israel,
and sent to the jail to have them brought in.
But the court officers who went did not find them in the prison,
so they came back and reported,
“We found the jail securely locked
and the guards stationed outside the doors,
but when we opened them, we found no one inside.”
When the captain of the temple guard and the chief priests heard this report,
they were at a loss about them,
as to what this would come to.
Then someone came in and reported to them,
“The men whom you put in prison are in the temple area
and are teaching the people.”
Then the captain and the court officers went and brought them,
but without force,
because they were afraid of being stoned by the people.

When God sends us on a Divine Mission, God creates the way. The Power of Creation lies in aligning with God’s Missions offered to us as the Light of Divine Inspiration. The Fire of the Holy Spirit can set us on a Divine Mission to create the Life of God’s Dreams.

Mark 9:23-24
23 Jesus said to him, “If  you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
24 Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

Life is beautiful when we are worthy to be loved as we are.

God so loved the world that he gave his only-begotten Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might have eternal life.

Reed/BEN is observed by the Maya as a Day to check in on someone “like family.” A door will always be open to us when we claim our neighbor as our kin.

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Reed/BEN: Reed persons are the spiritual essence, protectors and guiding light for family and home. They are competent speakers who will take up a cause. Very tough and analytical, Reeds endeaver to bring peace, harmony, and order to all of their relations. Reeds are blessed with great skill at negotiations and consoling which are very often put to the test. Although Reeds need a log of appreciation, many have a marriage or business problems because of inflexible views and high expectations, which erode affinity. The lesson of Reed is to be like a garden hose, not a steel pipe.

Cherokee, Reed/I’HYA: Symbol-Reed is the Earth, reflection of the Star Chaga of Pollux. Reed made up the Magician Twins who led the journey to bring back to life the daughter of the Sun. The Casket is Gemini.  Energy for Intellectual minds, creation, re-creation, new directions, breaking the ties that bind.  A trailblazer and leader. From the East, direction of success and happiness, no matter what route is taken, always ending up in the Light.
