MARS AND VENUS ARE CONVERGING NEAR THE SUN: Are you looking for Mars or Venus? Don’t! You will hurt your eyes. The two planets are very close to the sun, converging for a rare double solar conjunction. This coronagraph image from SOHO shows the two worlds on Dec. 17th with Mars in front of star cluster NGC 6530 at the same time.

NOTE: Image shows CME on the farside from what appears to be a new Sunspot, 2-3 days from emerging into Earth’s view. The Sunspot that produced the smaller eruption should emerge Dec 18, 2025.

Mars and Venus are moving in opposite directions, swapping places in the heavens. On Jan. 6th (17:00 UTC), Venus will pass behind the sun moving right to left. On Jan. 9th (09:59 UT), Mars will pass behind the sun moving left to right. Weeks after they cross paths, Mars will become a naked-eye morning planet, while Venus becomes the brilliant “Evening Star.”

When a planet passes behind the sun, astronomers call it a “superior solar conjunction.” Mars and Venus are about to have consecutive solar conjunctions less than 3 days apart, making this a true Mars-Venus-sun alignment to kick off the New Year.

3I/ATLAS TO TURN HOME AFTER DECEMBER 19, 2025

3I/ATLAS CLOSEST APPROACH TO EARTH: Interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS makes its closest approach to Earth on Dec. 19th, passing 270 million kilometers away. That’s not very close. Nevertheless, experienced amateur astronomers will be able to take beautiful pictures of the 11th-magnitude comet as it passes our planet and heads back out of the Solar System. Look for it in the constellation Leo and submit your images here.

SIGNS AND SYNCHRONICITY OF TIME

Venus and Mars are facing off in close proximity to the Sun. The Earth will be facing off in its closest proximity to both the Sun and the Moon at Earth’s Perihelion.

SUPERMOON AT EARTH’S PERIHELION

The next Full Moon falls on January 3, 2026, the day of Earth’s Perihelion. The Full Wolf Moon is a Supermoon (perigee). The Moon will be in its closest position to Earth, as Earth reaches its closest position to the Sun. Supermoons are up to 14% larger, and up to 30% brighter. This one should be shining its brightest in closest proximity to the Sun.

Together they will raise the King Tides for a major turning of the tides. The Green Beings respond to planetary transits across the Sun. Life on Earth will take notice of the gravity from opposing sides. The Full Wolf Moon Supermoon is named for the month of howling for mates and gathering the pack, in the Sign of Cancer (Family/Home).

The New Moon December 20, 2025 will be in apogee, a micro-moon in Sagittarius. There will be less gravity to pull us off-course. This New Moon is Time to Dream Big and take a Big Leap of Faith into the Adventure of Life. Our Faith will be restored in our darkest days.

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.

Seed/KAN:Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net.
