A Divine Mission: The Vigilance of a Divine Witness (1 Deer/MANIK)

Opening the Window to our Soul

Matthew 6:22–23 (NIV)
“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.”

Eyes were created to take in the Light. Our eyes hold the Power to express our feelings and emotions. Our eyes are opened by the Light of the Sunrise. Eyes are a primary focus. When we lose sight, our other senses expand to serve the purpose as a sense of “spatial consciousness.” The Eye of the whale is what engages us with the “humanity” of a living creation far beyond the realm of human’s everyday experience.

The “evil eye” refers to the “dead eyes” of a zombie that only sees the source of their next meal. The eyes convey the Truth of our authenticity. We can see Love through the eyes.

The Apostles were drawn to follow the Compassionate Love that shone from the eyes of Jesus. Written in the Seed, our Heart’s Desire is the Light of Love shining from the eyes that wholly see us as we are. Words can’t express what is experienced when we’re Seen Through the Eyes of Love. That’s the Love we’ll climb a mountain to know.

February 18, 2026 is Ash Wednesday. The Season of Lent begins with the ashes of our sins that the Fire burned away. We stepped through a Ring of Fire to take up our Staff and Follow. God ordered the Time for us to See Clearly. Deer/MANIK begins a journey to See through the “Eyes of our Heart”.

1 Deer/MANIK (Hand)

Greetings Beloved Kin,

There are Times dedicated to a Sacred Purpose. The Sun and the Moon are the brightest Signs of the Time. By Earth’s calendar we all receive our equal share of the Sun’s Light every Day. Our only difference of Time and Place is that the equal measure of the dose from different angles. We all see the same thing from different angles.

The 7 planets will see the Sun from the nearest angles on February 28, 2026. We completed the 1st 20-days of Unity. In the Month of 2 we experienced the sense of separation as a 2nd thing. March will be the month of 3, that comes in like a Lion – a Sign we can all see at the same time from a single balanced perspective.

The Vision Quest led us to the Ascension of 13 CIMI, the Ascension of the Holy Spirit. The Moon united with the Sun on that very Day. Yesterday, millions made their plans for today… and the next mountain they would climb.

The glyph illustrates a Hand that grasps the Truth of the Light as a thread of ether, that connects a circuit of Supernatural Faith. The Circle represents the Vigilant Eye of the Deer, the Shepherd that leads the flock and symbol of the Savior.

The Beauty of Time is the Order. The Author of Creation is the witness from all angles. The Eye of God is opened in our Heart when the Holy Spirit Dwells Within. We Ascended through Death to the world. We’ll rise from the Ashes.

We Know love can be seen in the eyes. What we don’t wholly comprehend is the Power of Love that emanates from the Center of our Being. The “wallflower” is one who cowers near the corner at the high school dance. Our whole body is a living language. We can realize the Truth through this Season of Lent.

“Pope Leo XIV” is a Sign and symbol of the Sun. XIV (14) is a symbol of the One in the Higher Place, and the Stability of the 4 Corners of Earth. 4 is 1 less than the 5 we need to grasp the 15 (3 x 5) Holy Empowerment. Pope Leo XIV will Ascend to Pope Leo XV as the next in line who takes the Name. We can expand our vision through the motion of Time. When you witness what comes “after” with the 20/20 vision to see “before” – the next time, you’ll see “before and after” all at once.

Pope Leo’s Divine Order for Lent is to Listen, Fast our Words, and Offer our prayers on behalf of the whole… and do it together as One. It’s the perfect order to follow the Vision Quest “to save the Day.”

1 Deer/MANIK is the First Master Teacher as the Living Word of God. He was the embodiment of the Truth and the Way of a Being of Divinity. We’ve already seen the “after” a Vision Quest the Signs of Beginnings and Celebrations of Life in Abundance… as we approach a Season of Resurrection.

THE GUARDIAN OF THE TRECENA
The Guardian is the meaning of the end Intended from the Beginning. 13 Storm/CAUAC is the Lightning energy of the Creator’s Love that grasps our Heart and never lets go.

HOLY OBSERVANCES

4 Dog/OC is the Global Burner Day at the center of the 1st Season. Global Burners mark a release of residual energy. Days before, may trigger overthinking. By repetition, we can clearly see One Truth that prevails. The Mayan priest carries out the Sacred Fire Ceremony. The Intention is to Restore Right Relationship in the Community. We can light a candle to be One of our Whole Light in Divine Trinity.

We have nothing to fear. No harm can come to us when our Hand is Dedicated in Service to the Lord of all Creation. And, we Shall Know the effects after 40-days of remembering one another.

Isaiah 6:8 KJV
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,
“Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?”
Then said I, “Here am I; send me.”

John 14:20 KJV
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

THE EIGHT WATCHES

The next time you’re Called to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. “Behold, he that keepeth our Soul shall neither slumber nor sleep.” You may find the reason you were praying by the watch of the Day.

THE EIGHT WATCHES

Night Watch

  • First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
  • Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
  • Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
  • Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word

Day Watch

  • Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
  • Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer
  • Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
  • Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.

The Christian Calendar Online offers the Meaning of Time through the Word with Prayers for the Day. Through a comparison you can see a synchronicity of Time and a Divine Order for thoughts.

February 18, 2026, Ash Wednesday, Lectionary: 219

Reading 1, Joel 2:12-18

Even now, says the LORD,
return to me with your whole heart,
with fasting, and weeping, and mourning;
Rend your hearts, not your garments,
and return to the LORD, your God.
For gracious and merciful is he,
slow to anger, rich in kindness,
and relenting in punishment.
Perhaps he will again relent
and leave behind him a blessing,
Offerings and libations
for the LORD, your God.

Blow the trumpet in Zion!
proclaim a fast,
call an assembly;
Gather the people,
notify the congregation;
Assemble the elders,
gather the children
and the infants at the breast;
Let the bridegroom quit his room
and the bride her chamber.
Between the porch and the altar
let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep,
And say, “Spare, O LORD, your people,
and make not your heritage a reproach,
with the nations ruling over them!
Why should they say among the peoples,
‘Where is their God?'”

Then the LORD was stirred to concern for his land
and took pity on his people.

(The End from the Beginning.)

“Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment”
by Debra Malmos, 9 Eagle/MEN

It only takes 13 days to see how Faith is always raised to Knowing the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts. Record the matters on your mind in a journal to see how your perspective is changed by a Divine Order of Thoughts.

1 Deer/MANIK is the 3nd trecena found in “Tzolk’in Field Guide: Volume 1, Seasons 1 and 2”

When you feel lost, go back to Day One. Tone 1 of each trecena is the Light of God’s Divine Inspiration for 13 Days.

1 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)  – Day 1 of 13 of the 1 Deer/MANIK trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in FREE CALCULATOR on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 1: Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

A GOOD DAY TO: Be of Service to others.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer:  A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician.  Ability to create harmonic resonance. (One Song, One Chord)
