A Manifestation of the Truth and the Way
The Elders say, “It’s never about what you can do. But, will you remember?” The only way to remember God is the Answer is by following a dedicated path to an altar every Day. By Mayan Time, the Deer represents the Destiny of the priest, a servant who counts the days, carries out the prayers, and carries out the ceremonies of the Holy Days on behalf of the whole.
Genesis 1:26-28 KJV
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
The Meaning of our Life is to Love God, and to Love One Another in Harmony and Equity. Through the Holy Spirit we are Consecrated for our Life’s Purpose. On behalf of the whole, we can conquer every challenge in the Sanctuary Within. The war is already won. The faithful won’t have any fear. Every Day we can remember.

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Deer/MANIK is also known as Hand. MANIK is God’s Hand in the world. The glyph illustrates the Hand grasping a thread of plasma that welds the circuit of Divine Power. With God in us, we shine like the Sun, sending out countless particles of Light.
The Deer is a symbol of Stability with one foot to plant in each of the 4 directions, and another when it takes up the Staff to Follow. Tone 10 is the symbol of Manifestation. Creation isn’t finished by a Human Hand, but is completed by God’s Hand.
If we stand in Integrity and Humility without personal defense, the Truth speaks for itself. Not by our Will but by God’s Will it shall be done. Manifestation changes our reality when we claim a Higher Truth. We only had to begin and move forward. We don’t have to pretend or imagine our higher end. We Real-ize we’re there.
10 is God’s Number and the sum of Hand Above and a Hand Below. When we are wholly invested in God’s plan, we manifest the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Deer expresses its Faith by standing silently in the Truth. The circle on the glyph is the vigilant eye of the Deer that uses its landscape vision to see trouble coming from so far away, it has plenty of time to leap to higher ground.
We were born to help one another to make our way through the world to the “other side” of life. We were born to look and act like the Father. We can’t, but the Holy Spirit can. If we’re willing, we’ll obey by a Power Greater than we are. It takes Time and Failures to learn.
Blue is a symbol of the Living Water, used by the priest for baptisms, consecrations, purification, initiations and blessings. Water flows through the Heart to connect our Heart, Mind, Body and Soul.
Matthew 7:7-8 KJV
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
Our path is Consecrated and Blessed when we serve a Divine Cause. “God’s Will, not mine, be done.”
love, in lak’ech, i am another you
Debra
PRAYERS FROM THE THIRD WATCH – SPIRITUAL WARFARE
The next time you’re drawn to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day, AFTER. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. You may find synchronicity in the Time when you look, after your prayers.
THE EIGHT WATCHES
Night Watch
- First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
- Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
- Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
- Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word
Day Watch
- Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
- Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer (on behalf of the whole)
- Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
- Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.
THE TRECENA OF FLINT/ETZNAB: TRUTH THAT SETS US FREE

The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.
It only takes 13 days to see how a Divine Intention set at the beginning, always end with the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts to stay on course. Often the matters on your mind follow the divine order of Time as the meaning of every Day.
Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th seasons to the end of the Tzolk’in round.
1 Flint/ETZNAB is the 4nd trecena of the 2nd season of the Tzolk’in round, found at the end of Volume 1. The meaning of time is revealed by the thoughts on your mind.
NOTE: Tone 1 reflects the 1st Light of Divine Inspiration for this chapter of Time. If you forget where you are, return to Tone 1 to see the “First Light” of Divine Inspiration.

CORE DAYS
The 7th uinal represents the “Core Days” of Creation. In the Chrysalis of the “galactic butterfly” we become co-creators with the Lord. The Core Days are a time of personal mystery and a transformation on the scale of a caterpillar that is reborn with Wings. 1 Flint/ETZNAB is the Light of the Beginning.
10 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi) – Day 10 of 13 in the trecena of 1 Flint/ETZNAB
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), who’s wisdom and Tzolk’in date calculator is preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
A GOOD DAY TO: Be of Service to others.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
