Psalm 18:33 NIV
33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.
The Deer is a symbol of grace and heightened intuition. The Deer is equipped with landscape vision. It’s ears act independently to pinpoint the location of the first sound of movement. The Deer is sure-footed on rocky ground and holds the peace of knowing that it can leap to higher ground at the first sign of danger.
The danger imposed by the evil one is an attack on the mind. At the first sign of doubts and fears we can turn our thoughts to the Truth of God’s provision offered to every living thing. The higher we climb the more we need to depend on the Lord’s divine provision for our life.

Greetings Beloved Kin,
The Deer relates to the Gift of Spiritual Tools offered by our Creator to stand in the Truth of God’s Divine Provision for our life. The shepherd’s Staff is used to guide and direct the sheep, a Truth to lean on for protection in the darkness of night. MANIK teaches us to react to threats calmly. Simply turn to the Lord and he will restore our Peace of Mind.
Psalm 23:4 KJV
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
The Rod is a shorter, club-like tool used to fight off wild animals and count the sheep. The staff is a long stick with a curved hook used to gently guide, direct, and pull wandering sheep back to safety.
The Savior is the shepherd that fights our battles and is willing to give his life to save us. The antlers are the divine antennae that sense approaching danger from far away.
Tone 5 holds the Intention of Empowerment. We are guided by a Hand (5) above. We have nothing to fear. Even if we wander, the shepherd will track us down and bring us back into the fold.
UXMAL: The Highest Climb to Holy Ground
We can’t lose our Salvation. Even when we’re saved it takes time for the Holy Spirit to complete the Faith of Heart and Mind. We’re not lost when we stumble. The Holy Spirit continues to opens our Heart to the Truth. The Lord and Savior are gentle and kind. When our Heart is open we can receive divine correction without fear of losing the Father’s Love. As our Heart is filled with Love for the Creator, we’ll be glad for every Word of correction from the One who’s Intention is to save our life.
We are climbing to be joined with the Heart of Sky. In every Divine Cause we can stand firm in knowing a Divine Father will fight our spiritual battles and the Compassionate Love of the Savior will lead the Way.
In the 5th hour of the Day, we gather the tools required for “the work” before we begin. The Lord’s higher Intention is for us to know “we can” before we begin “the work” of the Creation. The higher we climb the more invested we are and the more we have to lose if we fall.
The Word is God’s most powerful Spiritual Tool. We can cling to the scriptures that restore our peace of mind. The Holy Spirit reminds us of every Word spoken, just when we need to hear. In the trecena of Night/AKBAL we hear the Creator’s Voice in our Dreams.
The glyph illustrates the Hand that is dedicated to the Lord’s Mission. We’re guided to meet at an alter every Day in humility of our Human limitations. The Lord will provide the Power to stand. We’re reminded to turn back to the Divine Truth at the first sign of wandering thoughts that lead us into danger. Like the rod, there is Power in the Name of Jesus.
The priest keeps every tool that has ever been given. There is risk of using too many Spiritual Tools. We don’t have to do more and more to prove our Faith. It’s better to lean on One, the Power of Jesus Name.
The Spiritual Tools of the Deer are magnified by repetition. This is the Day of Deer/MANIK in the Solar Year guided by 2 Deer/MANIK. The 2 together as 1 hold the Power of Divine Trinity. The Lord guarantees that we’ll reach Holy Ground.
The Deer is a symbol of Vigilance. We are guided to track our thoughts for the first sign of danger. When we grasp the Truth by Faith we are complete a circuit to the Source of the Light. The glyph illustrates the Hand that grasps a thread of plasma that forges our Faith in the One.
We haven’t lost our Salvation when we wander. It takes Time to resolve the Truth that unites our heart and mind. We aren’t changed all at once.

PRAYERS FROM THE SECOND WATCH – INTERCESSORY PRAYER
Praying for others as we pray for our Self is a Spiritual Tool that magnifies the Power of our Prayers. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. The Holy Spirit Intercedes for us without ceasing.
THE EIGHT WATCHES
Night Watch
First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare
Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word
Day Watch
Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer
Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.

Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural networkers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
A GOOD DAY TO: Be of service to others.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
