Greetings Kin,

Tone 12 brings the Intention of Understanding. Tone 12 is the day we comprehend the Meaning and Purpose of our experience as Wisdom moves from the head to the heart.

The AKBAL trecena led a journey through our Dreams and the darkness of the fear that they could never come true. Connecting our Conscious to our Unconscious thoughts, AKBAL raised our Awareness to the broken dreams of Humanity.

In the darkness, our Human eyes were trained to see the Light that is always shining the way to our Divine Destiny from the Beginning to the End. Our Light is the Eternal Love of the Creator. Once we realize we are children born of a Divine Creator, we will Know a Light would always be shining our Way Home.

Jaguar/IX is the most Spiritual of the Day Signs, leaving the tracks of Light for us to follow. Jaguar is the sign of the shaman who holds the Wisdom of “Earth Magic,” said to be born of its Abiding Love and Gratitude for Mother Earth. Jaguar lives its life alone. With Mother Earth as its only constant companion, the Jaguar sees Her as the source of every Blessing. IX draws its Spiritual Strength living close to the Earth. Walking in silent stealth, Jaguar hears her Beating Heart in every living thing.

12 Jaguar / IX

Greetings Kin,

Tone 12 brings the Intention of Understanding. Pieces of understanding are brought together as a new and functioning whole. Tone 12 is the day when what we’ve learned makes the trip from the head to the heart.

Jaguar/IX experiences the whole through its heightened sense of its surroundings. Often the only sign of a Jaguar are the footprints it leaves behind. The Jaguar is the sign of the shaman and shape-shifter, capable to travel in Spirit to any place and time. All its magic and Spiritual Gifts are said to be born of its Gratitude for Mother Earth. Living close to the ground, the Jaguar sees Mother Earth as the source of every blessing.

On 12 Jaguar/IX we can find our Understanding through the Natural World. As we complete a journey of Spirit, the Jaguar calls us to draw close to Mother Earth to reflect on all her forces of nature. Many of her miraculous ways are still a mystery, how her matter is influenced by Human thought. We are One as “the Creation” and “the Creator” of our experience of the world.

Greetings Kin,

Tone 12 brings the intention of assimilating our new knowledge into a the Whole of our Wisdom. Our gift of retrospection is highlighted to clearly see the ground we’ve covered. The Akbal trecena added another gift by connecting our Intellect and Intuition. Using these gifts together for the purpose of Hindsight, we can draw from both our Experiences of Spirit and Physicality. This is the day when Truth sinks in.

I’m inspired by the calendar’s perfect order in a Way of Acquiring Divine Wisdom. We are completing another Season of the 260-day Tzolk’in round. Our next trecena begins the last Season of the Tzolk’in Sacred Cycle of Transformation. We’ll have expanded opportunities in the next trecena to “Look back” again to see the Body of Wisdom we’ve assimilated over the whole of the Tzolk’in round.

Jaguar/IX is a Day Sign of Spirit whose way of seeing things is through the Whole of its Senses. Jaguar’s are seldom seen because they’re acutely aware of everything around them. Beyond their physical Senses, Jaguar is also magical in its ability to See into the Realm of Spirit. They are the shaman and the shape-shifter who can share their vision as they travel through time and space. The Jaguar can help us see into the future by leading us on a journey to our past.

Greetings Kin,

Tone 12 gifts us with “a great capacity of retrospection… allowing us to connect disassociated parts into a new functioning whole.” The Night/AKBAL trecena brings the purpose to make the connection between our Intellect and Intuition. Reasoning and Dreaming were designed to work together.

Jaguar/IX is the Day Sign most capable to open our Highest levels of Consciousness. We are opened to our intuition. Pay attention to your thoughts and gut feelings. It’s possible to have a sudden realization of seeing something in a new way. Something that comes to us through reflection will facilitate our next transformation. Like the ending of a story, Tone 12 is an experience coming to its conclusion. We are changed as the Truth sets in.
