8 Road / EB – Baptism of Spirit: Day 8 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

8 Road / EB (Human)

Greetings Kin,

Today Human is blessed by a Transformation and the Fulfillment of Divine Justice. Tone 8 is the Holy Day of the Trecena, the day when a Divine Agency intervenes on our behalf. 8 is the number of Pure Spirit, marking the days when Sacred Ceremony was observed by the Maya. The Kiche Maya observe 8 Road/EB (Ee), as Human’s “Day of Destiny.”

A Sacred Journey is our Destiny. Human is the bearer of time, and the conductor of our own destiny. Road/EB serves to open the road for future groups, communities and other individuals. They are known for making sacrifices for others, and many become caretakers of the poor, sick, or elderly.  Road/EB is sometimes referred to as the sign of Grass, the most bountiful of all life forms, and the most humble. Road holds the Dream of Peace on Earth.

Tone 8 is the day of the Divine Justice of Harmony and Equity… the Creator’s Highest Intention at our Creation. Today we enter the Transformation Phase of this trecena, guided by a Divine Agency. 8 Road/EB offers a new revelation of what we were created to be.

The glyph illustrates this Road on the Head of Human. Our Destiny is fulfilled by a Choice of our own Free Will. On either side of the Road are the milestones that mark the important turning-points in our process of Transformation.

10-DAY PORTAL: Element of Ether
The Serpent/CHICCHAN trecena presents 10 Portal Days in a row (Tones 2 thru 12). Our experiences will be magnified by a thinning of the veil and an opening to other dimensions. On the Holy Day of the trecena we are received by a Divine Agency for a Spiritual Blessing. CHICCHAN’s Highest Purpose is to offer the Gift of “Lightning in the Blood” – the catalyst of Spiritual Experience. This is the Day of our Initiation and Baptism of Spirit. Our Spiritual Sense of Divine Justice will be magnified and multiplied to abundance. Our Spiritual Gifts are Transformed from Subtle Forces to become recognizable as a Sense of Knowing and Direction.
