9 Seed / KAN – Inheritance of Wisdom: Day 9 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Seed / KAN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 9 holds the Intention of Patience. The Number 9 is all about completion and comes with a warning that there could be suffering to bear if we don’t take the Time to see the Bigger Picture.

The Peak Tone 9 completes our Transformation of the Wisdom/CIB trecena, a cycle of “darkness” through which we will Complete the Wisdom of our Highest Journey.

Tone 9 represents the Highest Spiritual Tool for Divine Discernment. The Intention of 9 is to look deeper and higher at everything. One element of Truth and Wisdom can apply to many things. To seat Wisdom in our Consciousness, we need to apply it to the archeological treasure of our past. Our subconscious mind will remember, when we see things from the new perspective.

Seed/KAN brings the Power to See Clearly. Holding the Force of the Dragon, KAN is the magic at the Heart of the Seed that contains everything it ever needs to know about itself. Seed/KAN and Tone 9 are synergistic forces. Seed calls us to make a thorough investigation of our Self, and 9 offers the Patience to see what we are meant to know.

9 Seed / KAN

Greetings Kin,

Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

Peak Tone 9 holds the Intention to complete the Transformation to a Higher State of Consciousness. Tone 9 calls for Patience to see the Bigger Picture. Our plans and patterns of movement are completed to define the Wisdom of our Experience.

Tone 9 intends for us to see our Truth from a Higher Perspective. Tone 9 transforms our experience through a Deeper Understanding.

The Wisdom/CIB trecena of Higher Learning is guiding us to see how our Spiritual Gift of Creation will manifest a Higher Meaning for Being.

Seed/KAN holds the identity of family, sexual activity, and the magic of germination. The Seed gathers what is needed, generating abundance as if cast by a net. The Seed has the power to overcome obstacles, extending to us the power to free our Self from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Through a new pattern of movement, the Wisdom/CIB trecena is helping us to focus beyond the obstacles and reach for the Light.

The Cherokee Day Sign is the Dragon, the Magic inside the Seed and the Consciousness of Knowing that we will become what we are Designed to Be. Tone 9 can help us see the Power that lies within to generate true abundance. We are guided by Seed to make a profound investigation into our Self.

9 Seed / KAN – Application of Our Spiritual Nature: Day 9 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Seed / KAN

Greetings Kin,

Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

On Tone 9 we are still in the Peak Energy of Transformation. Our Transformation is accomplished through incremental steps of believing. With each new discovery, we form an untested theory – a pending truth. We prove it by comparing it to a truth we already believe. We move from a theory to a truth when we find the correspondence between the “known” and “unknown.”

Tone 9 intends us for us to prove our Truth by viewing it from a Higher Perspective. Patience is called for to look deeper into our own understanding.

On 9 Seed/KAN, the Wisdom/CIB trecena of Higher Learning sends us on another fact-finding mission. We’ve been learning how our Spiritual Gifts can be a meaningful part of our lives. We carried the weight of our hopes and dreams in a Leap of Faith to find out how we could make this happen.

The Divine Agents that intervene to help us understand present a new “Spiritual Gift” that can prove that our “supernatural gifts” are an integrated part of who we are. Seed/KAN can transform us through an understanding of our “Spiritual DNA.”

9 Seed / KAN – Path of Higher Learning: Day 9

9 Seed / KAN

Greetings Kin,

Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” ~ Robert Louis Stevenson

The Peak Energy of Tone 9 calls for our patience to see a broader perspective. We could miss the Higher Purpose of what we are learning, by not looking more deeply into our own Inspiration.

Seed/KAN holds the dynamic potential for us to create something new. We are guided by Seed/KAN to see our place as co-creators in the world. And, we are called to participate in the Earth magic that transforms a Seed from a dormant grain into a full-grown living thing.

Seed holds the evidence of the miracles all around us. Some seeds are so small they can barely been seen, yet within the tiny seed is encoded thousands of pages of information that define what it will be. When seed is given the right conditions it begins its miraculous transformation into something millions of times greater than itself.

seed smallCould we even imagine this is possible, if we hadn’t seen the miracle for ourselves?

Seed is a symbol that reflects who We Are. The Maya revered Corn as the symbol of all the people in all the colors we are. And the Tzolk’in of 260 days reflects the gestation cycle of corn that is correspondent with Human gestation.

Like the seed, we are growing to become exponentially greater than we are in our beginning. And, like the seed, the monumental process of our growth is barely recognizable from one day to the next. Our Faith needed to Manifest our Highest Aspiration will rest in the Worthiness we Believe is held in our Intention – the Seed we plant.

The Cherokee Day Sign, the Dragon, is the Corn Spirit, which symbolizes the duality of the Corn Mother and Maiden, holding the power of fertility and pro-creation for each generation. A single seed of corn holds the power of fertility and abundance to multiply itself to reproduce a whole garden within a single generation. The “dragon energy” of Seed is the Holy Fire of Creation that generates our Spiritual Harvest.

The Dragon offers the capability to “See Clearly.” Seed encourages our “profound investigations” into self. We are asked to consider the Seeds we would sow. We must cultivate our garden, gathering what is needed and clearing away the debris of our past. Tone 9 asks us to see the Rest of the Truth about our Self.

Seed holds the potential to affect future generations… the Power to Change the World. 8 Night/AKBAL showed us how to Heal Our Self, yet we only addressed the Fault We Know We Deny… those closest to our own Experience. From the broader perspective of Tone 9, we would consider Mother Earth and the Whole of Humanity as a Higher Purpose of Intention.

The chaos of the world is the reflection of our Own Darkness. We are also self-serving, taking more than we give. We are also dishonest, covering up the darkest truth about our Self. And, we also leave our footprint on Mother Earth. When we can accept the Truth that the outer darkness is our collective reflection, we hold the Power to Heal the World.

Seed/KAN connects us to the Heartbeat of the Earth. As a Day Sign of the South, KAN relates to our relationships with one another and with the Natural World. Holding the Power of Reproduction and Germination, Tone 9 asks us to plant the Seed of Forgiveness on behalf of Mother Earth and all the Corn People.

To all my relations, may we have the Patience on Tone 9 for Seed/KAN to reveal the Higher Purpose of our Way of Forgiveness. As we lay down the blame that sees only the fault in others, we would cry the Tears of Forgiveness to Heal the World. As we evaluate the worthiness of this Intention, there’s no doubt our Seed would serve the Highest Intention of the Creator. We would take our own place among the people, full-grown by a Seed of Sacred Wisdom, to become the Old Ones who preserve New Sacred Wisdom, the Inheritance for Future Generations.

Daykeeper’s Journal:

Cultivating Our Dreams

“You couldn’t hardly believe there was life in them tiny things, some no bigger than grains of dust, let alone colour and scent, if you hadn’t seen the miracle, could you?”
L.M. Montgomery, ‘Anne’s House of Dreams’

We are called to participate in the Earth magic that transforms a Seed from a dormant grain into a full-grown plant.  We are guided by the archetype of Seed/KAN to see our place as co-creators in the world. Seed/KAN holds the dynamic potential for us to create something new.

From the womb of all Creation, AKBAL, we have been given a new seed of inspiration. Our seed’s germination depends on both internal and external conditions.  Before it can grow a seed must be fully developed to contain the embryo that defines its potential and the store of food reserves that will provide for its sustenance. The most important external factors include the right temperature, water, oxygen, or air and sometimes light or darkness.

Galactic Tone 9 reminds us that developing  new ideas into potent seeds requires our attention and patience. Seed encourages our ‘profound investigations’ to see all it is meant to become and to discern the right conditions for its cultivation so we may know what is needed for our seed to be brought to harvest.

Seed helps us to prepare ourselves for the miracle of new growth, so we may become the fertile soil needed for our seed to grow. We must take all the factors into consideration – the condition of our garden, the nourishment we are able to receive from our surrounding environment. We must be in right relation with the world around us.

To all my relations, may I recognize the power of the magic that has been placed in my own hands. Help me to see all potential so I may be inspired to provide all that is needed for my new seed of inspiration to grow.
