May is most notable for being the turning point in the year where temperatures rise and a vast variety of flowers come into full bloom. One specific plant that’s very important during the May season – not a flower – the Corn Planting Moon. The May full moon also marks the Wesak Moon celebration (Taurus Full Moon), is considered the most powerful full moon of the year – called the “high watermark” of Spirit. The Wesak Moon is celebrated worldwide with meditation, light offerings, and festivals, particularly in Buddhist traditions.
