How can you tell them apart?

The nose, feet, and ankles are the most distinguishing differences, though it requires seeing them together. Adult females are bigger than the males with larger ankles and bigger feet. The nose may be the easiest way to guess. The female’s beak is more stout, while the male’s appears to be more streamlined and narrow.
