MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
“Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.” ~Cherokee Sacred Calendar
9 Wisdom/CIB is the last peak day of this trecena. A Divine Agency is engaged in the process of our Transformation. The Cherokee Owl helps us to find our place among the stars by shining a Light of Forgiveness.
Tone 9 calls for our patience. There is something more for us to see by looking again, from our Higher Perspective. The Wisdom/CIB glyph illustrates the mind in its Highest State of Consciousness, made possible by Forgiveness.
When we think of forgiveness, our first thoughts may be of the forgiveness we resist offering to others. What’s most obvious and personal are the resentments we hold against each other. As we are in a transformation to our own Higher Consciousness, Tone 9 asks us to look beyond our first understanding so we can see where we haven’t forgiven our Self.
Among my first discoveries on this new road of Consciousness were the Rules I create for myself. When I started this journal, I had the rule that it must be written after midnight. I spent the first 3 months jumping from bed the moment my eyes opened at 3am so I could finish before work. I wondered how long I could go on. It was the Star/LAMAT trecena when I realized this was a rule I’d created for myself. I wondered, “Where did this rule come from?”
Our unconsciousness lays the groundwork for the illusions of our Shadow. Acceptance in the outer world is conditional based upon an endless variety of differences. In defense, our Lower Self lays down rules upon which to measure our “rightness.” Our Shadow lives in fear of the blame, and the possibility of being unworthy for the one thing we want the most.
Tone 9 broadens the scope of our awareness so we can see where we are most lacking Unconditional Love is for our Self. We seem unworthy – we call it God’s Grace, to be loved in spite of all our failings. As we grow in Consciousness of the Creator, we would know there was nothing ever held against us. Grace is a Human experience.
Our Highest Transformation offers a new Consciousness of the Creator’s Unconditional Love. We are held aloft, close to the Creator where we might Know the Mind of God and see our Self through the eyes of Unconditional Love. This is our Divine Destiny and the whole purpose of our Life’s Journey. Our journey of Enlightenment is a discovery of Love so Great it makes possible the forgiveness of our Self.
Wisdom/CIB is the Day Sign of the Old Ones, the Ascended Masters that walked this way before. We could see the thing they share in common is an Achievement of Unconditional Love. They are with us now and always, waiting to offer their Love and Guidance. They were made One with the Creator through a Consciousness of Love, and wait for us to Join them as a Point of Light in the darkness.
To all my relations, may we consider how happy life would be, unrestrained by all the unnecessary rules we create for our Self. The Only Rule that matters is to Love One Another. May we see our Self as a Light that Grows through a relationship with the Creator, where we will learn what it is to be Unconditionally Loved. We would Live and Learn without the need for judgement. We could Live and Let Live, unthreatened by the differences of others. Our differences would become the stories shared so we could all benefit from the experience. Our Love matters in the Highest Good of the Whole. May we be transformed by a new Love for our Self through forgiveness, so we might grow in our Consciousness of the True Meaning and Experience of Unconditional Love.

9 Wisdom/CIB (Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’)
Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine, plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.
Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons. A good day to sit on a rock.
Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’ : Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes. Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative. Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.
