12 Night / AKBAL – Journey to a Dream: Day 12 of 13

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

12 Night / AKBAL

Greetings Kin,

Tone 12 holds the Intention of Understanding and brings a great capacity for Retrospection. This is a day of Transformation as the Truth of an understanding moves from the Head to the Heart.

The Road/EB trecena has led an Application of living in the Truth of our Spiritual Identity. The Road glyph calls attention to important milestones of understanding. The Cherokee Day Sign, Rattlesnake Tooth, refers to Sacred Medicine leaves the mark of a turning-point of a Spiritual Healing. Together they reflect this as a trecena that would make an impression and be remembered.

We’ve been guided to realize the Journey to our Destiny is not a path we travel alone, but in Companionship with a Divine Creator who empowers our shared Intentions. Today is the New Moon, a time for sharing the Intentions of our Dream. Wind/IK encouraged us to command the Destiny of our Sacred “I Am” through the Spoken word. Night/AKBAL is the Day Sign that can respond in Spirit as the One that Speaks to us in our Dreams.

Night/AKBAL is a Blue Day Sign of the West. West is the direction of our Earthly walk into the Darkness of the Unknown… the place where all Dreams are Possible. Holding the Element of Water, AKBAL is capable to touch our emotions. Our heart speaks a Divine Language that shares the Human condition more completely than our words. Knowing how we feel, the Creator can offer the Words of Love that are most needed.

Seeded in the heart of every Human is a longing to be Unconditionally Loved. When we talk about our “soul mate” or “spit apart” we define our Sacred Other as someone who would wholly understand us and love us exactly as we are. We would see this as a relationship that’s ever-lasting, faithful, and compassionate… one who would always wants to be near, who forgive our mistakes, and always seeing us in our best light. The Creator is the Perfect Giver of this Love. No one knows us better, or understands us better than a Creator of Unconditional Love.

The Cherokee Day Sign the Hearth, is the Sacred Fire that burns through the night, the Light that is always shining in the darkness. The Hearth beacons us to willingly enter into the place of all possibility with the encouragement that there will be a Light to follow.

On the Day of Understanding we are offered the evidence we needed to claim this Truth. This is a day to pay attention to hear a Voice that speaks to us in our Dreams, whether sleeping or awake. AKBAL can be a dreamy kind of day. AKBAL lends the air of detachment from our daily life, and makes a connection between our Intellect and Intuition. Through our Spiritual Gifts, we can be inspired with an personal experience of the Truth of our Divine Connection. Through our Intellect we are able to arrive at a Divine Discernment. One Truth opens the door to “if this is True, then…”

Night/AKBAL reveals that our destiny lies within the experiences of every moment. The joy we were created to know wasn’t meant for tomorrow, but for right now. Living in the Moment with Consciousness of the Creator is a Flow and Pattern of Movement that will naturally lead us to Human’s Highest State of Being.

AKBAL sees the unknown and is said to see the thoughts of our Unconscious Mind. AKBAL can raise to the surface our fear of being Unworthy of such a Blessing. The Creator’s Intention is for us to Know Unconditional Love. Though it is easy enough to define, few Humans are familiar with this actual experience. The only way we might experience it is by seeing that “what we feel is broken” doesn’t separate us from the Creator’s Love. In fact, we have the deepest experience of the Creator’s compassion and understanding when we open our hearts in Humility.

As we watch and wait we are called to open our heart. There IS NO DARKNESS that can’t be healed by the Light of Divine Discernment. AKBAL offers the Creator’s words of Unconditional Love.

AKBAL is the Bringer of the Dawn to illuminate the Road of Life. We are guided by the one that can dispel the doubts, insecurities, and fears of the unknown.

To all my relations, may we give thanks for a Soul Mate who holds the Almighty Power of a Supreme Creator. May we know the Truth that we will never be abandoned or left alone. When we know in our heart that whenever we face our own darkness, a Source of Abundant Love is faithfully waiting to share the Light. As we speak the Intention of who we Dream to Be, may we recognize an Inner Voice that speaks directly to the need expressed through the Heart.

in lak’ech, I am another you

12 Night/AKBAL (Cherokee, Hearth/O’YA)

Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.

Night/Akbal: Bringers of the Dawn. Dreamers who bring the new sun to clarify and illuminate the road of life. Thus the insecurities and doubts born of darkness of the sub-conscious mind are dispelled. These persons travel the Void… a place where nothing yet exists but all potential dwells, the womb of creation. From this void, Night persons bring forth new solutions and artistic inspiration. Night’s voyages of dreams build confidence and happiness with a sense of well being. If night does not bravely journey into the void they may find themselves wandering the darkness of self doubt and insecurity.

Cherokee, Hearth/O’YA: Hearth’s symbol is the fire pit in the Center, velvet black as the night. The triangle in Orion. The M42 nebula (home of the Central race from the WingMakers) in the center of the triangle of Orion is the fire in the Hearth, also matching the Mayan. The Hearth is the Torchbearer who holds the light and warmth throughout the night. Belief is so strong that the surrounding elements become entrained to their rhythm and all resistance falls away. With respect and honor of intuition combined with knowledge this energy creates the magic of the center in this dimension.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
