MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 13 marks a new Ascension of Consciousness. The Road/EB trecena has led us to a new Awareness of who we are and the Divine Meaning and Purpose of our Life. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.
Seed/KAN represents the magic of germination, associated with Human reproduction. Our ability to grow to maturity and produce a new harvest relies on our placement in fertile soil. As we are growing into the maturity of our Spiritual Being, our fertile environment is living in companionship with the Creator.
Seed/KAN holds the force within to free themselves from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Seed has the power to overcome obstacles and find it’s way through the darkness to the Light. We create the fertile environment for our own evolution through gratefulness and the ability to see what we are meant to become.
Seed/KAN encourages a profound investigation into our Self. On Tone 13, we’re capable to see new possibilities based on a new understanding of our Self. A Seed finding it’s way to the Light doesn’t give up when it faces an obstacle, but continues forward to find a way through or around. Seed also reflects the miracle that something so small is capable to become exponentially greater through the process of growth.
The Cherokee Day Sign, the Dragon, represents the magic of the Life Force that is held in the Seed. A Seed holds the Dream of an Intention, the Divine Plans that give us something to reach for. Our way is easier when we Acknowledge that each challenge is a Faith-building exercise that helps us develop our Spiritual Strength. We would never look at a sprout and cast judgement on its frailty or smallness. We know that this is only the beginning of a transformation in progress.
The Dragon brings the energy to “See Clearly.” We no longer have to judge ourselves for where we are. On a day of Ascension, we can see that we are well on our way to becoming something greater. Seed/KAN generates Faith in the Future. We can recognize that our New Growth is the evidence that our Transformation is on-course. We have the Vision to see where it could lead. The fertile environment for Becoming lies in the courage to face our Self.
Our growth is possible through a incremental steps of learning and applying what we know. Our experiences in the world reflect back to us when we are headed in the wrong direction. How Human Nature is inclined to self-defense. Without a clear vision to see our limitations, we have no way to grow beyond them. Through a relationship with the Creator our growth is made possible through Unconditional Love. Knowing we are always Loved allows us to accept with Gratitude that there is more that we could Be.
Today we are capable to see new horizons. We can leave something of our challenges in the past. We can see by our New Growth that we are capable of more than when we started. The Road/EB trecena has helped us see that our Destiny was embedded in our Spiritual DNA. We only have to accept who we are in each stage of our development and choose to walk in Faith and Correspondence with a plan more powerful than our own. We were designed to multiply to abundance the Seeds of our Dreams.
Today is an important day to Acknowledge our Self and Celebrate the New Growth that is the Sign that we are Becoming. It’s a time to clearly see what has changed in our Self. We acquire the Wisdom of a new experience of our Closeness of the Creator. In the 6th uinal of Flow, we are establishing a pattern of Movement that holds Faith in a Power that is greater than our own. We are made capable of even greater accomplishments.
Seed/KAN reminds us that we are creating the inheritance for a future generation. What we are capable to accomplish will pave a way for those who will follow. We can be grateful that our Road was made easier by those who came before.
An Ascension is an experience of graduation that marks a milestone on the Journey of Human’s Destiny. We can compare our thoughts to the message that would be shared at a commencement. We look back at ourselves as we started. We celebrate the accomplishment of the obstacles we’ve overcome. And, we share the Hope of a Brighter Future. At an Ascension we see ourselves at the threshold of new possibility.
This trecena has provided all the experiences of an Honors Program. We’ve been given challenges we never experienced before so we could reach Higher Ground. What was Unknown when we started offered us a clearer vision of what might be possible in the future.
When we live “unconsciously” we our out-of-touch with a sense of direction. We tend to cling to and defend who we are right now. We fear own limitation as something we are unable to overcome, so we defend it instead of seeking to change it.
When we experience Life through Heart-centered Consciousness each moment reveals the potential Beauty of Living. The Road/EB trecena opened our eyes to the Power of Spirit in the world. Our Love is the Force of Nature that is capable of all things. Love as our Driving Force that engages the fullness of the Supernatural Powers inherent in our Human Design.
To all my relations, may we recognize a Driving Force that is inherent to our way of Being. May we see the truth that there is a Power Greater than our own Will. The Driving Force behind our capability to Become was Seeded before we were born. The Dreams of our greatest accomplishments can rely solely on a Divine Source of Power that is engaged by accepting the experiences of our Growth as having a Divine Meaning and Purpose. Living in Gratitude and Humility, we can move beyond our own limitation. May we see clearly that our Disappointments are the Seeds of a Dream to be something more. May we claim that we are more today than when we started and that we have arrived at an accomplishment that offers greater capability for our future.

13 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA)
Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden. Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ”eye, to look at, to see clearly”. Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy,” pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
