MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 6 offers the Peak Energy of Flow and Rhythm of Movement. A pattern of movement takes on the Power of Momentum. The first 6 days of the trecena is the phase of new Spiritual Growth compared to climbing a pyramid. Tone 6 is the last step of an ascent. The sum of our experience is our Offering of Intention for our next Transformation.
The CHICCHAN trecena is a cycle of Spiritual Experience. CHICCHAN serves as a catalyst that ignites the Life Force of Spirit. Through a Portal that magnifies our Spiritual Experience, CHICCHAN helps us to identify ourselves as a Being of Spirit. We are called to Invest our Highest Performance in an effort that will be matched by a Divine Agency.
6 Dog/OC demonstrates a way of moving with Unconditional Love. Residing at the center of the Tzolk’in, OC reflects the characteristics of movement that are Central to a Divine Spirit. The Dog helps us establish a way of living that Loves Every Experience without condition. Holding the Unconditional Love of the Creator, Dog/OC helps us to see that every experience is worthy of our Love and that each day, each moment, is a Sacred Event in the process of our Transformation into the likeness of the Creator.
10-DAY PORTAL: Element of Ether
The experiences of the CHICCHAN trecena are magnified by a Portal that thins the veil to the Dimension of Spirit. A Portal serves to connect us to Divine Agency that can help to elevate our Faith through a Spiritual Experience. As we apply an Effort of Faith in our own Spiritual Truth, we are positioning ourselves for a return of Divine Justice. Today, this Portal will magnify our Experience of Love.
The 6th Uinal of 20-Days:
The energy of 6 is also magnified by the current uinal cycle. Tone 6 in the 6th uinal magnifies our Consciousness of a Divine Flow of Spirit. The energy of 6 is compared to the accomplishment of a great athlete whose movement has been well-practiced to become second nature.
MASTER NUMBER: 66
Tone 6 in uinal 6 reflects the Master Number 66. Number 6 carries the attributes of humanitarianism, community, service to others, home and family, domesticity and social responsibility, grace, gratitude and simplicity. Number 6 also relates to material issues and provision. Number 66 is a powerful number of unconditional love, healing and faith and trust in the Divine. Number 66 is a call to put our Trust and Faith in the benevolence of the Universe to meet our daily needs. When 66 appears, it’s a sign to hold positive thoughts and faith that Divine Forces are assisting, guiding, and supporting you to manifest your goals, desires and wishes. Number 66 reflects an intention to balance your physical, material, and spiritual lives. Focusing on your spirituality and living a lifestyle of meaning and purpose insures our needs will be met as you will be serving your Divine Life Mission. Give any fears or anxieties about your monetary and material issues to the angels for healing and transmutation, and trust that as you live by your spiritual truths all of your needs will be provided for. Be open to receiving and accepting help and assistance from your angels, the spiritual realm, and from other people in your life. [Sacred Scribes]
Dog/OC represents the Higher Power of Love. We’re reminded again that our Greatest Potential for Accomplishment lies in the Passion of our Intention. Dog/OC asks for an Investment of the Heart. When our Effort is invested whole-heartedly we are capable of our Highest Level of Performance.
The first 6 Tones represent a Journey of Faith into the Darkness of our Unknown Experiences of living. Tone 6 is the Light at the end of a tunnel.
My personal experience of the CHICCHAN trecena (so far) has been a dark tunnel. I’ve been lacking a sense of direction and have felt a little lost in the Unknown. The best I’ve discerned these energies for myself has been to consider how little of our time is actually spent being Conscious of Spirit. An experience of living Wholly in Spirit is not how I spent the majority of my day. Most of my experiences are still defined by my outer experience. Or, perhaps it’s just been the chaos of a major life change. I’ve felt like I’m waiting for the sky to part so that all things suddenly become clear.
My best effort was “paying back and paying forward,” sending a care package to someone who deserves more acknowledgement than they’ve received. The contents were simple with effort put into the packaging and wrapping. It wasn’t a delivery by Amazon. I’ve always loved surprises. Waiting their package to be delivered lifted my own Spirit.
Another exercise has been emanating a Force of Spirit in Intention of best outcomes. When challenges triggered my fear it was my way of turning it over to Divine Agency. Two interactions that had the potential to be stressful, ended up being upbeat and positive.
This trecena presents an important time to acknowledge when a Spiritual Effort is working, since the material world seems to reflect everything broken. We can create our own happiness by turning away from the illusions of the world to make the Realm of Spirit our Primary Reality.
Dog/OC shows us how to enter the Flow of Spirit through the expression of Unconditional Love. Dog sees life as an adventure that is full of opportunities. Dog looks for a willing partner for an Equal Exchange of Love. Dog is so sure that Love can be found that it doesn’t waste time being offended by the people or circumstances where it isn’t offered. Dog sees others in their Highest Light and is willing to come back later for another try without holding a grudge. Dog is faithful and loyal to the pack. Dog is the nahaul said to stay with us, even as we journey to the other side. Dog delights in the sights, smells, sounds and experiences of the Natural World, Love of Life and Mother Earth. Dog creates its own experience of Happiness. The Rhythm and Flow of Movement that Dog guides us to adopt is seeing that our Inner Life always offering an Opportunity and Direction for Happiness.
Only the things we really care about motivate our Peak Performance. A casual interest won’t lead us to a Higher Experience of Spirit. It requires an investment of our Whole Heart. Dog/OC can reveal the True Power of our Spirit is Love. By Love we are drawn to accomplish great things in spite of a personal sacrifice.
Times of great unknown can generate the Human response of fear. When we accept and Love each experience as worthy we are not bound by a worldly evaluation. Living for the experience within, we stand to receive the Highest Transformation of Spirit.
To all my relations, may we be Blessed by an in-pouring of Gratitude, Appreciation, and Love for the Opportunity of Living. May we see others in the Light of seeking their own happiness, even when it is distorted by their fear of an illusion. May we be steadfast and loyal to our family, friends, and community, volunteering to always be on their side. May we listen for the Voice of Spirit that offers us a direction and go with the flow toward the next closest opportunity for Love and Happiness.
in lak’ech, i am another you

6 Dog/OC (Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI)
Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.
Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers.
Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI: Wolf is symbolized by Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visible but never at the same time. Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots. All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance. Wolves are a connecting link between the worlds; ones who inspire loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential. Wolf is the Day Sign of teachers, healers, pathfinders and transformers; sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb.
