7 Monkey / CHUEN – Baptism of Spirit: Day 7 of 13

7 Monkey CHUEN

Greetings Kin,

Tone 7 is the balancing place at the top of the pyramid. We are gifted with Reflection to look back on the accomplishments of our climb.

The Serpent/CHICCHAN trecena is awakening us to Spirit. Through our phase of Spiritual Growth we may not have seen the forest for all the trees. Tone 7 offers a Higher View with a 360 degree perspective.

Monkey/CHUEN is the Day Sign of a creator. Known as the Master of All Arts, CHUEN is always in the process of imagining and creating. Monkey is the Weaver of Time who creates the tapestry of our life. The glyph illustrates “time rolled up” on the head of the Monkey, who sees the beauty in each thread of our experience.

10-DAY PORTAL: Element of Ether
The Serpent/CHICCHAN trecena presents 10 Portal Days in a row (Tones 2 thru 12). Portals magnify our experience by thinning the veil to the Dimension of Spirit. Ether is the substance of Spirit that awakens our Gifts of Intuition and Knowing. At the center of this Portal, Dog and Monkey are side-by-side in the middle at day 5 and 6. They represent the central characteristics of a Divine Creator. Together they can help us see the Divine Creator in our Self.

Master Number 111: 7 Monkey/CHUEN is Kin 111. Number 111 is a powerful number of manifesting and manifestation, and carries the combined attributes and energies of number 1 and the karmic Master Number 11. Number 1 resonates with assertiveness, independence and uniqueness, motivation, new beginnings and striving forward, insight, self-leadership and inspiration, positivity and achieving success. Number 11 tells us that to connect with our higher-selves is to know and live our soul mission and life purpose. Number 111 symbolizes the principles of spiritual awakening and enlightenment, high energy, inspiration and intuition, self-expression and sensitivity.

Number 111 is a  signal of “instant manifestation.” 111 signifies that an energetic gateway has opened up for you, and this will rapidly manifest your thoughts into your reality. When a series of 111’s appear, monitor your thoughts carefully and be sure to only think about what it is you really want, not what you don’t want. [Sacred Scribes]

Humans were created in the image of the Creator, born to become Unconditional Lovers and Divine Creators. Dog/OC helped us to see the Blessing of holding the Capacity for Love. Through Reflection, Monkey/CHUEN can help us see that we are Divine Creators – that what we Dream in our Imagination is Manifested in the Physical Dimension.

Art opens a Portal to Spiritual Experience. When we create art we see something that is uniquely our own. No one else would create it exactly the same. Art also makes it easy to see that something was created solely from an image we held in Spirit. Art reveals the process of Creation as Spirit is transmuted into Matter.

A friend an I were discussing art as a Manifestation of Spirit. He said, “Everything we do is Created from Spirit.” I’ve had similar discussions that life is a “living work of art,” though the meaning was magnified by a Portal. No matter what we are doing, we are creating Matter from Spirit. We manifest from Spirit what we choose to wear for the day. We manifest the Intention to go to work, cook a meal, and the way we interact with others. We are always Creating, like Monkey/CHUEN. Through Spiritual Consciousness, we hold the Keys to the Kingdom to manifest our Divine Destiny.

We hold the Divinity to create something Sacred in everything we do. The Elders always said that washing the dishes is a Sacred Event. Through mindfulness, we can acknowledge that we were fed and that washing the dishes is the foregone conclusion that we know we’ll be fed again. We can see the Sacredness of “Human Washing the Dishes.” What is Sacred is so because We Say It Is So.

Traveling home after a 4-day Sacred Dance Ceremony, I had an odd assortment of organic materials wrapped up in my bag… dirt from the ground where I slept, sage collected on the land, tobacco and cornmeal. I wondered how it would pass through security without being disturbed. As I considered my potential response to TSA security, I would explain them as a Sacred Medicine Bundle. In the moment I said that to myself, I Knew they WERE Sacred to me.

Tone 7 is a day I use to reflect on my experiences of Spirit, searching for moments that stand out in my mind. We could look back and consider that everything we did was an Experience of Spirit Manifesting our own Creation. At the top of the pyramid is the Holy of Holies, a Sacred Altar and the closest place to God. Tone 7 reflects the Principle of “As Above, So Below.” What was created from Above will be Balanced on Earth.

CHUEN resides in the West, the direction of our emotional discernment of life experience. Monkey/CHUEN leads an Awaken of the Heart. We could see the possibility of all we were able to Create. We could regret that we could have created so much more Love and Happiness, had we realized the Truth of our Power.

Today is a day to turn off the news and to turn away from any person or situation that would influence negative thoughts. The Beauty we Hold in our Heart can Instantly Manifest a Creation of Happiness.

Monkey is the alchemist of creative play. It scampers from one thing to the next and inspects it up close. CHUEN invites us to Play with Creation. If I owned a magic wand, this is the day I’d use it. I do have some invisible faerie dust and am sharing it with you. It’s right there in your hand. Use it liberally. It’s self-refillable. You can sprinkle it in any direction you want to Manifest a Blessing of Abundance.

A Portal can help us see how Spirit is manifesting in our life. Through Reflection, we hold the Power in our Thoughts and Imagination. In Truth, this is what we do every day, all day long. We are given an Awakening of Spirit to see that what we want is only a matter of Choosing our Thoughts.

Following the way of the Monkey, we can inspect the beauty of every experience in the light that it is our own unique creation. We don’t have the Power to Control others behavior and all the circumstances born of the Free Choice of others, but we Can Control our own Experience of it.

The Cherokee Day Sign, Raccoon, is the playful trickster of friendly mischief, or whatever it takes to coax a smile. There’s no need for regret of missed opportunity as long as we are still alive. Silly Humans, we can create new experiences of Happiness right now, and we can also travel through time to re-create our past experiences. Monkey gives us the Power to re-weave the Time of our Life.

To all my relations, may we reflect on everything we’ve created on the journey of Spiritual Growth. May we make a discernment of what we want, and forget the rest. May we be Vigilant like the Deer looking in all the directions of our life – how we respond to inspiration, how we interact with others, how we walk the road of life, and how we gain the Wisdom of experience. May we consciously emanate an Intention of Spirit, just for the fun of seeing what happens. May we remember the way we created as children, making pies from dirt and water, and use some faerie dust wherever it is needed. May we acknowledge how Rich the Creator meant for our lives to be and hold Gratitude for this Blessing in our Minds and Hearts. May we call this day Sacred as a Gift of a Spiritual Awakening.

in lak’ech, i am another you

7 Monkey/CHUEN (Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI)

Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.

Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.

  1. Hi Debra, it’s as if you wrote my life story at the moment :). Your words were so affirming and encouraging. The physical mountains I climbed on holiday reflected my inner journey and I hadn’t taken the time to reflect on the incredible journey I have been on. And virtually every one of that list of 11 things has happened to me in the past 6 months :). And I rejoice so much :). Have a lovely day, and be a blessing 🙂
