MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 8 is the Holy Day of festivals and exaltation. Each higher level of Consciousness is built upon the Ascension of our last Effort. In our last trecena, Sun/AHAU led us to a New Revelation of Light. We were called to establish a connection for Light within.
Meetings with Sun/AHAU are always days of Personal Revelation. Sun brings Light to what is hidden in darkness, and Illuminates what is Hidden in Plain Sight. Tone 8 is a Day of Divine Justice. 8 Sun/AHAU brings the Revelation for a Life-Changing Spiritual Experience. 8 Sun/AHAU also Completes the 3rd Uinal of Movement that brings a Dream to Life.
The Sun/AHAU trecena transformed our Will to Be One with Light. Reed/BEN reminds us that we are all the firstborn of a Divine family. On the Day of Divine Justice, the Altar we Created will be Consecrated from an Altar Above. AHAU, the Supreme Creator who orchestrated the Movement of the Heavens and Earth, returns on this Holy Day of Fulfillment.
Our Dreams of New Light and a New Way of Being are always supported by the Creator. We are guided to humble ourselves to a Power Greater than our Self. 8 is the Number of Pure Spirit. We will be transformed by the Unseen Power of Light.
On Tone 8 we experience a shift from the energy of an upward climb, to a descent. An Unseen Force draws us, like gravity, to seat a Higher Wisdom and Consciousness. We are existing in our Peak Energy for Accomplishment. Sun/AHAU is the Day to Honor the Ascended Masters for the Spiritual Growth made possible by their Wisdom.
Sun holds the Power of Purification. Sun’s Light can purify us just as it purifies all water. As the Element that holds the Ether of Spirit, so will we receive the healing of a “purified spirit.”
AHAU is a symbol of the Divine Masculine and the Power of Divine Will. Sun is the master of All pursuits, as a lord, musician, dancer, marksman, athlete, and visionary. Suns use wise judgement to lead and defend the people. Sun reveals our capability to be Masters of our Spiritual Power. Our Dreams won’t hinge on Perfection, but the Humility to call for help.
The Cherokee, Flower, is a symbol of the Sun that creates and nurtures, and is a super communicator – a way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy, using the Living Language of Light. The face of the flower follows the Sun to gather the fire of creation. Sun can illuminate the harmony and balance that resonates within the Human Spirit.
We could see new Truth come to Light from those in Authority who have been working behind the scenes on our behalf. Sun’s Light could also offer a Miracle of Revelation about something we thought we already understood.
One of the Miracles of Consciousness we can experience is an Epiphany about a Truth we thought we already knew. Truths we discovered long ago, can suddenly be seen in a whole new light. This is such a gift of Happiness. We can return to our own Spiritual Experiences to discover More Truth from a new perspective. Old Truths can move from the Head to the Heart.
To all my relations, may we Offer our Acknowledgement of the Signs and Wonders in the Sky that were Timed by a Creator of Divine Synchronicity. May we remember the Sun as the “Brightest Sign” that was given, one that would remind us that a Divine Authority watches over us every day. May we honor every day as Sacred for its gift of Light. May we Honor the Divine Agency that surrounds us in the Light of a new Transformation.

8 Sun/AHAU (Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK)
Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eights carefully weighs all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement ‘as above, so below,’ from simplicity to infinity, the energy of eight organizes all levels of creation, some eights are ‘neat freaks.’
Sun/AHAU: Day of the ancestors and connection to their guidance. The divine face of the sun – lord, musician, singer, dancer, and marksman. Suns are artistic, heroic athletes, visionaries with wise judgment who lead and defend the people. So much is expected from themselves and by other people that unfulfilled expectations are a certainty. An accumulation of these disappointments may lead Sun to evade responsibilities, not accept corrections and even build resentment and disdain towards others. Suns should simplify their lives to be able to rise and shine with unconditional love once again.
Cherokee, Flower/GUN’TSI EK: Symbol is the Sun, place of abode of Great Spirit. The Sun creates, nurtures, and is the super communicator, the way station that relays messages and energy from other stars in the galaxy; provides energy for channeling information from the Ancestors; speaking the Living Language of Light, which ignites the consciousness in others. Gold is the color of courage and opportunity of wealth. Creative arts, master craftsman expressing divinity and wisdom through their creations. The face of the flower follows the Sun gathering the fire of creativity, illuminating harmony and balance, resonating peace and continuity within the human spirit. This is the Sign of the Chalice of the Infinite, Caldron of Creation.

HELLO FROM KANSAS! I’m grateful to be spending some time with my parents on the farm. I look forward to reading and responding to your comments. Replies may be delayed until after I return on Saturday. In the meantime, I will be taking in all the beauty of Mother Nature, far from the city where stars are the only lights in the night sky, where the deer bed down under the cedars, and where there is an unobstructed view of Sun from one horizon to the other… the Kansas plains of my Ancestors. I’ll be sending my love around on the Sun. Much love, Debra
