Empowerment: Grounded by Love (3 Deer/MANIK)

To thine own self be true’ ~ William Shakespeare

Ephesians 3:17 KJV
17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

We find the legs to stand when we are rooted and grounded in love. Our Spirit is born of the Savior who laid down his life, so we might live forever.

The Deer is gifted with landscape vision and ears that operate independently to see the first sign of movement and to discern the exact location of the Source. We are rooted and grounded by the Love of the Father and the Son.

Hebrews 12:2 KJV
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Love is our Heart’s Desire. The Truth of Love compels us to follow. The Holy Spirit is dedicated to the purpose of remembering. We are standing in Right Relationship when we dedicate our Life to the purpose. Jesus guided the Way of Compassionate Love that suffered the consequences of sin on behalf of the whole.

Romans 12:15 KJV
15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity

Our Heart is the Center of Divine Discernment. Emotions are only Feelings directed inward. Emotions serve a Divine Purpose as a measure of the well-being of the whole. Love gives way to Faith, Hope and Charity.

John 13:35 KJV
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Deer/MANIK is the Day of the Mayan priest, a living demonstration of one who has dedicated their life to the Service of Love on behalf of the whole. Among our greatest Human limitations is forgetting. Our Divine Mission follows the Way of the Holy Spirit. A living demonstration of Love helps us remember. God is Love.

Tone 3 is the first Day of Movement. We are moved by the Power of Divine Trinity. The Holy Spirit reminds us of the Way. Realizing our Highest Purpose isn’t a Dream in the distant future. We fulfill our purpose with every next offering of Love. On Tone 3 we are moved to Act on it.

The burdens we carry are the resentments we haven’t let go. It’s hard to let go of the emotions of injustice when we can’t see the any consequences of the sin. Love is willing to suffer the consequences that shall be.

The Mission is a dedicated daily practice. Deer is a symbol of stability with 4 legs to plant in each of the 4 directions. We’re guided to see all around instead of fixating on our judgement of one another.

The priest carries the Staff as a symbol of One Truth to lean on as the Word that covers everything. The Lord promises a Divine Provision for every Human limitation. Intention is the Light at the Beginning that will be completed by the Hand of God, when our Highest Aspiration is to share the Love of the Father and the Son.

The cycle of CHICCHAN ignites the Fire of our Passion to Serve. An Overflow of the Creator’s Love sets our Heart on Fire and the Light will ripple through the whole.

Matthew 5:43-48 KJV

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

love, in lak’ech, i am another you

Debra

Hebrews 12 NIV
12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,

PRAYERS FROM THE SIXTH WATCH – PETITIONS, ON BEHALF OF THE WHOLE

The next time you’re drawn to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day, AFTER. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. You may find synchronicity in the Time when you look, after your prayers.

THE EIGHT WATCHES

Night Watch

  • First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
  • Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
  • Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
  • Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word

Day Watch

  • Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
  • Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer (on behalf of the whole)
  • Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
  • Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.

THE TRECENA OF SERPENT/CHICCHAN: AWAKENING THE GIFTS OF SPIRIT

The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.

It only takes 13 days to see how a Divine Intention set at the beginning, always end with the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts to stay on course. Often the matters on your mind follow the divine order of Time as the meaning of every Day.

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th seasons to the end of the Tzolk’in round.

Serpent/CHICCHAN is the 3nd trecena of the 2nd season of the Tzolk’in round, found in Volume 1. There’s something more to see when you discern the meaning of Time for yourself. The meaning of time is revealed by the thoughts on your mind.

NOTE: Tone 1 reflects the 1st Light of Divine Inspiration as the “legend” of this chapter of Time. If you forget where you are, return to Tone 1 to see the “First Light” of Divine Inspiration.

3 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi) – Day 3 of 13 in the trecena of 1 Serpent CHICCHAN

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), who’s wisdom and Tzolk’in date calculator is preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 3: Action. Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”. Three persons are rhythmic to the core and are often restless, as motion is their nature. By working closely with the energy of Three, any person becomes more able to predict motions of all kinds.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

A GOOD DAY TO: Be of Service to Others.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer:  A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician.  Ability to create harmonic resonance.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources. 1. This is really beautiful and grounding. I love the way you connect scripture with nature, especially the deer imagery and what it teaches about awareness and stillness.

There’s something powerful in that idea of being rooted and grounded in love. It gives a sense of strength that isn’t loud, but steady.
