MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
12 is the Tone of Understanding. This is day when disassociated parts come together to establish the Wisdom of a new Experience. This is a day when Knowledge moves from the Head to the Heart.
Earth/CABAN represents Mother Earth, the Creator’s Divine Gift to Humanity. She is the Body that carries us in Womb of Creation. Mother Earth holds the Knowledge for Everything that Human could Understand.
Our bodies are made of her Matter. Our blood is correspondent with the elements of the oceans. We are perpetually transformed by her movement that creates Time and the Opportunity of Experience.
PORTAL DAY: Element of Ether*
12 Earth/CABAN, Kin 77, is a Portal Day that magnifies our experience through a thinning of the veil. Under Tone 12’s Intention of Understanding a Portal can magnify our Understanding.
The Number 77 reflects a magnification of the energies of Tone 7, the Balancing of the Above and the Below. At the top of the pyramid, Tone 7 is the Highest Altar where the Jaguar crosses into the dimension of Spirit. 77 is a Portal of Light and Illumination and Divine Discernment, the ability to Know the difference between Truth and Illusion.
The CIMI trecena promised a Major Life Change. Transformation is a Change of Mind. Tone 12 holds the Intention for us to Understand the Gift of our own Consciousness.
KIN 77: Master Number 77 doubles and amplifies the energies of Number 7, which relates to all our ways of Understanding – inner- wisdom and intuition, contemplation and discernment, understanding of others, inner-strength and tenacity, learning and education, empathic and psychic abilities, endurance and determination, spiritual enlightenment, development and spiritual awakening, and Divine life purpose. Number 77 doubles and amplifies the good fortune that relates to Number 7.
CIMI has guided a journey of application. Each new Ascension builds on the accomplishment of the last. Reed/BEN inspired us to live in Communion with the Creator. We found our Power was down on our Knees in Humility. In surrender to a Higher Power, we would serve the Whole by allowing the Creator’s Light to shine through us. We Ascended on 13 Serpent/CHICCHAN. CHICCHAN ignited the “lightning in our blood,” the Divine Force for All our Spiritual Gifts of Knowing.
Our Passion was ignited to share the Creator’s Light with the world. We offered our Self to an Intention to carry out our Divine Meaning and Purpose. CIMI’s Major Life Change is a Transformation that is manifested by the Wisdom of our Experience.
N’oj, the K’iche Day Sign, is the Day Sign of Knowledge. N’oj relates to Human’s Spiritual Gifts of Intelligence and Consciousness, reflecting 3 Sources of Human Understanding through the Mind, Body and Spirit. Our Spiritual Growth ignites the Holy Trinity of Divine Discernment. We are Transformed as All our disassociated sources of Knowledge are brought into Balance through Spirit, connecting the Above and the Below.
Earth/CABAN draws our Awareness to Mother Earth as a Living Body of Movement. We are One with Her. The Element of Water that holds the Ether of our Spirit is balanced in a Sacred Exchange. We live on her Body, breathe her Oxygen, and feed on the Fruit of a Wholly Sustainable System.
Her Body sustains our Body, and her Beauty sustains our Spirit. Through her Movement, she sustains our Consciousness by the Creation of Time. Without Time there is no future or past for a comparison. Everything would always Be “everything that ever was or could be.” Mother Earth was created for us to have a relationship with the Creator. We would come to Know one another based on the Wisdom of Experience, made possible by Time and the Movement of Mother Earth.
We were given the Consciousness of Becoming instead of just Being. We would experience all the steps of a Creation brought into its Manifestation. The Experience of Transformation was the purpose of Being Human, so we could share in the Experience of the Joy of Manifestation.
The Cherokee Heron and the Aztec Ollin are both Day Signs of Movement. The Heron lives a life of perpetual migration. Correspondent with the symbol of the Phoenix, the Heron rises to new life from the ashes of its past. The Ollin simply represents Movement and a Life in Motion. The Aztec define Ollin as lucky day for the “active principle,” and an unlucky day for the “passive principle.” Ollin guides us to keep moving forward in a perpetual effort of movement. Ollin is a day said to offer a Vision of what we are Becoming.
Human is prone to starts and stops. The fear of failure can prevent us from moving forward. CIB shared the Wisdom that Forgiveness held the “Keys to the Kingdom.” By forgiving our own failure, we hold the Freedom to Learn from the Experience. We could see each failure as a Discernment for future movement.
Murphy’s Law is a proven scientific theory that states if something can go wrong, it most likely Will. The Truth is founded on the Knowledge that there are more ways to fail than there are ways to succeed in any effort. Elements of success are finite, but opportunities for failure are infinite. Even with the best intentions, we most likely will fail. Through a Gift of Intelligence and Consciousness, our failures are given the Divine Meaning and Purpose of Transformation.
Sometimes Human fail to move because we can’t discern a direction. We can always Discern the next Right Thing to do. If that’s all we know to do in the moment, we can Discern we are on course with the Divine Plan.
The only way we could fail is by standing still. Our Movement creates the Time of our Life. Both our Successes and Failures offer the Experiences for Wisdom and Direction. Through Forgiveness, we are free to move in Any Direction that we are capable to discern as the next right thing. We have the faculty to know right from wrong. If the right thing is our Intention, we can rely on a Divine Agency to always be with us to Intervene with a Gift of Divine Justice.
Yesterday, I had the Divine Experience of holding a life in my hands. A young House Sparrow flew inside the opened door as I was placing my daily offering of seed on the balcony. I found it fluttering in desperation inside the blinds of a closed window. I was glad to find it in a place that was easy to access. It lay so still in my hands, yet I could feel the heat generated by such desperate activity, the accelerated rhythm of its breath and beating heart. How I would have loved to pause for a moment to inspect the details of its beauty, yet I shared its sense of urgency for freedom. It appeared lifeless in the moment I opened my hands outside. Then recognizing its opportunity for freedom, it took off. I was moved by the moment that we shared the same intention for its life and freedom, and the realization of salvation and a new beginning.
To all my relations, may we remember we are One with all of Creation. May we Know we are held in the Hands of a Divine Creator who shares our Dreams of Happiness and shares the Joy of the Freedom we would Know through Unconditional Love. May we Acknowledge that Forgiveness is the Greatest Light we Have to Bring for the Transformation of the Whole. May we see how We can become the Agents of Divine Intervention by offering the Freedom and Happiness of a new beginning. May we Acknowledge and Celebrate our own Gifts of Intelligence and Consciousness to Understand the Beauty of the Creator’s Unconditional Love. May we offer a Blessing to Mother Earth for the nourishment she offers to our Body, Mind, and Spirit.
in lak’ech, i am another you

12 Earth/CABAN (Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI)
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability, of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Earth/Caban: Earth/Caban: Keeper of the garden of Earth. Profound synchronistic connections to Earth’s natural cycles and energies provide power of creations and memories of ancient wisdom. Earth persons help dispel bad intentions, habits and ideas. This makes them very good counselors and masters of all arts. Studious and intelligent, Earth persons endeavor to bring a flow of natural order to all aspects of life. Being connected to the dynamic forces of nature, Earth persons need much liberty to facilitate their expression of migration or the sending of long distance communications such as the whales, elephants, birds and many other creatures. Sometimes Earth’s delicate sensitivities are upset resulting in quakes of emotion even the display of volcanic temper.
Cherokee, Heron/GUWI’SGUWI: Sign of movement, of perpetual motion, recycling, regeneration; environmentalists fighting for the underdog. Heron is mentally alert, rational, yet opinionated; has a great faith in people and in the divine plan, holding the magic of ministry, medicine, marketing and matchmaking; healing abilities, especially with crystals; negotiation and mediation energy. Heron is symbolized by Deneb, located in the Northern Cross beside the Milky Way. “The Northern Cross is the Tree of Life, Beside the Milky Way River & Perched atop is Guwi’ sguwi, the Cherokee Heron Spirit Bird, comparable to the Egyptian Phoenix. One Myth has it that a Beautiful Young Maiden (the Heron Spirit Bird) fell from the Tree of Life in the Sky Vault, & Found no Place to Land on the Primordial Sea. Turtle came to the Surface of the Water & gave her a Place to Land. She nested & Laid her Cosmic Egg, From which came all Life on Earth.” (Cherokee Astrology: Animal, Medicine in the Stars, Raven Hall)
