MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

8 Dog / OC

Greetings Kin,

The Akbal trecena guides an Awakening of Spirit that inspires our deepest dreams. We completed the Human effort of Faith, to reach Higher Ground of Spiritual Growth.

On Tone 8 our climb shifts to the energy of a descent. Now in the Transformation phase of a wave of energy, an Unseen Force of Spirit draws us forward through the help of Divine Intervention.

Tone 8 is the number of “pure spirit” that shares the Blessing of Divine Justice. Tone 8 relates to the 8th hour of Solar light in the day (from 5AM to 5PM). The Sun in its zenith hour brings the full Light of Illumination.

Dog/OC guided the last trecena, as a living example of how we would share our Love in the world, and find our own Joy in Living. Dog/OC guides us to see that our Love is eternal, that all the Love we’ve given is a Divine Commodity stored up, ever becoming a brighter Light. Like the Milky way, “the place were the dogs ran,” left a trail of Love across the sky.

Our Transformation begins in the Peak Energy of Unconditional Love. Today we can be Seen and Acknowledged in the Integrity of our own Truth. The Transformation of the world around us is always a personal Change of Mind. Unlimited opportunities can miraculously appear, when we look at something from a different point of view.

Today we are changed by a Higher Consciousness of the Creator’s Unconditional Love. When we Know the Creator desires a relationship with us, just as we are, we can Dare to Be our Authentic Self. We can stand on our Truth, believing in the Divinity of Truth… that following our own Truth can only lead us to the Happiness and Love the Creator Intended as our Experience.

Dog/OC resides in the North, the Direction of our Collective Wisdom. The One thing every Human longs to be remembered for is the Love they left behind. Dog/OC shares the Collective Wisdom of the Creator’s Love.

The Dog is a pack animal. Dog sees the well-being of the whole as important to its own happiness. The Elders say that once the Dog/Wolf enters your life as a totem, you will always be part of the pack. The Dog is faithful, even beyond death, it leads us on our journey back to the stars. Today is a Blessing of Love through a Divine Intervention.

The Celebration feast was always held following the dance. The first plate is always offered to Spirit. I smile remembering how the plate was placed outside, and the dogs were always the happy beneficiary. It suddenly seems perfect that the dogs would be the first to seize an opportunity for an offering of Love.

To all my relations, may we Acknowledge the Loyalty of the Creator’s Love. May we have the courage to see this Truth as a Light we can always hold in the darkness. May we see a Miracle of Love that proves the Truth of a Divine Intervention.

in lak’ech, I am another you

8 Dog/OC (Cherokee, Wolf/WOLF/KANA’TI)

Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weigh all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “As above, so below”. From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. Some Eights are “Neat Freaks”.

Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers

Cherokee, WOLF/KANA’TI: Wolf’s symbol is Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visable but never at the same time.  Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots.  All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance.  Connecting link between the worlds. One who inspires loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential.  A teacher, healer, pathfinder and transformer.  Sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb. Totem -Dog.  Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death.  This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, sets the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle.  Heart chakra energy is involved so that we can move to the state of “unconditional love” with compassion.  All sexual desire issues that are not in harmony will surface to be cleared.

By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources. UPDATE ON A LIFE DREAM:

On 4 Sun/AHAU I was able to make the reservations for the trip to celebrate Ian Lungold’s Mayan birthday, 12 Sun/AHAU, on October 31st along with the observance of the Day of the Dead. It felt important to the information I would share in my book. I’m grateful to be part of such a flow of Love, more necessary that money, for the realization of my dream. You are already the blessing of just being here. (But you could help me spread the word.) much love, in lak’ech, Debra https://www.gofundme.com/life-dream-a-pilgrimage-of-spirit

SEPTEMBER 12th Update:
I received my new passport! My Leap of Faith to buy the ticket before receiving it paid off. 🙂 The reality is starting to set in. I’m excited to carry you with me. I know what a healing it will be to see I’m just as capable as I have always been to charge off into the unknown for the experience. (Monkey must be talking.) I couldn’t be doing this without you.
