MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 12 is a day of Understanding. Tone 12 relates to the faculty of thought that draws disassociated pieces and parts into a new and functioning whole. Like the last scene in a play, a meaning and purpose for the whole experience makes sense when the details are seen as a whole.
Tone 12 offers the Wisdom of experience. We see beyond details to a meaning and purpose as Truth is moved from the head to the heart.
Seed/KAN is the symbol of Human’s identity that was related to the Corn. The Maya related what they knew about the Corn as Truth of Human’s journey through life. They related the two by their same cycle of creation, from a beginning and an end.
As the Seed, we have completed a cycle of germination. We were given a Light, even while we existed in total Darkness. From the Darkness we were propelled forward by pushing in the opposite direction of the Gravity that would hold us down.
KAN is a symbol of the “dragon energy” within the Seed that is the Consciousness of Knowing. The dragon symbolizes a leading force propelled by an Illuminated Consciousness. Dragon energy, like the ley lines on Mother Earth, is a Higher Frequency of Vibration that can influence our state of mind. KAN relates to our Sixth Sense of Knowing the very Truth of Who We Are and everything we Need to Survive and Be.
Master Number 44: Today’s Day Sign resides in Position 4, Uinal 4, illustrating the Master Number 44. The Master Number 44 is known as the “Master Healer” and is very rare in numerology. Angel Number 44 resonates with the attributes of support and stability, establishing solid foundations for the self and others, willpower and effort, ability and worthiness, hard work and achieving success, wholeness and inner-wisdom.” The Seed, positioned as the Number 4 Day Sign, symbolizes the Stability of a Divine Design that will Always Be True to what God Intended it To Be from the Beginning to the End.
Seed/KAN resides in the South, holding the Element of Earth. A Seed holds all the Wisdom to carry out an Earthly Meaning and Purpose. A Seed knows that by carrying out the Intentions of an Earthly Design, it will manifest the Divine Truth of a Harvest that was planned from its beginning. A Seed doesn’t try to be anything other than what it was Designed To Be. Being “itself” is the Highest Aspiration for every Seed planted on Mother Earth.
On 12 Seed/KAN we are given the “dragon energy” to See Clearly, ALL that we were intended To Be and how all the disassociated pieces and parts of our Self are designed to Move us toward a Divine Ending where the substance of who we are is multiplied to abundance. We can see that WE are a Beginning that holds the Power to carry on a Life beyond our own End. Today we can take to Heart a meaning for our Life for ALL Time within the Circle of the Whole.
We can learn something about our Self, like the Maya, by observing the way the Corn grows. A Seed grows in starts and pushes as it grasps what is needed. The Seed symbolizes one that knows everything that it needs. A Seed waits to receive the nourishment it needs for the next big push, then carries it to its end. Then reaches out below in the darkness toward nearest fertile soil. Seed/KAN guides us to make a thorough investigation of our Self and fundamental elements that we need to survive.
Those born Seed are said to draw Abundance to themselves as if cast by a net. A Seed moves beyond any obstacles that would hold it back or stand in the way. Life is the all important mission of the Seed that offers a clearing of Karma. Knowing a Divine Meaning and Purpose To Be, Being Itself, without any obligation to any other purpose is the driving force of the Seed. We are free from every obligation that is contrary to the single-purpose of manifesting Life to Abundance from the Ground of Mother Earth.
Seed/KAN guides us to say “Yes” to what we need to Grow and “No” to the experiences that divert our attention from a single-minded purpose To Be. Seed offers us the Freedom to Choose the Life that was Designed To Be.
Like a Serpent, the Seed navigates by Feelings. Like a Serpent, we grow upward from the Below following paths that aren’t straight, but are woven in and around the obstacles we meet along the way. A Seed presses on, knowing a power within will deliver it into the Light. A Seed knows there is a meaning for all the Darkness to lead a pathway to the Light.
Humans move through a pattern of Balance and Imbalance. The Elders described Human’s walk as balance that precedes a “fall” forward. We wouldn’t get anywhere by staying in one place where we could insure our stability. To move forward, we have to be willing to fall out of balance into the next step, where we recover the balance again. So, does a snake move back and forth as a means to narrow in on the Sound and Vibration it feels through Mother Earth.
There is no path of Wisdom and Experience that runs a straight line. We have to lean into the darkness to sense the direction toward the light. We have to take a Leap of Faith toward the Unknown to realize the Truth of what is Known. Seed/KAN Knows a Divine Reason To Be, and everything contrary to that Truth will be the Darkness that moves us in the opposite direction toward Our Light.
The Highest Truth that is known by a Seed is the Divine Design held within its own Circle of Life. A Seed is brought to Life Knowing it holds within everything that is needed to Survive. The Seed is a Divine Cauldron of Creation that holds the Power of the All-in-One to recreate and multiply itself and its own Meaning and Purpose to Abundance.
Seed ties the feelings in our Heart to a Divine Reason for us To Be exactly who we are. Our leaves may look the same, but within we know we are different as a unique possibility of One. Who we manifest our Self To Be will depend on the conditions of the soil where we grow. The Seed that clears our karma, offers us the Freedom to Choose what’s needed to Grow for the Higher Intention of fulfilling a Divine meaning and purpose.
Seed/KAN holds a Divine Perspective to free itself and others from oppressive patterns of the past that moved us away from the nourishment we needed to grow. We can see that it is Right and Worthy to make choices for our self, when that Choice is necessary for the Divine Reason of Being.
We might see the sacrifices we made that were not beneficial to our Self or the Whole, when they represent the compromise of our own Truth of Being. We KNOW a Seed that needs Full Sun won’t grow in the shade. No matter how well we tended to the Seed, we would Know the limited possibility of it ever reaching its full potential.
The direction of the South relates to our Relationships with one another and the Natural World. Seed/KAN reminds us that the Harmony of the Whole requires each of us to stand on our own. We were each given everything we need to survive on our own, living for the One Divine Light Above. We can’t live off the Love of others. We were intended to all live together following the One Pure Light that shines forever.
To all my relations, may we give thanks for the darkness and the soil of Mother Earth that grounds us so we can Stand in the Light. May we make a thorough investigation of our wants and needs. May we Know our Heart Needs the Light of Divine Love to Grow. May we turn away from the Light we would hope to draw from another Human Being, toward the One Light that will always be ours alone at an altar within.
May we believe in a Day Way that won’t always make sense to a Human Being, believing that ALL the pieces and parts are One in a Divine Design guided by a Consciousness that is higher than our own. May we Dare to Live as Who we Are with our own way of Light. May we know there is one that shines a light on us from Above, that sees ALL our human ways and in every accounting commands by Divine Authority that WE WERE Meant TO BE… that our Life, just as it is, will reach an end that proves that Truth by a Miracle our Heart will Know is True.
May we Know that God Dreamed who we are and by Divine Authority, commanded that Who we Are was Destined To Be. May we see ALL the Seeds of Humanity holding the Truth to carry out a Miracle when we realize a Light that can grow us All to the maturity to stand side-by-side, leaning only into the Light that Shines from Above. May we claim the Sacred Right of Choice, Believing a Divine Creator Chose Who We Are, just as we Are, To Be.
My we See our Self and take to Heart a Truth that we are a thing of Beauty. May we see the Miracle of Every Seed, for all the Truth that is held in the Heart. May we allow our Self to Be Seen as Who We Really Are, and the possibility of Love given to us alone to Create from the Darkness of a Time when the Only Light we could see was born as a Dream in our own Divine Imagination.

12 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA)
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability, of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.
Cherokee, Dragon/UKTE’NA: Dragon’s symbol is Draco winding between the Little Dipper and Big Dipper. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, symbol of dual personality of Corn Mother and Maiden. Fertility and pro-creation from generation to generation. The word dragon means ”eye, to look at, to see clearly”. Spirit brings energy of Lawgiver, Justice, vigilance and protective, loyal unto death. Ley lines in China are “dragon lines”, energy is sometimes called “orgone energy”, pyramid power or magnetic force. Pyramids and kivas are collector portals for this energy, known as vortexes. Dragon energy beats a path everywhere, stirring things up with a big stick in tune with the beat of the drum, heartbeat of the Earth.
