THE TRECENA OF ROAD/EB: THE ROAD TO DESTINY

4 Eagle / MEN
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Greetings Kin,
Tone 4 holds the Intention of Stability. Tone 4 is compared to the cube, the most stable of all forms. Tone 4 defines a dimension by its border and parameters. In the 4th Hour of Light, we step back to see the whole picture of the work at hand to conceive an approach that will serve as the “rules of the game.”
We are inspired to create a Divine Dream. Tone 4 leads a next step higher for Faith to move toward believing, as we conceive the boundary of thoughts that can reach the end. In the 4th Hour, the Mayan surveyed the field of corn to measure a task at hand.
Eagle/MEN guides a way as an Intermediary that raises us up for a Divine View. The Eagle flies to the highest proximity to the Creator from the world below. We are guided by the Eagle Eye to see there are no obstacles between Point A and Point B, when we see the way from Above.
The Eagle can see a direct path to its Dream, and the nahaul/essence of Eagle’s strength is knowing that what it can see lies within it’s grasp. The Eagle is said to hold a gift of seeing the future, often lucky in business because it can see ends from the beginning. As an Intermediary, the Eagle doesn’t show us the end, but shares a gift so we can see our Own Truth by our Self.
The Eagle flies by Intuition. It doesn’t figure out all the twists and turns or unanswered questions from the beginning, but only sees what it wants. It doesn’t calculate by reason. When an Eagle takes off, it falls to the Wind that catches its wings and leans into it, focusing only on the “X” that marks a spot.
We fly like an Eagle when we lean in to the Truth that’s spoken in the Wind by the One Above. When Love is our Intention, we can believe a Divine Creator will carry us through. Today we can remember the Truth of our Meaning and Purpose. When we see our Dream holds a Divine End we will believe in a Divine Provision that was Promised from the beginning of Time. God is close at hand, witnessing every step. The Divine Truth will lift us up when we fall.
GLOBAL BURNER DAY:
4 Eagle/MEN marks the center of the Second Season of the Tzolk’in. In the first season we learned to Love our Self. Now we are moving on to Higher Love in the season of reproduction of a new generation of our Self. Love grows higher with each new season, each one a “life” in itself. Our childhood was a life. Taking on the responsibility of family is the next Higher Life when we find someone we love even more than our Self. We’d give our own Life to save this Love of another. Global Burners serve a purpose to burn away the residue of energy from the past. To create a clear path to Higher Love, the Love of old Human Dreams gives way to the Dreams that will carry on. On Global Burner days the Mayan priest observes the ritual of the Sacred Fire Ceremony to restore our Right Relationship with the whole. Seeing the smoke from the fires, all would remember and gather in Harmony and Equity. Today we are given a sense of release from the Dreams that no longer serve our Highest Good.
The Eagle lies in the West, the direction of the Unknown Future. We can see the future if we look and Remember the Truth that’s Up Above. Leaning in to a Promise for a Divine End, we will Believe our Eyes. Holding the Element of Water, our Spirit will be blessed by the Living Light of Love. We may not see to the end of today or tomorrow, but we CAN see the Truth that lies beyond at the end of our Road. Knowing the End, we can believe in all the steps along the way. We’ll know the Truth will be Revealed along the way.

Knowing the Divine End of our Road to Destiny, the Eagle holds the Highest Hopes and the Highest Aspirations for Living a Divine Life. When you know that Dreams of Love are meant to come True, it only makes sense to Dream the Highest Dreams Possible. In fact, it’s necessary.
The Eagle’s only shadow, the only reason it won’t grasp the prize, is by a Choice to fly away. We may choose lesser dreams than the Truth held in our Heart, thinking they are easier. Though, the Dreams of our Highest Hopes are the ones we would follow when we know the End is Guaranteed. We are vested in the Dreams we Love… Dreams we know as our Heart’s Desire. Another reason the Eagle will fly away is if it sees competition – a fight for the prize when it reaches the end. Leaning into the Truth, we can remember the Dream was shared from the Light Above. It was marked with Our Name from the beginning. A Divine Creator never inspires a Dream that will be taken when we take the Leap of Faith to Believe. The Highest Intention of the One Above is to Believe in the Truth of a Love that shines in us as if we are the Only One. We are the Scion. Through Eagle’s Eyes we can see the Divine Inheritance waiting for One and the Whole… so every cell of the Whole will know there’s a Divine Reason for to be.
The Eagle is said to see it’s prey nearly 2 miles away. All it has to see is a speck of a distinctive color to know the end within its grasp. The Eagle can see beyond the surface of the water, beyond Human emotions. The “rules of the game” are to never look away from it, and to only focus on that Moment when our hand closes on the prize.
To all my relations, may we see with Eagle Vision the prize that was marked with our name. May we grasp the Truth that all our Dreams of Love are personal to us as our Own Dream of Divine Justice. We are all different by the experiences of Life known only in our Time and Place. We can turn to the Truth of our own Wisdom to see every Life follows a different course to the same end – the Hope that Faith could be turned into Believing. Our common burden lies in different perspectives of Truth of what will convict our Heart of the Truth of a Divine Promise that’s personal. May we See that Dreams of Love born in our Heart, bear our Signature and the Truth we are holding Faith to Believe. Divine Justice is the Creator’s Highest End for the Scion who chooses to hold a Divine Truth for a Leap of Faith.
As we survey our own Dreams, may we conceive the Truth that we were intended to reach beyond the Beauty we could grasp, to what lies within the Creator’s grasp. We could remember if we look into the face of a child, and the Innocence born believing that all their Dreams will come True.
May we Remember the Truth that we were created in the image of the One that will cover us under the Wings of the Almighty. May we leave our old dreams behind. It was once a Divine Thing to see the Beauty of Human dreams for our Self. To reach Maturity, now we have to fly by Divine Guidance to reach our Highest end. We have to reach beyond Human dreams for our Self, to the Dreams we could manifest on behalf of the whole. We can become the Divine Intermediary that uplifts the Dreams of another, so they can carry on. Only through the Wisdom of this experience will we grasp the Inner Strength to wield the Divine Power that will be shared from Above.
in lak’ech, I am another you

The Sacred Fire Ceremony page offers the Vision shared by “Beautiful Painted Arrow.” Included is a way to carry it out inside, using wooden matches. A candle is just as worthy to See and Acknowledge a Power that burns matter away, sending only the Light that travels to the ends of Time. May we conceive the Power of Love that sets us free to reach our Highest Aspirations through a Divine Choice to serve as an Intermediary – helping someone else to Believe in their own Light for their Faith to Believe. May we choose to be Invisible so all that someone else will see is the Truth of the Creator’s Love. May we see the Truth this a Holy Fire will burn away the Dross to turn Human’s Heart into Gold.

4 Eagle/MEN (Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI)
Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.
Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.
Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation.Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance. Totem-Eagle. Powerful energy for success in worldly affairs, due to far seeing vision. Ability to create masses of money and abundance through an intellectual type of profession. Eagle asks for what he desires and manifests it. Professor, lawyer, teacher, leader.
