THE TRECENA OF SERPENT/CHICCHAN: GIFTS OF SPIRIT
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Tone 2 holds an Intention of Duality. We are separated from the One to experience the reality of our own Consciousness. On Tone 2 we consider the Light of Serpent/CHICCHAN, an Awakening of our Divine Gifts of Knowing. On Tone 2 we are faced with the Choice, “to be or not to be.” Who are we? What do we want?
On Tone 2 we consider one way or another, conceiving if we can pull it off. As the 2, first we see the possibilities from a Human perspective of Reason. We make a self assessment, often comparing our Self, the Power and the Will to Create our own Divine Life.
Transformer/CIMI is the Sign of a Major Life Change.
CIMI is illustrated as the Face of Death, representing the Truth that something always dies when something new is born. CIMI is a Sign of Change at the scale of a major life transition. CIMI serves as the Midwife and Hospice Nurse that never leaves our side. Through the Chaos of Change, CIMI can lend a peace beyond human understanding.
CIMI offers the Spiritual Gift of Clairvoyance. With the Gift to see the Future, CIMI by our side, always knows exactly what to do in the moment. CIMI serves with a “soft hand” as one who reminds us of a Divine Blessing that Lies in the Future.
Residing in the North, CIMI holds the Wisdom of the Ages. So do we hold the Wisdom of the Life that came before, and by the Wisdom of our own Experience, we know the future too. It may not look like things are moving in that direction, though CIMI holds the Element of Air for the Wind beneath our Wings. We Know the Future when we Remember to look for it.
This is a day to rely on the Sacred Breath to Draw the Truth Spoken at The Creation. Chaos is NATURAL for every Major Change. We can apply the Wisdom to use the Spiritual Tools we have at hand. Simply taking 3 slow, deep, even breaths, we’ll see things more clearly.
CHICCHAN ignited our Heart’s Passion to Live a Divine Life. Shedding our old skin can leave us more sensitive to unfamiliar ground.
CIMI flashes “change, change, change” like a neon sign. We have to let the past rest in peace to move on. We hold the Key to the Kingdom through Forgiveness. Our CHANGE belongs to the future.
Serpent/CHICCHAN lights a fuse that ignites Human’s Sixth Sense in the Heart. Our Heart is expanding to Feel the Truth of a very Divine Conversation. CHICCHAN is awakening our Gifts of Knowing. We are in the chaos of a Divine Labor of Love. We can face the Unknown if we remember a Divine Promise that always waits in our Future. CIMI Knows this is not the end, but just the Beginning of a New Way of Life.
The Cherokee archetype is the Twins, “one identity living two lives.” Venus symbolizes one identity that shines as the Morning and Evening star. When Venus is close to the Morning Sun, she is said to exist in the Underworld. It’s hard to see Human’s Light in compare to such a Brighter Light. Human KNOWS our own Light in the darkness. Those born CIMI are said to undergo powerful Transformations. “The challenge is to master Balance while experiencing Chaos, leading to re-birth and abundance through infinity.”
We must break down an established order to build the New Life of our Dreams. On Tone 2 we are sharing a Divine Communion of Thoughts and God will Witness the True Condition of our Heart. The Sacred Exchange will be Remembering, when 3 Deer/MANIK, the Mayan priest, guides a path to an altar.
To all my relations, may we leave our troubles behind. Chaos is all there is to see in the middle between Point A and Point B. It doesn’t mean a thing until the pieces fall together again. Where they land depends on what we Divinely Imagine.
May we look to our Past as an Experience through which to Know the Truth in our Future. If things don’t look like the Dream we were imagining, then it can only mean we are still somewhere in the middle between Point A and Point B. If we look down, we can see we’re still following the invisible footprints of the Jaguar, exactly where we’re supposed to be.
May we call upon the Wisdom of a Divine Trinity Above, to guide our thoughts and help us remember to look to the Future that we DO Believe is the Creator’s Promise of Beauty, Justice, and Unconditional Love.
in lak’ech, i am another you,
Debra, Jaguar Woman, 9 Eagle / MEN
SYNCHRONICITY OF EXPERIENCE: My journal notes 2 CIMI as an unexpected strike out of an old corner. We can remember to breathe if we are inclined to impulsive action. This is a good day to walk quietly, and like CIMI, offer encouraging words of faith in the future.

My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.
2 Transformer/CIMI (Cherokee, Twins/ TAKATO’KA)
Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Transformer/CIMI: Cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Transformer persons achieve goals and emotional wealth. Transformer people can become highly respected business persons. They have the ability to help others through any and all transitions with tranquility due to their spiritual strength and guidance. Communities often benefit from Transformers discipline and organization skills. They strengthen the life of pregnant women and guide them through the transitions of maternity. Establishing contact with the ancestors activates innate psychic abilities, gifts to be used as tools to assist others. Transformers can have the ability to send evil intentions telepathically, this is their undoing. From these acts they lose power, easily fall into a victim role and begin to manipulate with a vengeance. A good day to tie all loose ends.
Cherokee, Twins/ TAKATO’KA: Twins symbolize the Female Sun and Male Moon, whose union keeps the world going round. Cherokee myth has the Morning Star heralding the Sun, Venus, also being the Evening Star as representing the TWINS. The energy brings major changes all throughout life, riding the tsunamis of earthquake and upheaval, making their own waves wherever they go. They undergo powerful transformations, alternating like a flashing neon sign. The challenge is to master Balance while experiencing Chaos leading to re-birth and abundance through infinity.

The camera view for my virtual work meeting this morning. My one piece of living room furniture, a white plastic chair, isn’t visible with me in it. All appears to be in order.
The Truth behind the scenes. Total chaos in all 4 directions. Shadow doesn’t know what to make of it either.
