Treasures hidden in the Past. The Owl sees what’s behind, and can see through the Darkness.
The Power to See What’s Behind
Our hindsight is only 20/20 when we’ve clearly seen it before. A singular experience is likely to register as an anomaly. We have to see it twice to consider it could happen again. “If only we could see the future, we’d know what to choose.” Wisdom is a matter of applying the Truth of our experience.
Nothing happens by chance in God’s Time. We only have to look to the past to see, when we have Faith that every experience of Life defines the way we perceive the Truth. If we’ve failed before, it’s a sign we’ve learned something new. We’re not unlucky and we’re not a failure as long as we’re willing to apply a mind of reason for its highest purpose.
It takes Time to see clearly. We can’t learn anything from something that’s never happened before. God’s Word shares the past as a prophecy of the future.

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Wisdom/CIB represents the human’s Highest State of Consciousness. The glyph illustrates the Rays of Light that break through the darkness of the Unknown. Tone 12 represents the Intention of Understanding.
The Intention of Understanding registers as a sudden realization of the Truth. Every realization is the moment when the truth of a situation becomes clear. Our thoughts are turned to the times we’ve seen it all before.
Divine Inspiration is a realization of a possibility we’ve seen before. When the Creator uses the past to complete the Truth of our reality. Tone 12 is the Highest Intention of every 13-Day cycle. 12 is a symbol of Humanity, and the Lord’s Intention for us to know the Truth.
The Truth that sets us free relies on 2 things. Beings of Duality reach understanding through the comparison of one thing and another. We can learn at least one thing about everything that’s either different or the same.
The first most important thing to know is that “we don’t know it all”. When we think we do, we stop asking questions. The second, equal to the first, is to fear what the Lord knows. When we know the Creator’s Unconditional Love, there’s no reason to fear the Truth. Knowing is the Light shared from Above. There’s a Time to know, AFTER we’ve seen it all before.
Proverbs 9:10 KJV
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Hebrews 4:13 KJV
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
Luke 21:36 KJV
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
The eyes of the owl are fixed in their sockets. They have to turn their head to see from different angles. We have to choose to see the past clearly. CIB reminds us that Forgiveness is the Key to the Kingdom. Only when we are willing to reveal the Truth in Humility, are we set Free of the Burden of Sin. Forgiveness is an offering we have to earn. We have to pay it forward to receive. We all fall short of our best intentions. Those who have access to the truth are responsible for acting on it and sharing it.
The Owl is related to the “mystic ferryman that carries us to the other side”. Our sin is carried away to the place where all things die. The ferryman of Egyptian tradition weighs our heart to calculate the fare. Only a heart as light as a feather is worthy to cross. When we forgive, we lay down the world’s heaviest burden. We can’t see clearly as long as we are blaming someone else for our own failure to forgive. We don’t see clearly when we hold resentments. We filter out the good to prove we “deserve to be mad”. Anger is an indulgence that stands in the way of our own Peace of Mind.
It doesn’t do any good to deny what God already knows. The consequences of Sin is Death. Knowing God’s Nature offers us a Personal Reason to forgive. A Divine Father forgives again and again. God doesn’t ask more of us that what he is capable to do. We can forgive the unforgivable when know we are standing in Right Relationship with the Lord.
We are only responsible for what we know. Though, we are responsible to learn by the Truth of our own experience. 12 Wisdom/CIB marks a Time to know the Truth by our own experience. It’s Time to search our Soul and to kneel in Humility to the One who promises Love and Understanding. Trusting the Lord is an expression of Love for the One Holy One that never lies and shares the Truth “like it is”.
Philippians 4:4-9 KJV
4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
May we count our blessings for the One who Knows and who understands the True condition of our Heart. Jesus showed us the Way to forgive as the Lord forgives. In return, our Heart will be as Light as a Feather. Some traditions place a penny in the mouth of the dead, to guarantee we can pay the fare for sins we’ve yet to see clearly. We can know it all. If we’re willing to Ask to know, God will open our eyes to see.
“Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. Father, forgive us, for neither do we. AMEN”
love, in lak’ech, “i am another you”

PRAYERS FROM THE SIXTH WATCH – PRAYERS OF THANKSGIVING
The next time you’re drawn to Pray, refer to the 8 Watches by the Time of Day, AFTER. The Bible refers to Watchers from Above (‘iyr in Hebrew) in Daniel 4:13, 17, 23. We’re called to our prayers by high-ranking angelic beings sent from heaven to observe and execute divine decrees. You may find synchronicity in the Time when you look, after your prayers.
THE EIGHT WATCHES
Night Watch
- First Watch: 6 pm – 9 pm – Contemplation and laying foundations in prayer.
- Second Watch: 9 pm – 12 am – Intercessory prayer for protection of ourselves and those around us
- Third Watch: 12 am – 3 am – Spiritual warfare (We are covered by the blood of Jesus.)
- Fourth Watch: 3 am – 6 am – Prophetic prayer because you are commanding your morning with prophetic decrees and declaring God’s word
Day Watch
- Fifth Watch: 6 am – 9 am – Petitions. Ask for strength and surrender. Ask for the Holy Spirit to help you before you start your day
- Sixth Watch: 9 am – 12 pm – Thanksgiving prayer (on behalf of the whole)
- Seventh Watch : 12 pm – 3 pm – This is the seventh watch of rest. 7 Biblically represents that. This is a time to seek God in the secret place
- Eighth Watch: 3 pm – 6 pm – This is the eight and final watch of the night and a time for prayer for revival and renewal. Symbolically, Christ died at 3 pm.
THE TRECENA OF SERPENT/CHICCHAN: AWAKENING THE GIFTS OF SPIRIT

The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.
It only takes 13 days to see how a Divine Intention set at the beginning, always end with the Truth of Answered Prayers. You only have to track your thoughts to stay on course. Often the matters on your mind follow the divine order of Time as the meaning of every Day.
Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th seasons to the end of the Tzolk’in round.
Serpent/CHICCHAN is the 3nd trecena of the 2nd season of the Tzolk’in round, found in Volume 1. There’s something more to see when you discern the meaning of Time for yourself. The meaning of time is revealed by the thoughts on your mind.
NOTE: Tone 1 reflects the 1st Light of Divine Inspiration as the “legend” of this chapter of Time. If you forget where you are, return to Tone 1 to see the “First Light” of Divine Inspiration.
12 Wisdom/CIB (Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’) – Day 12 of 13 in the trecena of 1 Serpent CHICCHAN
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), who’s wisdom and Tzolk’in date calculator is preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons.
A GOOD DAY TO: Sit on a rock.
Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’ O’JJ: Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes. Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative. Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.
