Greetings Beloved Kin,
Serpent/CHICCHAN is the Divine Force that fuels our Passion for Life. The Serpent is a symbol of Divine Forces and the Light of Illumination found in every tradition. The Serpent symbolizes god-like powers over Life and Death, the same as the Caduceus, commonly seen today to identify practitioners of the Medical Arts.

The Caduceus, symbol of God Ningishzida, on the libation vase of Sumerian ruler Gudea, circa 2100 BCE.
Wikipedia: Caduceus – Some accounts suggest that the oldest known imagery of the caduceus has its roots in Mesopotamia with the Sumerian god Ningishzida; his symbol, a staff with two snakes intertwined around it, dates back to 4000 BC to 3000 BC.
As a symbolic object, it represents Hermes (or the Roman Mercury), and by extension trades, occupations, or undertakings associated with the god. In later Antiquity, the caduceus provided the basis for the astrological symbol representing the planet Mercury. Thus, through its use in astrology, alchemy, and astronomy it has come to denote the planet and elemental metal of the same name. It is said the wand would wake the sleeping and send the awake to sleep. If applied to the dying, their death was gentle; if applied to the dead, they returned to life.
CHICCHAN symbolizes that Divine Force that awakens our Passion and Gifts of Spirit, defined by the Maya as “lightning in the blood.” Like the Serpent, CHICCHAN is the Feeling of Knowing, a supernatural sense that comes with a Divine Revelation of the Truth. We’ve all felt it when our hearts are overcome by the experience when the bride walks down the aisle. The Feeling is compared to the Kundalini energy that rises from the root to the crown, leaving goosebumps, and hair standing on end. CHICCHAN symbolizes a Quickening of our Spirit. It is so common, most of the time we hardly give it a second thought. CHICCHAN can besir the “Blood to Speak” when we’re touched by the “Hand of God.”
HOLY OBSERVANCE: SERPENTINE DAY
8 Serpent/CHICCHAN is the Holy Day observed by the Maya as the Time to See and Acknowledge the Gift that is the power behind all our Supernatural Gifts of Knowing. CHICCHAN is associated with the Element of Fire and Serpentine Day is honored through the observance of the Sacred Ceremony of Fire. CHICCHAN restores a flame that burns in our heart by the Light of Truth. The meaning and purpose of the day is a celebration of Consciousness, faculties of Discernment given by Divine Design. CHICCHAN can share a Spiritual Experience that changes the course of our Life.
Our Feelings, like the Serpent, are the only way to Know the Divine Truth. We’re “all in our head” when we make a discernment from our mind of reason. Feelings present the Truth that we remember as a personal experience of Knowing. CHICCHAN guides our Gifts of Intuition and Gut Instincts. Our most Common experience is the Sense of “fight or flight.” We are inclined to follow the Truth we feel when we sense danger is near. Tracking our own thoughts and feelings is the only way to realize that CHICCHAN is a Force outside of our Self that is ignited from Above.

Greetings Kin,
“Serpent/CHICCHAN lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself.”
Tone 8 is the Holy Day of the trecena that begins the Transformation Phase of every 13-day trecena. WaxaJqib, the number 8 in the language of the Maya, means “pure spirit.” Tone 8 raises the Intention of Divine Justice, an end carried out by the “hand of God.”
CHICCHAN is the Power of the Feathered Serpent, Kulkulkan/Quezalcoatl that reflects the the Light of Truth directly from Above. CHICCHAN is the force of Light and Vibration that descends the stairs of El Castillo, the calendar pyramid in Chichen Itza. Shining the Light of our “Truth North” we can Feel the Truth of the Creator’s Highest Intention for our “I Am,” and a Divine Meaning and Purpose for our Life to be.
CHICCHAN is the force that turns us to our own Consciousness of the Creator, like a One and Only Chance to Live that Humans grasp in our “fox-hole prayers.” Divine Knowing is always an Experience we Feel.
Flint/ETZNAB is a Strike of Truth that sweeps our path clear for the future. Number 8 is the symbol of Abundance and Eternal Life. The Serpent holds the power to shed its old skin to expand, grow, as we are “born again.” The experience offers the Truth of a Divine Intervention.
CHICCHAN’s Truth is offered exactly when we need to know for a Divine Meaning and Purpose to save our Life. When Human attempts to conjure the Power for a Human end, the Power corrupts us absolutely. Human’s only right use of our Gifts of Spirit is to leave it in the Hands of the One Above. Divine Powers are only for us to Know, what the Creator can and will do to save our Life and to move us to the end of our Dreams.
In the 8th Hour we’ve taken in all the Light of the Zenith Hour. Our Divine Justice is seeing how the Truth will always change us and lead us in the right direction. “By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart. Serpent aligns authority and the truth to bring justice that is quick and sure.”
Serpent/CHICCHAN holds position 5, the symbol of Empowerment. This is a day to pay attention to your gut instincts and the Truth you Know you Know, regardless of the evidence you hold to prove it. CHICCHAN can strike out and speak on your behalf when you’re backed into a corner. You’ll know if “God did the talking” if your face turns red, and nothing could stop the words of Truth coming out of your mouth. The Serpent can teach us to be fluid and flexible. Don’t take the words back if you spoke the Truth. Just retreat in peace and let the Truth speak for itself.
To all my relations, may we draw close to the Fire that Burns us within. The Ego’s instinct is to run away from the feelings. We’ve run too far from Spirit when we don’t feel the Truth anymore. Our only hope for Salvation is Feeling the Truth between us. The Key to the Kingdom is the Wisdom to Forgive. When the fire burns as anger, we’re only covering up the Truth of our own doubts and fears. The Ego casts off the feelings by blaming someone else. Today we can See Clearly the Truth that lies within to know the Truth of who we are now, and everything our Heart reaches to be.
May we give thanks for Divine Truth that can only be shared from Above. May the Truth that burns set us back on our feet. The Elders say that when you feel the burning within, don’t run. Sit by the Fire that hurts the Ego, and Divine Medicine of Healing will complete the work from Above. To create the Channel for the Communion of “pure spirit,” the flesh must be burned away to create the “hollow bone.”
The world reflects a “zombie apocolypse,” Humans that have no feelings, doing whatever they please as if there are no consequences. That’s not the Truth. Evil has torn us apart, the snake of “a devil’s lie.” We’ve watched millions die and it didn’t mean a thing. Now, anything goes and the children’s lives and futures are at stake.
Robert Browning’s story, “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” shares the truth of what happens to the children when the devil isn’t paid the misery that’s overdue. Next, the zombie children will be coming for you. Only a Divine Hand can carry out the war between Good and Evil. The Creator’s Word holds the promise of Divine Justice. We have nothing to Fear but the Power of God.
in lak’ech, I am another you

The 7th Uinal of Balance
CORE DAYS: The 7th Uinal of the Tzolk’in represent the center column of 20-days, which carry the Intention of Balancing. In the Center we are returned to Unity with the whole as our sense of duality comes into balance. The Maya believed this to be the axis mundi – the center of the world that connects Heaven and Earth, where the four directions meet; where communication from lower realms may ascend to higher ones and blessings from higher realms may descend to lower ones and be disseminated to all. The Core Days may be experienced as a time of personal mystery as we recreate ourselves.
Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eights carefully weighs all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement ‘as above, so below,’ from simplicity to infinity, the energy of eight organizes all levels of creation, some eights are ‘neat freaks.’
Serpent/CHICCHAN: Movement and the creation of time. Sensual and dramatic, this sun sign embodies intense instinctual wisdom and creates a connection from Earth bound, to Heavenly aspirations. By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart. Serpent aligns authority and the truth to bring justice that is quick and sure. Serpents are very adaptable, even fluid until trapped in a corner, and then they explode. Serpents, venomous temper poisons itself as well as others by creating resentful, suppressive and even destructive attitudes.
Cherokee, Serpent/DO’TSI: Serpent’s symbol is Constellation Serpens. Serpent people are Sky people who come to earth periodically as Educators. As above-So below, on Earth the Serpent is the roots of the tree of knowledge. Serpent power is vital energy, the moving force, the instinct and desire for creativity, the trigger that sets off the action. It lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself. Knowledge, combining science, technology and psychology, plus spirituality are seeded on the planet through the descending Light of the Serpent.
