ADVICE TO THE LOVELORN: The Monkey Business and Divine Alchemy to Heal the Emotions

Monkey/CHUEN is the Divine Creator who can turn a sow’s ear into a thing of Beauty. He always brings the Dog along for a demonstration.

I’m sure your ideas are better than mine, but at least it’s a start.

SO WHO INFLICTED THE WORST DAMAGE?

Mother?
If you can’t THINK of anything good, remember her best recipe. That’s what the Dog would do.
If she didn’t cook at all, imagine all the lousy meals she had to eat out. Or, maybe all the dishes she had to do after you were gone?
Then, remember how much she must have had on her mind, and the pain of her failure she’ll never forget – and send her a blessing.

Father?
Did he EVER play Santa Claus? Or, maybe it was better when he was never around.  He thought he had all the time in the world.
Seems like it’s hardest for Dad’s to say I’m sorry. I bet he’s thought about it at least once and thinks it’s too late now.

If either of them were heavy handed, God’s evened the score for every childhood misery.
If you lived through it, be glad it’s over, and maybe tell God it’s okay if they get a break.
If you are a parent, you know that failures were inevitable.

Siblings?
Remember one time you looked up to them, or they looked up to you. Chances are that half of the trouble was Mom and Dad’s fault.
Give thanks to God that we never forget the best memories. They are bound to remember one too.
If they were especially bad, remember how it must haunt their life. Ask God to give them at least a minute off. Who knows what happened to them that they hope you’ll never know.

Friends?
It was good while it lasted. Give thanks that for a little while, ignorance was bliss. The world is a hard place. We’ve all screwed up, sometimes so bad, we’re afraid to turn back to see.

Grandfathers and Grandmothers?
If THEY were the problem their whole life must have been really screwed up. By the time they figure it out, they know it will be too late.
They must have dreamed at your beginning that you were a second chance for Love.

Lovers?
Forgive the ones that never lived up to your expectations. Maybe you weren’t honest with yourself if you could never turn them into someone else. Or, maybe you thought they could fix your life, before you knew you had to fix yourself. (Forgive yourself for all the red flags you refused to  see.)

YOURSELF?
Forgive all the time it takes to learn how to love. Forgive all the things you had to screw up to learn. Forgive yourself for letting people walk all over you. They didn’t like it either. Forgive every stupid thing you had to learn the hard way. Give thanks that you learned it anyway.

THOSE ARE THE KINDS OF SACRIFICES WE HAVE TO MAKE TO LOVE OUR SELF AND LIVE AGAIN.

We only have to ASK to see some reason to forgive and the magic of healing can begin.
The Most Common reason for everything that happens to us is that none of us really know what we’re doing until the damage is done.

AND MOST OF ALL – If the worst is still going on, RUN LIKE HELL, and Give Thanks that the One Above will lead you to the best place to go. And, when you get there, count your blessings.

6  Offering/MULUC (Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA)

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.

Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA:  The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven.  The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon.  Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand.  People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything.  These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces.  The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues.  When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level.  As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
