Greetings Beloved Kin:
Night/AKBAL is the Light that Burns in the Darkness, by Cherokee tradition, The Hearth of home and The Hearth of heaven. AKBAL is the “Dreamer that believes in the Dream.”
The glyph illustrates the veil drawn back to see the Light that shines in the darkness, imposed on the face of the Monkey/CHUEN. CHUEN holds position 11, as the Human Creator.
AKBAL holds the potential for a mystical experience as it reveals the inner workings of the mind. Thoughts are separated… our Conscious and Unconscious thoughts, thoughts of Reason and Imagination, and Memories of Past and Future Dreams.
AKBAL days can feel like being lost in a dream. We may wake with a Dream on our pillow. The ending was beautiful, but now lost in our memories. Trying to remember, the thought can hang over the day like a cloud. AKBAL can present a “dark night of the soul.”
Wind/IK is the Creator’s Voice we hear in the Light of Day. AKBAL is the Voice that speaks in our Dreams.
Tone 10 raises the Intention of Manifestation. Our greatest challenge for any Creation is believing in the end of our Dreams. The only way is to claim the Truth for our self of the possibility that lies in our future. AKBAL is the “lord of the Day” as the Voice of the One Above that shares the way to Remember and the Truth to believe in our Dreams.
AKBAL holds the Element of Water as Spirit that moves through the Heart. We are blessed through the Gift of Living Water. Residing in the West, we exist in the place of darkness from which all Dreams are Born.
AKBAL is aligned with all the traditions of the Hearth of Home and the Hearth of Heaven. The Vestal Virgins of Roman tradition tended the Eternal flame, the source of Fire that was carried to every home. Hestia, is the virgin Goddess of Home and Sanctuary by Greek mythology.
“As a hearth goddess, Hestia was also known for her hospitality. If a stranger came calling and seeking sanctuary, it was considered an offense against Hestia to turn the person away. Those who followed her were obligated to provide shelter and food to anyone truly in need. It was also emphasized that female guests given sanctuary were not to be violated—again, a grave offense against Hestia.
Because of her role over the hearth, she was allocated a special role in household ritual. Cicero, the first-century Roman rhetorician, wrote,
‘The name Vesta comes from the Greeks, for she is the goddess whom they call Hestia. Her power extends over altars and hearths, and therefore all prayers and all sacrifices end with this goddess, because she is the guardian of the innermost things. Closely related to this function are the Penates or household gods.’
Plato points out that Hestia is theologically significant because she is the one who is invoked, and to whom sacrifices are made, before any other deity in ritual.” Source: LearnReligions.com
By Christian tradition, the Eternal Flame is symbolized by the candles at the altar. Maudy Thursday is the sacred ceremony before Easter when all the candles are extinguished and the altar is stripped bare to imagine the darkness that would be without the Light of a Savior. It’s a very moving ceremony.
Luke 1:37 – Elijah and Fire From Heaven.
The Voice in Elijah’s dream said:
37 For nothing will be impossible with God.” 37 For the word of God will never fail. ” 37 Nothing, you see, is impossible with God.”
AKBAL is the darkness of the void from which all Dreams are brought to Light. We are called to willingly enter the darkness to know the Dream of our Heart’s Desire – the Dream that was written within the Heart of Every Seed of Life. Human never knows what we’ve got until it’s gone. You may remember a long lost Dream that you held in the beginning. From Human’s mind of reason, you already discerned the truth that “it’s too late now.” Along with that thought you may imagine all the reasons why as the choices you made that lie in your memories of the past.
This is a day to share the Dream that lies lost in the deepest corners of your heart. Human has no words on AKBAL for the prayer we share straight from the heart.
The Hearth is the Eternal Flame that burns in the realm of Spirit, tended by the Archangels, our Guardian Angel, and the Legion of Light made of all the Masters of Faith that walked this way before. They fan the embers of our long lost dreams into the Fire of the Eternal Flame. Allow yourself to remember the Dreams you held when you were first starting out on the journey of your life. Humble yourself to the Highest One to express all the reasons you think it’s the Truth.
Listen for the Voice within that will speak – in complete sentences – the very words you need to hear. Remember, the Lord of ALL Creation is always by our side. The Lord is the witness to every moment and knows the Truth of everything we need to hear. Beyond all our Human limitations, the Creator saw every burden we carried that was imposed by the Choices of Human’s Free Will. We all had reasons for the foolish choices we made. They were never all our fault.
May we light a candle and enter again into the Sanctuary of our Spirit where it’s safe to share the Truth of Everything. In a Divine Confession without words, may we claim the words we hear are True, and Remember the Promise of Unconditional Love.
love, in lak’ech, i am another you,

Descriptions shared by Ian Xel Lungold
Galactic Tone 10: Manifestation. What were once intentions or ideas, hopes or fears become physically present with the energy of Ten. What is focused upon with attention and intention becomes real with Ten. Ten is a powerful energy that carries a great responsibility.
Night/Akbal: Bringers of the Dawn. Dreamers who bring the new sun to clarify and illuminate the road of life. Thus the insecurities and doubts born of darkness of the sub-conscious mind are dispelled. These persons travel the Void. a place where nothing yet exists but all potential dwells, the womb of creation. From this void, Night persons bring forth new solutions and artistic inspiration. Night’s voyages of dreams build confidence and happiness with a sense of well being. If night does not bravely journey into the void they may find themselves wandering the darkness of self doubt and insecurity.
Cherokee, Hearth/O’YA: Hearth’s symbol is the fire pit in the Center, velvet black as the night. The triangle in Orion. The M42 nebula (home of the Central race from the WingMakers) in the center of the triangle of Orion is the fire in the Hearth, also matching the Mayan. The Hearth is the Torchbearer who holds the light and warmth throughout the night.
