9 Eagle / MEN
Greetings Beloved Kin,
Number 9 is a symbol of completion of Divine Trinity. 9 is the whole investment in the “lower place” to manifest the “higher one” (10). When expressed as 3 x 3, 9 reflects the exponential power of Trinity Above and Below.
Peak Tone 9 holds the Intention of Patience to see the Bigger Picture. We’re inspired to stand back to see our creation when it’s finished and we’ve invested our heart in the work. When the creation is not a work of Love, we aren’t so inclined to see what we’ve done. Tone 9 comes with the warning that there could be suffering to bear for lack of insight, when we fail to take this step.
This is a step we could take at the end of every day to hold our self accountable to the Deer’s Mission to Love. Our failures and limitations weigh heavy in our unconscious thoughts. Whether we look to see them or not, we know and we remember. When we’re willing to look at the whole picture in humility for our failures, the Creator will remind us of the promise of Unconditional Love for every offering of the Truth. The Atonement promised for every offering is to see our self the way we’re seen from Above.
Eagle/MEN is the nahaul that holds the Highest Hopes and the Highest Aspirations. Human will always fall short of perfection. That doesn’t mean we’re not “enough.” When we’re dedicated to the Divine Mission of Love, the One Above knows, and will lend a Hand to help us carry on.
The Eagle shares the vision to clearly see the Dream in the future, knowing our Highest Intentions always lie within our grasp. The Eagle holds the Destiny of an Intermediary to help us see when we’ve invested our self as a Hand below in service to the Higher One. Human is bound to fall short, but we know the Truth when we’ve invested our Heart in the Cause. The Bigger Picture reveals the Truth of Cause and Effect.
The Universal Laws uphold the Intention to Love as the Golden Rule. We don’t have to see the prize slipping farther away every time we fail. We always learn something along the way. We more than make up for every setback when we continue to carry on.
The only thing that prevents an Eagle from grasping the prize is the Choice to fly away. Guided by our Ego, it’s easy to think we’ll never reach the end. The Eagle’s shadow is the self-doubt that leads to the energy of competition. We may think someone else will “finish” our dream before we can reach the end. That’s when the Eagle can give up and use any means possible to escape the thoughts of failure. We can’t see clearly when we keep our doubts and fears hidden inside. When we’re willing to share the whole Truth with the Creator, the Creator will help us Remember.
Eagle/MEN lies in the West, the direction of our Unknown Future. Whenever we’re standing in the Fear of the Unknown, the Answer is always right in front of our face. From the West, we’re facing the East – where the Sun rose with the Divine Inspiration that led us to Dream. When we remember our Dreams were inspired from Above, it can make sense that every Dream has our name on it.
If the Creator’s Highest Order is the Golden Rule, the Higher One would never make us complete for the same Dream. Even if it looks the same, no one else will ever carry it out Our Way. If someone completes a similar Dream, we can still be inspired by something more we can bring to the table. The Truth is only a matter of holding a Divine Perspective for the good of the whole.
We could hold the world’s record for the fastest mile. If we do it for the glory of our own Ego, we’ll fear anyone who may follow. If we’re doing it to prove what Humans can do, we will always be part of the story when someone else reaches the next higher end. The Mission of Love is not a competition, but a relay race carried on by every new generation.
If another Human chooses to make it a competition, they are guaranteed to lose the race by breaking the Golden Rule. When we choose to run together for a Divine Cause, we’ll both win the Gold Medal in a tie at the end. We both win when we’re helping one another. And there will be an even greater prize when the Creator sees the sacrifice of our Ego for the sake of Love. We can’t lose as long as we carry on with our eyes focused on the Prize of Love.
The Eagle flies by Intuition, leaning into the Divine Truth as the Wind at our back. The Eagle doesn’t have to see the prize at the end, only a speck of a distinctive color of fur nearly two miles away. The Eagle aims at the “X” that marks the spot and never looks away. You won’t see an Eagle flying that’s looking back over its shoulder.
Eagles don’t fly with smaller birds. They fly with their help-mate, or they choose to fly alone. It doesn’t matter whether we have a helper in the realm below, when a Hand Above is always with us to guide Our Way. The Golden Rule is the Promise that we will all reach our highest end.
Holding the Element of Water, the Creator will speak through our Heart. Dare to Soar like an Eagle. Hold fast to your Highest Hopes and Aspirations, even if all you know is a Feeling you can win. We Know when a Dream is within our grasp. We can tell when it’s a matter of Time to carry it out. All our Dreams are a matter of Time when we Love the End. The Creator shared the Inspiration for all the Dreams we Love, when the Sun rose in the East. Look to the East to Remember the way all your Dreams began with the Light of a Higher Way you imagined to live for today.
With every Sunrise, look to the West at the beginning to remember the closer you get, the more you’re likely to forget how you started. When you follow the Way of the Deer, you’ll remember, with the Time you dedicated to spend at an altar sharing an Offering of Humility and Gratitude for another day, and everything you are learning along the way.
The end of every Dream is higher than we imagined from the beginning. It’s better to mark the end with an “X” or we’re likely to think we’ve made it before we reach the end that only the Creator could imagine. The Truth and the Promise of Unconditional Love will always lead us to the way.
love, in lak’ech, i am another you

YAY – It’s my Mayan birthday. The Gift is a Personal Burner Day, releasing something from the past that was weighing us down.
(There are 4 Personal Burners Days: one on our Mayan birthday, and again every 65 days, after. You can chart your own burners. They fall on the same Tone as your Mayan birthday, and the same color.)
THE JAGUAR’S EARTH MAGIC OF GRATITUDE:
I’m grateful for the promise of releasing a load off my heart and mind. My Destiny is the Deer’s mission to carry on for me and you to prove what the Higher One can do.

9 Eagle/MEN (Eagle/UWO’HATLI)
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold
Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.
Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.
Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Eagle’s symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation. Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth, a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance.
