HOLY OBSERVANCE: CELEBRATION & INITIATION OF THE MAYAN PRIEST

Greetings Beloved Kin,

8 Deer/MANIK

Peak Tone 8 begins the Transformation phase of the 13-day trecena. Number 8 is a symbol of life and abundance to infinity. The Mayan word for Number 8, WAXAJQIB, is defined as “pure Spirit.” Tone 8 holds the Intention of Justice in Harmony and Equity with the whole. The 8th hour of Light is the Zenith Hour, beyond the Center of Human’s creation on the 7th Day of the 7 days and 6 nights (13 days).

8 Deer/MANIK is exalted in the Light of Divine Justice, the balance of Zero. The Celebration of the Mayan priest honors the one who carries on in the darkness and the Light. The Deer is a symbol of standing in the Truth of Integrity. To stand in Right Relationship with the whole, we have to admit that we are no better and no worse. We earn the Crown for carrying on. The priest carries on to Know the Truth of Salvation and the Righteousness of a Divine Intention to be the Hand Below that serves the Hand Above.

James 1:12 NIV
12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

The glyph illustrates the Hand, another name for MANIK, grasping a thread of Ether that completes a circuit of Divine Power where our hearts are welded to the One Above. The circle on the Hand represents the Vigilant Eye of the Deer. The Deer is a symbol of stability with a leg to stand in each of the 4 directions. Vigilance is the only way for our own Faith to stand through every experience of Life and know Beauty that lies in the Balance of Zero.

Algiz – Symbol of the Sage, the Deer’s Mission, and the Tree of Life.

It’s easy enough to hold Faith when we stand in the Center of Blessings that flow all around. It’s a Divine and Vulnerable place to be. If Blessings were all we knew, we’d forget. Before long, we’d face a test of Pride when we accept all the credit. The Heart of Sky doesn’t test us. Life is the test. We prove the Truth of our Faith to our self, through our perseverance through the trials of life. We also prove the Love of the One Above, when the end is beyond our imagination, beyond what we would claim to deserve for all our Human limitations.

There’s no greater happiness than knowing we carried on in Faith, knowing our Heart was True to the One Above.  When we’re dedicated to the purpose, we Know the Truth of a Promise is ours to claim. We Feel the Truth in our Heart that we offered the best we could bring as an Offering to the One Above. The sacred exchange for every Offering is an Atonement, Oneness that we Feel as the Truth that, united we’ll stand to the end of Time.

MANIK holds the Spiritual Tools of Spirit. The One Truth that is the Staff of Life is the Promise of a Divine Provision for every Human limitation. We don’t have to be perfect to claim the prize. We only need to lean to the One Above as the Divine Answer for everything.

Today we are blessed to see the Beauty of the Darkness of the Unknown, equal to the Beauty of Light of Knowing. Faith is the Offering that proves our Love and Wisdom in the Truth Above.

Psalms 18:28-30 NIV
You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.

A Blessing to the Element of Water at the Wesak Moon

The Wesak Moon is a celebration of the birth and death of the Buddha, a “world teacher,” and a symbol of the Savior that carried on to offer a blessing of Light to the World. This year the Blessing falls on a Scorpio Moon, a juxtaposition of the Darkness hidden within brought to the Light. The 8 precepts define the Only Way to Know and Feel the Truth in our Heart.

Deer/MANIK holds the Element of Water in synchronicity with the Wesak celebration that is an Illumination offered as the Living Water of Spirit. In all the ways we’ve failed to carry our Mission to its highest end, we’ll realize how much we are Loved by the Heart of Sky. Kneeling in Humility to the Only Perfect One, we’ll be transformed by the Hand that will hold us to the Ends of Time. Facing the Truth of “all we are” and “all we are not” we will Feel the Truth of Unconditional Love. Our darkness will be transformed by the Truth and the Light of Unconditional Love.

This Holy Day offers the Miracle of Knowing the Power of Love and the Faith to carry on.

Pesach Sheni is the Holy Day on the Hebrew calendar, which began at sundown on Thursday, 4 May 2023 and ends at nightfall on Friday, 5 May 2023. Pesach Sheni is referred to as the Second Passover, 30 days beyond the first Passover. Pesach Sheni means “Second Passover [Sacrifice].” It marks the day when someone who was unable to participate in the Passover offering in the proper time would observe the mitzvah exactly one month later. Pesach Sheni symbolizes a Second Chance, achieved by teshuvah, the power of repentance and “return.” Source: Chabbad.org

The Astrology of the Scorpio Moon is about dredging up the past to bring all our unseen darkness to the Light. Our “shadow work” is the test of Faith that transmutes the darkness into light. Our hidden resentments offer a place for evil to manifest as pride. A Divine Illumination can bring all things to Light. We are no better or worse. How many second chances did we need to finally stand in the Faith to Believe and Know what we Feel today?

Forgiveness is the Way to bring Light to the world and through our own expression of Faith that ALL darkness WILL BE returned to the Light of Knowing the Truth. Truth is the issue at hand. We’ve been presented with our worst fears, that Artificial Intelligence could forever corrupt our empirical evidence of the Truth. The Only Truth that CAN stand is our Faith in the Highest One, and the Truth of the One Promise that will always be the answer to everything.

May we face the Truth within to restore the Balance of Zero, a Love that covers every darkness that could ever be. May we give thanks for the Truth that WILL be and the Second Harvest that will bring the Truth to Light for everyone who claims a Second Chance to Live and Love again.

As Deer/MANIK is exalted in its highest Light of Truth may we Repent the Sins we harbor as resentments for all the hard times imposed on one another by us all. May we claim a door that’s opened for all to pass through to a Divine Life on the “otherside” of the dark ways we celebrated  in the past. If we’re honest, we were all prideful in the moments we thought we were better than the rest. We were all the Chosen Ones. We’ll all have a Second Chance as long as there’s another Breath. While we’re living is the Only Chance to earn the Crown of the Hero and a Savior on behalf of the whole.

The Heart of Sky is forever with us in the Here and Now to win the battle between Good and Evil. May we be tested and find our self pure by the Intentions of our Spirit, and made Righteous by the Mission to Love.

Divine Protection: The Truth of our Faith is the Crown, our Helmet of Salvation. The Righteousness of our Divine Cause is the shield that covers the Heart.

May we celebrate the Truth of every Faith and Tradition as a Divine Army from every Time and Place that is kneeling together in Faith and Humility to serve one another as the Hand below, welded to the Power of the Highest One. May we claim the Only King as the One who holds our hand, and kneel to receive the Crown of our Salvation.

May the first be last, and the last be first, as the ones that walked the hardest road of all.

love, in lak’ech,

Debra, 9 Eagle/MEN

8 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold, 12 Sun/AHAU

Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weigh all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “As above, so below”. From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. Some Eights are “Neat Freaks”.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer:  A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician.  Ability to create harmonic resonance.
