Sevenfold Spirit: The Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit

The Sevenfold Spirit of God

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Seven was symbolic in ancient near eastern and Israelite culture and literature. It communicated a sense of “fullness” or “completeness” (שבע “seven” is spelled with the same consonants as the word שבע “complete/full”). This makes sense of the pervasive appearance of “seven” patterns in the Bible.  Source: the BibleProject.com

Isaiah 11:2–3 (NASB)Including the Spirit of the Lord, and the Spirits of wisdom, of understanding, of counsel, of might, of knowledge and of fear of the LORD, here are represented the seven Spirits, which are before the throne of God.

In the Bible, scholars claim that God created the world in six days and used the seventh day to rest. Because of this, the number seven is used to illustrate an idea of completeness throughout the Bible. In both Islam and Judaism, there are seven heavens. Source: Readers Digest

Fearing the Creator is an acknowledgement of Power and Authority. Knowing what the Creator can do, keeps us on the path that leads to our Divine Destiny.

In an “another life” I was a bank auditor. The job included random audits of the teller’s cash drawers. I was taught that though it may not seem like a pleasant exercise, it was a blessing to those who have to handle money everyday. We are ALL subject to temptation. Without oversight, it’s easy to take chances contrary to good judgement when we think we can “get away with it.” That’s at least one lesson I learned about Fear imposed for a worthy purpose.

Tone 7 is represented by the perspective seen from the top of the pyramid – the Truth all around, as “all that is” and “all that is not.” We can avoid seeing the Truth of the Ego’s influence to take “the easy way out” – instead of Acting in Faith to Ask for everything we need, knowing whatever we receive is a Divine Provision for our Human limitations.

Ian Lungold said that the point is to look at the facts of any matter that are right in front of us to discern the Truth… not, what we think about it. Those are the Human emotions that can rule us and keep us blinded by distraction from the Truth that is staring us in the face.  That’s what the Gifts of Spirit are all about, “knowing what is” without the influence of “how we feel about it.”

The Truth always sets us free by the clarity of a choice we can make to change our self without imposing any expectations on anyone else. “It just is what it is,” and that’s the Truth that can guide us to make the wisest choices for our self.

“See no evil, Hear no evil, and Speak no evil” doesn’t mean we don’t see the Truth. It means we don’t apply a discernment of evil to “whatever it is.” (Only God knows, and the Heart of Sky is the Only One who can enforce the Universal Law of Love.

Stepping stones of Faith in the Truth of the Creator’s Love and Divine Authority over all things, is a way to express our “healthy fears” that keeps us from falling into the deep waters by the influence of our Human emotions.

in lak’ech, i am another you

THE TRECENA OF TRANSFORMER/CIMI: BEFORE AND AFTER
MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

4 Offering/MULUC, Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA – Day 4 of 13 in the trecena of Transformer/CIMI, Change on the Scale of Death and Life

Galactic Tone 4: Stability; the cube is most stable of all forms and establishes volume by definition of height, length, depth and breadth; 4 directions establish orientation. The energy of 4 sets the parameters, which establish the freedoms and barriers needed to create a game, work, or relationship.

Offering/MULUC: Also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence making them excellent employers. Like a shaken vessel of water, Offering people regain equilibrium quickly. Also like a body of water, there may be deep undercurrents of emotion and hidden dangers. Others perceive these as hidden agendas in offering people and so extend them little trust and may even slap blame on them.

Cherokee, The River/YUN’WI GUNNAHI’TA:  The River is symbolized by The Milky Way, the Gihli’Utsun’stanun’yi “Where the Dog Ran” to gather the souls for Heaven.  The River is the minion for Grandfather Moon.  Long Man is the personification of the River stretching from the mountains to the lowlands, speaking to those who can understand.  People of this sign find “sermons in the stones” and good in everything.  These souls march to a different drummer, driven by inner volcanic forces.  The Moon controls our fluid cycle, to clear and understand emotional issues.  When you take this step to clear the emotional body, then you are ready for transformational energies at the next level.  As humans, our actions are ruled by our emotions, the key is to understand the connection and honor the emotions.
