Seed Planted by Mother Earth, tended by Heart of Sky

Surprise Outdoor Bouquet

Greetings Beloved Kin,

It’s always more fun to receive flowers by surprise. I didn’t try to plant a garden this year after spending a fortune on starts and the water to keep them alive through a major heat wave in Kansas. This year the temps are about 10 degrees (F) lower than average, and more than halfway through June, there’s still rain in the future forecast.

My prayers to those in Oklahoma, just south of me who were caught in the tornadoes in “tornado alley,” while I was loving the thunder and lightning in SE Kansas.

There must have been a variety of Sunflower seeds that fell from the bird feeder last year. The latest bloom broke new records, about 6 inches wide. And, now the little surprise garden is two feet taller – maybe 10 feet tall.

They remind me that the Heart of Earth and the Heart of Sky share the power of unexpected beauty together, and there’s a Divine Reason for the faces of the flowers to following the Sun across the sky. These faces are pointed to the East. It’s turned into an awesome little paradise for the birds and squirrels that visit for my daily offering at the feeder and scattered in the backyard.  (Off the beaten track of Route 66.)

They are the divine companions from Mother Nature that bring the Beauty of Love to me everyday, out my kitchen window. We’re never alone, when we’re close enough to share a divine communion with Mother Earth. If you can’t get to a window, you can watch it on YouTube.com. Those are also offerings I appreciate for the ones who take the time to spread the beauty around.

love, in lak’ech,

Debra, 9 Eagle/MEN
PS – Maybe next year I’ll  mount a web-cam out there so you can share the live-view.

It only takes a couple of minutes of this to turn any day around. 🙂

1 Road/EB (Human), Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA – Day 1 of 13 of the 1 Road/EB Trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold, 12 Sun/AHAU, from MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 1:  Unity. One is the beginning of all things, the first, the whole and the all in one. One’s are assertive and self-guided and give a good push to whatever project they are associated with. One persons work best when meeting a challenge. Do not expect One-persons to be attentive to details or to put the finishing touches on things.

Road/EB: The bearer of time and conductor of destiny; also known as Human; these persons open the road and guide to the future groups, communities and individuals alike. Likable, obedient, dedicated hard workers and organizers, Road persons are fortunate in business and travel. Many become care takers of the poor, sick, or old people, where they may make personal sacrifices. Road is sometimes referred to as the sign of grass, which is the most bountiful of all life forms, but is also the most humble. Road persons are affectionate and emphatic; they are easily hurt but slow to anger. Holding in of negative emotions and unexpressed resentment can lead to illness, a poisoned opinion of others and a false bravado for this sun sign.

A GOOD DAY TO: Do some Community Service. (Help someone else pack their stuff in the car, honor those who created road maps, and take pictures of others so their memories don’t all have to be selfies.)

Cherokee, Rattlesnake Tooth/KANU’GA: Symbolized by a rainbow, the delicate display of electromagnetic rays of the SUN. Rattlesnake Tooth is the Natal day sign of Medicine, the Shaman, the Priest, the Healer, and the Sorcerer.  Guardian of the Way, Keeper of the Keys of the secret Kingdom.
