Blue Super Moon Rising: Tonight, 99%; Tomorrow, 100%, 08/31/2023 (Depending on Location)

The Second Full Moon, a Blue Super Moon, is rising in its nearest position to Earth.

Tonight the Super Moon stations at 99% in its Waxing Gibbous phase. Super Moons are Super big and bright when they appear in their perigean position (ie. closest position to Earth). The Super Moon at 100% on August 31, 2023 marks the nearest moon to Earth of the year. November 25, 2025 is the next time the Moon will make such an appearance.  Super Moons raise the Perigean Spring Tides, named for tides that “spring forth,” not the Season of Spring.

The gravitational force of the Super Moon also raises the water table in Earth, as well as raising the living waters within that draw our feelings and emotions to their peak. That’s one explanation for the increased number of births that happen on Full Moons.

Mayan Time

Mayan Time is based on the Moon Phases, and the Tzolk’in count, based on Human’s gestation cycle, reflect the “meaning of time.” The Maya acknowedged that Time was an integral part of The Creation and an Order for experiences that raise the Truth that we are One with a  Divine Universe.

Today, 8 Seed/KAN is a Holy Day on the Tzolk’in calendar, a Sun calendar that reflects the hours of Light. Tone 8 symbolizes the zenith hour of Light. From the Sun’s brightest Light of Truth, the meaning for Time is to look within to see who we are becoming and what our Seed of Life is growing to be. Tomorrow, 9 Serpent/CHUEN reflects the Power of the Creator’s Spirit to speak through the Living Water of our Body and Soul as a Quickening of Spirit, the Maya call “lightning in the blood” – the “sixth sense” of the Heart.

The indigenous traditions acknowledge that all life and the movements of Earth are the substance of a Divine Conversation that reflects the Truth of the Highest One. The 4 directions of Earth share the Creator’s Truth of where we’re going and where we’ve been.

Today was ordered as Time for an Offering of Humility to the Lord of Creation for all our Heart Dreams to be, and the Truth of how far we have fallen short by our Human limitations. The Sacred Exchange is the Quickening that raises our Faith to believe in a Divine Provision that’s offered as a Power within from a Hand of Divine Agency.

Astrological Time

The Super Moon falls in Pisces reflecting the meaning of Astrology influenced by the Element of Water. Pisces represents the Water that raises our Spirit as it flows through the Heart, reaching for the Dream that was written in the Heart of Human’s Seed. By the gravity Above and Below on every scale of experience we are being drawn to the One Above, beyond all the stars. It’s Mayan Time to Ask the Creator for a Hand to make the Dreams that your Heart Desires to manifest, Below, on Earth’s plane of physicality. By Divine Design we were created to be enough to make our Dreams come truth, when our Intention – the Reason for Creation – is aligned in Trinity with the Universal Laws of Love. In Divine Trinity we position our selves for a Harvest of the Creator’s Divine Will for Justice in Harmony and Equity with the whole. The Golden Rule is the Divine Law that is enforced by the Universal Law of Justice, the law of cause and effect.

August 30: Blue Moon

In August, a second full Moon, a Blue Moon will make an appearance. The term Blue Moon is most commonly used when we have two full Moons in a single month. On Wednesday, August 30, the Full Moon will peak at 9:36 P.M.

This Full Moon is also a “Supermoon.” In fact, it’s the closest Supermoon of 2023. “Supermoon” is a catchy term for what astronomers call “a perigean full Moon” which is when the full Moon happens at or near its closest point to Earth in its oval-shaped orbit.

  • It’s exceptionally close in Moon miles from Earth (222,043 miles). The next time we’ll have a closer full Supermoon is November 5, 2025, when the moon lies 221,817 miles from Earth.
  • A supermoon exceeds the disk size of an average-sized Moon by up to 8% and the brightness of an average-sized full Moon by some 16%. You may not perceive the difference in size, but a supermoon will appear brighter in the sky.
  • A Supermoon can also cause higher tides than usual.

The Mayan Calendar Count of Days: Meaning of Time Today

The Maya are considered the “Masters of Time” by their wisdom in charting the orbits of all the planets. The Tzolk’in 260-day calendar charts Human’s “orbit” of repeating cycles. The Tzolk’in offers Signs and Synchronicities of “history repeating itself” every day of the 260 days of Human Time.

Interpretation of Time by Ian Xel Lungold, creator of the Gregorian calendar conversion calculator, who’s wisdom is preserved on MayanMajix.com

8 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon Ukte’na) –  Day 8 of 13 Days that were created by the One Above. in the 1 Earth/CABAN trecena that calls to our Heart to Life within.

Galactic Tone 8: Harmony and balance; weighing evidence to reach a balance of justice. The power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “as above, so below”; from simplicity to infinity

Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.

A GOOD DAY TO: Plant, make new contacts, connect with others.

Cherokee, Dragon Ukte’na: The Sky constellation Draco represents this sign. Dragon represents Matriarchy, the Great Mother Figure. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, the dual personality of both Corn Mother and Corn Maiden. This Sign is fertility and procreation, generation to generation.
