A Living Effigy of Creation

Greetings Beloved Kin,

8 Seed/KAN

Corn was the dynamic illustration of the Seed of Human Life as it was created to manifest abundance through every generation. “Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign.”

Every Seed of Corn raised to it’s potential can product 2 cobs with an average of 800 seeds. In the second generation, (800 x 2) 1,600 seeds can multiply to 1,600 x 2 x 800, to manifest a harvest of 2,560,000 Seeds. In the third-generation there are seeds enough to plant a field of corn to product a harvest beyond imagination or human’s faculty to count one by one (2,560,000 x 2 x 800= 4,096,000,000).

The Life passed down through the ages holds an exponential value to manifest abundance beyond our wildest dreams, when Unconditional Love was the meaning of every Life Story from the beginning.  When we uphold the Truth of the Highest Potential for every Seed of Life, the Love that can grow in our future is a number beyond measure.

Luke 6:37-38 – Do Not Judge
37 Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Peak Tone 8 is the Holy Day of every trecena representing the Zenith Hour of Light. Tone 8 holds the Intention of Divine Justice in Harmony and Equity for the whole. The Mayan word for number 8, WAXAJQIB (wah shah keeb), is defined as “pure spirit.” Our Spirit is purified by the Truth, As Above, So Below. The Time is ordered from Above as a mystery beyond all possibility for Human to know until our final breath.

This is a Day ordered to Look to See the Truth of who we are intended to be by Divine Design, and all the conditions that are right for Our Seed to reach it’s highest potential to create abundance that overflows.

In the Zenith Hour the Sun illuminates what was veiled by shadows and hidden in plain sight. On days guided by Seed/KAN we are given the Eyes to See clearly and the Intention to Look within. We are the Living crop of Life given the Sacred Right to choose to plant our self where we can raise our self to be a blessing for every generation that follows.

Today is 12 Mol by the Northern count of the Haab’s vague-year calendar of 365 days. There are 20 days in each month of the Haab, except the last month that is the Wayeb of 5 days. The 20-day months are counted 0-19, so 12 Mol is the 13th day of the month. Mol (meaning Water or Jade) was observed as “a month to make wooden effigies of the gods. Wood was chosen with care and carving was done with ceremony and blood letting. Carvers worked continuously, their families bringing them food and water, until the images were complete.”  Source for Meaning of the Haab Months

Earth/CABAN leads the cycle of knowing who we are becoming and a clarion call to live with all our heart. Our Life is Living Effigy born of our own “blood, sweat, and tears” invested in the Creation of our Highest Offering of Spirit to the Lord of All Creation. Because the Investment is a Choice, the Life we intend to create is a manifestation of the Truth in our Heart.

The Zenith Hour of Light can reflect the Divine End that we could create through the Choice to fashion our own Life after the Choices that are made clear by the Light of the Highest One. KAN is the “dragon energy” that is the Spark of Knowing within every Seed. If we look within to our own Feelings that are True (not our human emotions), we can Know the conditions that support our journey to Life and Blessings to Abundance.

Every Seed is born Free of Karma so that no obligation to anyone else could stand in our way of the Offering intended for the Highest One. Seed/KAN reminds us we HAVE to say “No” to anything less than the Divine Conditions to Live and Grow.

Corn of Many Colors: Glass Gem Corn

Seed/KAN resides in the South, the direction (below) of our Relationships with one another and with the Natural World. The Laws of Nature apply to all things living on Earth. The South is the direction that teaches us the Truth of Right Relationship. Every one was given their own Life to Live. The challenge is our Human emotions, and the Ego’s desire to manifest relationships by the world’s rules of success. One is incompatible with the other. It’s hard to say “no” when we depend on one another for our happiness. When we depend only on the Highest One, we’ll have more than enough blessings to share.

The Seed is a symbol of our potential for abundance, as if “cast by a net.” Those born with the Destiny Kin of Seed/KAN grow up to be the care-takers of the elderly and affirmed, who are incapable of taking care of themselves. It’s Divine to say “yes” to Compassionate Love when we share as  a Divine Choice that’s beyond an obligation. But, first we have to grow to maturity on our own “stalk” to create the blessings that multiply to abundance.

Blood is the “living water” within that is a Divine Sacrifice. The Elders say that we should take notice whenever we see our own blood. Stop to think about what’s going on in the realm of Spirit. Divine Justice beyond “what we deserve” to receive requires a sacrifice to uphold the Intention of Harmony and Equity for the whole. When our blood spills, we may be paying the price for a blessing that is beyond the price we could pay.

One way to keep from spilling a lot of blood is to honor the ancestors with an altar, where we can bring our offerings for the blessings they helping us to manifest from the “other side.” It is always worthy to remember “where we came from” and the “blood, sweat and tears” that have been invested in our Life from the generations that came before. We do have an obligation to them under the Intention of the “Christ Spirit” (MULUC) that guides us to Give Back and to Pay Forward every Offering of Love.

On the 13th Day of Mol, and the Holy Day of the Earth/CABAN trecena we can look within to know the Love passed down that was intended to be carried on. We were given the Power to fashion our Self and our Life to share a living testimony to all the Love that came before through every Wise Choice we make to Give Back and Pay Forward the blessing of Love and Forgiveness.

There are Divine Reasons to say “no” when that’s the way to uphold the Life that was intended to be a living demonstration for the way of Right Relationship to carry on.

We have to “let go” of everything in our life that can’t serve the Creator’s HIGHEST Intentions for Love, no matter the price we may have to pay in the world. When we Know Love is the Truth we long to Create and the Reason Why we are creating abundance our Heart will know the Truth that the Hand of Divine Agency will guide us to our end.

The Greatest Commandment was to 1) serve the Lord with all our Heart and Mind, and 2) to Love One Another as we Love our Self. We have to Love our Self just as much as we Love one another. We have to Love our Self to grow to our Highest Potential to Love One Another and to be a Blessing to the Whole.

There is a Time for everything. By the Time of the Tzolk’in round, Now is the Time to Love our Self as the First Priority as we are Creating the Seed of our own next higher generation of Love. There will be Time enough to share when we’ve Created the our Own life as it was meant to be. That is the legacy we have the potential to share so our children, and our children’s children will know the Sacred Right to choose their own Life to create the conditions they need to grow.

Our Only Hope is to kneel in Humilty to the Highest One for the Time that seems to take SO LONG for us to Grow into the Highest Version of our Self. The Earth/CABAN trecena that began in the 8th uinal is the Light to See how we are growing and to see who we are becoming. What greater offering could we know than a Time we were given to Love our Self for a Divine Reason to Grow.

By Divine Order it’s always Time to Count our Blessings. There’s not enough Time in a lifetime to count them all. We can start by counting the blessings of our the Divine Design for our physicality… all the ways our body serves us to support Life on Earth. I’m always drawn first to the Truth of the way our Body heals itself, then to my hands and feet. Though, the Greatest Offering is a Heart that Feels the Creator’s Truth and all the conditions of our Life, and the Mind that can conceive and create a Relationship with a Lord of Creation with powers beyond all Human comprehension.

Wishing you all the Light that you need to see how beautiful every Life can be when we make the Choice we CAN See is the Wisest thing to do. Some steps are easy and some are very hard. The Creator’s sacred exchange for our hardest steps is the Knowledge of Love multiplied to Abundance, and a Divine Provision for every Human limitation. It’s not so hard when we see the Big Picture and know a Divine Reason why.

May we gather the Love to our Heart and Spirit that we need to grow, Ask, and Follow the Creator’s way that calls to our heart. May we give thanks for and honor all the different ways we reach together… and the Time it takes to learn.

love, in lak’ech,

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide Page for the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” My gift for the Tzolk’in round offers an overview for each 13-day trecena and the aspects of each day of the Tzolk’in round. The page also offers a link to resources for your own practice of counting the days to conceive your own discernment of the Meaning of Time.

NEW SEASON – VOLUME 2: Tzolk’in Seasons 3 and 4 (PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 20, 2020)

NOTE: You can also look at dates from a different direction. What is the Destiny Kin number of your day sign’s 3rd tone? You may have overlooked a life-changing day. Use the Kin Calculator offered on the Daykeeper’s Resource Page for a date six years before or after. If you are just starting to count the days and don’t have a journal from the last round, when something major happens in your life you can look to see if there was a major event on that same date before. You can also look for Signs in the “distance of time” – the number of days between one day and another, from the Time and Date Calculator linked on the resources page. Example – 33 days is a symbol of a day that you actualize the Truth from the beginning date.

8 Seed/KAN (Cherokee, Dragon Ukte’na) –  Day 8 of 13 Days that were created by the One Above. in the 1 Earth/CABAN trecena that calls to our Heart to Life within.

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 8: Harmony and balance; weighing evidence to reach a balance of justice. The power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “as above, so below”; from simplicity to infinity

Seed/KAN: Family, sexual activity and the magic of germination are the characteristics of this sun sign. Natural net workers, Seed people strive to free themselves and others from debt or oppressive patterns of the past. Abundance is gathered by Seeds as if with a cast net. Seed persons are public defenders who work toward uniting community by discovering hidden traps and secret influences of others. To generate true abundance, Seed must learn to appreciate all gifts and lessons received and conduct profound investigations into its self. In the absence of gratefulness and the courage to face oneself, Seed finds itself in less than less fertile environments.

A GOOD DAY TO: Plant, make new contacts, connect with others.

Cherokee, Dragon Ukte’na: The Sky constellation Draco represents this sign. Dragon represents Matriarchy, the Great Mother Figure. Dragon is the Corn Spirit, the dual personality of both Corn Mother and Corn Maiden. This Sign is fertility and procreation, generation to generation.
