WISDOM: History that Repeats Itself with Every Generation

Ian Xel Lungold was a direct descendant of “Johnny Appleseed” aka John Chapman, born September 26, 1774. Besides planting apple trees, John was a missionary who shared divine wisdom, leaving tracts behind from faith of the The New Church, influenced by the writings of scientist and mystic Emanuel Swedenborg.  “Swedenborgian organisations acknowledge what they believe to be the universal nature of God’s church: all who do good in accordance with the truth of their religion will be accepted into heaven (since God is goodness itself), and doing good joins one with God.” (Wikipedia) So did Ian share a Universal tradition of Love.

If there’s a Season for Wisdom, it must begin in September (after the Lion’s Gate, 08/08)

Greetings Beloved Kin,

This year the Tzolk’in round’s 8th uinal fell in synchronicity with the Lion’s Gate, an alignment with the Dog Star, Sirius. A period of a week, before and after, is defined as a Time of incoming light from the Central Sun of the Galaxy. Sirius is the “Sun of our Spirit” that serves as the way station for a greater Light in the Universe.

Number 8 is defined as “pure spirit” in the language of the Maya, and the Time ordered for the Intention of Divine Justice. My theory is that the Wisdom of the Truth is history that repeats itself for every generation, and known in its full-light at the time of the Fall Equinox.

From the beginning of Time, Humans are born into paradise. Ignorance was bliss, until Adam and Eve ate the apple. Wisdom led to their loss of innocence. The thirst for knowledge is our Human downfall, when we’re not old enough, or wise enough, to know better.

Adam and Even didn’t have any children until after they were kicked out of the Garden of Eden. The Bible doesn’t say how old they were. I was curious about the Time and the Season. September is typically the best time to pick apples.

In our time and place, higher education begins after Labor Day. One of the traditions I remember from elementary school was “show and tell,” when we were assigned the task to share the experiences of our Summer vacation.

I remember some of the stories my children shared. One classic example was, “Mom had to go to court to get child support.” (There were show-and-tell stories more personal than that.)

In our age of innocence, all knowledge seems worthy to share. We were too young to know that life isn’t a bed of roses. We must have all learned how “stupid” we were in September, most likely around the ages of 8 or 9 when we were eager to be a grown-up and were proud and happy to share just how much we knew.

That’s when we learned about shame and the limits of Unconditional Love. That’s when we were learned that we could be cast away from love for a sin of not knowing what we were doing. From that day on, it became a mystery we had to figure out. Still to young to know any better, we were bound to ask a million questions to know the answer.

The more we talked about it, the more we fell from grace. If we were “wise,” we joined the grown-up’s world of hiding the truth, when we became conscious that there’s right and wrong things to know. We learned that the wrong things could get us kicked out of paradise. It was Truth that was impossible to know before we learned “what it means.” The Truth was only possible to understand, after it was too late.

A Divine Creator had a plan for Unconditional Love. Wisdom can all be turned to a Divine Purpose when we find the Only One in every Time and Place where we can share every experience we’ve known, just the way it is – and be loved all the more for our Faith in the One Above.

What I’d like to know is, who invented show-and-tell? And why did they want to know? (Teachers must have eagerly awaited the results of the assignment.)

If there’s a Divine Provision for every Human limitation, there must be Grace for those who are afraid to know the Truth, for what they could learn that they don’t want to know. In this Time and Place, and always, Divine Wisdom leads the way back home to the Creator’s offering of Unconditional Love.

love, in lak’ech, i am another you

PS. I  never could believe that a Creator of Unconditional Love would cast anyone away, because they stumbled through the “wrong church” door.

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide Page for the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” My gift for the Tzolk’in round offers an overview for each 13-day trecena and the aspects of each day of the Tzolk’in round. The page also offers a link to resources for your own practice of counting the days to conceive your own discernment of the Meaning of Time.

NEW SEASON – VOLUME 2: Tzolk’in Seasons 3 and 4 (PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 20, 2020)

NOTE: You can also look at dates from a different direction. What is the Destiny Kin number of your day sign’s 3rd tone? You may have overlooked a life-changing day. Use the Kin Calculator offered on the Daykeeper’s Resource Page for a date six years before or after. If you are just starting to count the days and don’t have a journal from the last round, when something major happens in your life you can look to see if there was a major event on that same date before. You can also look for Signs in the “distance of time” – the number of days between one day and another, from the Time and Date Calculator linked on the resources page. Example – 33 days is a symbol of a day that you actualize the Truth from the beginning date.

7 Wisdom/CIB (Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’) – Day 7 of 13 of the 1 Dog/OC trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 7: Reflective; 7 stands as the mirror to divide light and dark and reflects all that is and is not. 7 is associated with the source of creation and the flow of divine will. 7 establishes the purpose to current and future goals.

Wisdom/CIB: The old ones. Wisdom of the ancients. Wisdom persons are aligned with the ancient memories that wait in the stone of temples and sacred sites all over the world. Wisdom people grow luck like a crop using a balance of prudence and tenacity. The tremendous inner strength of this sign, enables silent introspection to discover areas of oneself that contain wisdom more valuable than any trove of archaeological treasure. Wisdom persons are valiant defenders of family and community. They may become hardened to life and sentiment turned cold. In these cases, they need much forgiveness for their uncaring errors. Periodically connecting with nature and or visiting sacred sites will bring great stability to wisdom persons.

A GOOD DAY TO: Sit on a rock.

Cherokee, Owl U’GUKU’ O’JJ: Symbol is the Owl is Arcturus, the brightest Star in the Constellation Bootes. The Cherokee Bear constellation (Ursa Major) includes the Big Dipper plus four stars in Bootes.  Owl is a hunter, who stands for the wisdom and ability of all great hunters, the cunning of a fox, the tenacity of a bulldog and strength of a bear. Energy for deep thinkers, strong-willed, rigid convictions, bold and authoritative.  Owl is the Mystic Ferryman who guides Earthlings on the return path to the stars holding the torch aloft.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources.
