2 Night / AKBAL
Greetings Beloved Kin,
The Cherokee Hearth is the flame that never goes out between the Heart of Sky and Heart of Earth. Through the Choice of an Offering, the Light of Faith doesn’t go out for a Feeling of Divine Comunion where we know there’s a way through.
Through an Offering to be As One with a Divine Creator, a Light shines even through the darkness of our doubts and fears.
AKBAL holds position 3, the “lord of the Day” that establishes the beginning of a Divine Trinity. The glyph illustrates the Light beyond the veil. AKBAL holds potential for mystical experiences, and a realization of a life on the “other side” that’s real.
The Lunar Eclipse between the north and south nodes of fate are gravitational forces pulling at us from equal and opposite directions.
We ascended to a Higher Level of Consciousness of the Power of an Offering and the Creator’s Sacred Exchange. 2 Night/AKBAL COULD be a Dark Night, though the Truth of the sum of the whole experience in the end is, “The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:5)
Wind/IK is the Creator’s Voice that speaks through the Wind. AKBAL is the Voice that speaks to us through our Dreams. Dreams are the Truth.

The Lunar Eclipse can bring new Truth to Light, or change our perspective. Pluto in Scorpio season accentuates matters of death and rebirth. Our gut instincts tell us what no longer serves a purpose. The sacrifice is a Life we knew before. Once it was the only life we knew.
AKBAL leads us on a tour of the laboratory of the mind. We can see inside how the unconscious is working from a conscious perspective. We can see the intended operation between the mind of reason and the faculty of our imagination. The energy is numbing and dreamy. You can wake from a dream you loved but can’t remember how it ends. Then it reminds you of something you always dreamed for that you let go of a long time ago.

The Mystical experience of AKBAL is that no matter how much it hurts to remember love that’s lost, the Sacred Exchange for the Offering is the Truth of a Divine Answer to everything. Divine Trinity is knowing that when you let go, God Will share the very thoughts and words you needed to hear. The Creator’s Voice can break through while the Holy Water of your Tears is the Sacred Ceremony, straight from the Heart.
Our Dreams are the Truth. In the Creator’s unknown realm we are together 24/7. Our last thoughts of Understanding (Tone 12) is the topic of conversation when we Ascend (13) to our Dreams. The subconscious mind doesn’t respond by a command of words, but operates from the Truth of Experience. We unconsciously wake-up every morninig to one First Thought about a new beginning. The Creator speaks to us through the Light of Day, and in the Night the Creator offers a Reason why our Dreams are intended to come true. The unconscioius mind can’t forget that real experience of all possibility we knew in our Dreams.
Tone 2 is Human’s side of the conversation. Through the Intention of Duality, we have a clearer perspective from two different angles of Discernment. We may be answering our own questions, when doubts and fears arise. “To be or not to be. That is the question.” (~ William Shakespeare) Hamlet’s speach poses the question when the choice appeared to be death one way or another. On Tone 1 and 2 we’re beginning a new climb after being returned to a new state of inertia. This is a good day for an AKBAL day, since we’re likely to feel distracted.
If it feels like you’re living in an alternative universe, you are. If you can, take some time to be alone with your own thoughts. AKBAL teaches us to willingly enter the darkness where a Voice in our Dreams will pull us through to the “other side.”
May we honor the sacrifice at the Hunter’s Moon for all the blood, sweet and tears that bring every meal to the table.
in lak’ech, i am another you

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide Page for the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” My gift for the Tzolk’in round offers an overview for each 13-day trecena and the aspects of each day of the Tzolk’in round. The page also offers a link to resources for your own practice of counting the days to conceive your own discernment of the Meaning of Time.
4TH SEASON: 1 Wisdom/CIB begins the 4th Season of the Tzolk’in – VOLUME 2: Tzolk’in Seasons 3 and 4 (PUBLISHED SEPTEMBER 20, 2020)
NOTE: You can also look at dates from a different direction. What is the Destiny Kin number of your day sign’s 3rd tone? You may have overlooked a life-changing day. Use the Kin Calculator offered on the Daykeeper’s Resource Page for a date six years before or after. If you are just starting to count the days and don’t have a journal from the last round, when something major happens in your life you can look to see if there was a major event on that same date before. You can also look for Signs in the “distance of time” – the number of days between one 13 Eagle/MEN (Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI)Calculator linked on the resources page. Example – 33 days is a symbol of a day that you actualize the Truth from the beginning date.

Galactic Tone 2: Mysterious as the question ‘to be or not to be?” Two is the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined. Walking a balance while making choices of all kinds, light/dark, male/female, good/bad, Yin/Yang, is the energy of this number. Experiencing the differences between one and another is the use and purpose of this number.
Night/Akbal: Bringers of the Dawn. Dreamers who bring the new sun to clarify and illuminate the road of life. Thus the insecurities and doubts born of darkness of the sub-conscious mind are dispelled. These persons travel the Void. a place where nothing yet exists but all potential dwells, the womb of creation. From this void, Night persons bring forth new solutions and artistic inspiration. Night’s voyages of dreams build confidence and happiness with a sense of well being. If night does not bravely journey into the void they may find themselves wandering the darkness of self doubt and insecurity.
A GOOD DAY TO: Spend some time contemplating the stars.
Cherokee, Hearth/O’YA: Hearth’s symbol is the fire pit in the Center, velvet black as the night. The triangle in Orion. The M42 nebula (home of the Central race from the WingMakers) in the center of the triangle of Orion is the fire in the Hearth, also matching the Mayan. The Hearth is the Torchbearer who holds the light and warmth throughout the night. Belief is so strong that the surrounding elements become entrained to their rhythm and all resistance falls away. With respect and honor of intuition combined with knowledge this energy creates the magic of the center in this dimension. AKBAL-Night-Totem-OWL: Guardian of the Night Sun. Energies for the opening of mystic secrets, seeing through the masks of deception, trickery. High ability of discernment. Portals open to other worlds and dimensions for your learning and spiritual growth. Magical abilities are possible.
