7 Deer/MANIK

Greetings Beloved Kin,

Deer/MANIK is the Destiny Kin of the Mayan priest. Also known as “Hand,” MANIK represents Human’s Highest Mission to serve as the Creator’s Hand in the realm of physicality. The priest counts the days, and carries out the rituals and ceremonies as ordered by Time on behalf of the whole.

Peak Tone 7 is the end of Human’s climb to Holy Ground. The “top of the pyramid” offers a Higher Perspective on a panoramic scale to see “all that is” and “all that is not.” Deer/MANIK is a symbol of Stability, with 1 leg to plant in each of the 4 directions.

The glyph illustrates a Human Hand grasping a thread of Light that completes a circuit of Divine Power. MANIK challenges us to walk in Integrity with our Highest Vision of our Meaning and Purpose. The circle represents the Vigilant Eye of the Deer. The Deer’s way is our fundamental “defense system” through a choice to walk-the-walk of Divine Trinity.

Deer/MANIK is a Living Demonstration of Faith that walks in Humility, kneeling to the Truth of Human limitations. MANIK isn’t a “perfect example,” but a living demonstration of Faith. MANIK holds the Spiritual Tools that anchor our feet to a Higher Path. The Mayan priest holds the medicine bundle passed down by the Mayan priests of every generation. The Staff represents the priests most powerful tool for Faith to Stand as a Divine Provision for every limitation.

Our Human imperfections are covered by the Creator when our choices are aligned with the Creator’s Will. The Deer stands silently in stillness allowing the Truth to speak for itself. A Divine Hand will be our defense when we dedicate our self to a daily path that leads to an altar. That’s the investment of Faith it takes to Remember the Promise of a Power Greater than our self that will intervene when we make an investment of the Heart. A Divine Creator shields our Heart with the “Breastplate of Righteousness.” Through the Truth of our Intention to serve the whole, we can receive an arrow to the heart that can pass right through. The Rune for Algiz illustrates the arms that reach Above. The angles of Light point from Above to the Heart that receives the blessing.

The Elders reminded us that our Dreams of Love are always possible. They said, “The matter is never whether you can. But, Will You Remember?” A Divine Creator will prove our Faith by the Intention. The Deer is the Daily Hand of Divine Trinity who helps the whole Remember. When the smell of copal fills the air and the smoke rises with the prayers, everyone sees and remembers the one who prays for us. Deer/MANIK holds a power of Harmonic Resonance that draws lower frequencies into sympathy. When someone prays for us, we’re inclined to listen in agreement. When its our Last Hope, we kneel to Agree as One.

It matters when someone else believes on our behalf. When we can’t believe, we can stand when we know someone else believes. Our Heart longs to believe in a Divine Creator that watches over us. MANIK carries on the Mission to believe for the whole.

The Deer uses its peripheral vision to look all around, focusing to see a first sign of Movement. The Deer has plenty of time to escape to Higher Ground when it sees trouble headed in its direction. When we are vigilant to “track our thoughts” we can learn to turn away from our thoughts of negativity. We already know it doesn’t end well when we follow. Our Strength is found in the Truth of Love. Our weakness is born of our doubts and fears.

THE OCCULTATION OF BETELGEUSE, DECEMBER 11, 2023
Betelgeuse is the brightest star in Orion’s right shoulder. Today, the asteroid Leona crosses Betelgeuse’s path. Leona’s name is a Divine Feminine aspect of Leo, the symbol of the Sun as the Lioness.

AN EXTREMELY RARE OCCULTATION OF BETELGEUSE: One of the most famous stars in the night sky is about to disappear. On Dec. 12th (Dec. 11th in the USA), asteroid Leona will pass directly in front of Betelgeuse for an extremely rare occultation visible from south Florida to Italy. Sky watchers in the “path of totality” can look up and see the red giant vanish, dramatically altering the appearance of the constellation Orion. Betelgeuse is labeled alpha Orion even though it is the second brightest star in Orion star behind Rigel. Constellation Orion is drawn as a hunting man, and Betelgeuse sits on his right shoulder. Fixed star Betelgeuse gives martial honor, preferment and wealth. It is of the nature of Mars and Mercury. A variable orange star on the right shoulder of Orion. “The Giant’s Shoulder.” Spectral class M2. The native can receive honors, and gain wealth. The native can be obstinate, combative, rash, energetic, and changeable. Fame is possible. Source: Astrologyking.com

The “nature of Mars and Mercury” are Passion and the Messenger of Light. “The Giant’s Shoulder” is the power to carry out the Creator’s Intention. If we’ve chosen to stand in Faith of the Creator’s Unseen Power, we will be justified and covered by the Creator’s Divine Provision for the Harmony and Equity of the Whole.

By the Haab Count of the North, December 11, 2023 is 15 Mak/Mac. 15 is a symbol of the Power of a Hand (5) time 3. Mak/Mac means to Enclose, to Cover. Ceremonies led by the elders of the community honored Chaak and Itzamna. Fires were lit atop the temples and the hearts of birds and animals were thrown into the flames. When they were completely burned, a bucket of water was poured on them as if rain from Chaak had extinguished them. Source: Mayan-Calendar.com

7 Deer/MANIK is a call to Faith. It’s time to stand silently in the Truth of our Divine Intention to carry on our Mission of Love. A Divine Hand will gather us in and cover us by the Truth that can only be known by Faith.

Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

May we carry out our Mission at an altar, kneeling in Humility to all our Human limitations. May we hold Faith in a Promise through the Darkness to be born again into the Light of the Creator’s Truth of Unconditional Love. May we believe on behalf of the whole. We’re all worthy of Saving. Every Seed was born with the Choice to serve the Creator’s Highest Purpose. Through the Intention we are covered by a Hand Above.

A dedicated daily path is the only way to Remember. Our Intention guides the Movement of Spirit. The More we follow a Conscious Intention to Love, the more the Movement expresses our Divine Nature – Intentions are transformed into the Choices we are Inclined to make over time. Every choice of Faith will raise our Inner Strength to believe, no matter what Human arrows may be aimed at our Heart. When they come for us to claim the prize, they’ll wonder how we lived through it and disappeared to Higher Ground.

May we offer our Prayers of Faith on behalf of a Divine Family that believes for One Another. May we Stand in Silence to allow the Truth to Speak for itself. May we Count our Blessings for the Unseen Power of a Hand Above and a Hand Below, to restore us in the Balance by a Divine Provision and Offering of Unconditional Love. May we claim on behalf of the whole that “all that is” and “all that is not” from Human’s perspective is not the whole Truth.

love, in lak’ech, i am another you

The first season of the Tzolk’in is found in Volume 1. The guide includes the overview for each trecena and the aspects for every day, so you can discern the Meaning of Time as it applies to your own Time and Place.

It’s interesting to look up the major dates in your life. You might discover they happened on the same Tzolk’in date. The calendar is written within. The Order is what we are naturally inclined to do.

7 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi) – Day 7 of 13, 1 Crocodile/IMIX trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.

Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.

A GOOD DAY TO: Be of Service to Others

Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions.  Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer:  A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician.  Ability to create harmonic resonance.
