Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj: A Call for Prayers

Greetings Beloved Kin,

A correspondence from from Joseph Giove was caught in my spam filter, an email sent January 13, 2024 from an email server in Mexico. I was unable to access the linked photos and the only text was the subject line of “Sad News.” Our beloved tata was to celebrate his 97th birthday this month.

I regret that there are no details to share. I’ve reached out to Joseph’s USA email address and hope for more information when he returns from Mexico.

May we remember tata in our prayers with gratitude and appreciation for a lifetime of Divine service. Don Alejandro was destined to share the Divine Inheritance of the Mayan calendars with the world in the time of the 13th Baktun that was observed December 21, 2012.

I am sad to share such hard news without all the facts of the matter. Please share any information if you have access to the local news.

love, in lak’ech

Don Alejandro Cirilo Perez Oxlaj – Wandering Wolf
Is a 13th Generation Quiche Mayan High Priest. Early in life Don Alejandro was recognized by members of his Mayan people as a messenger to carry the traditions. Since a number of years he is president of the Mayan Council of Elders, a body of 440 male and female elders of wisdom in Guatemala, representing 23 different ethnic groups and has the authority to speak on its behalf. His Mayan name “Wakatel Utiw” means Wandering Wolf and he travels the world together with his wife Elizabeth Araujo, together sharing ceremonies and Mayan traditions and prophecies. Don Alejandro is also the head of the Indigenous Council of the Americas, which has member tribes from Tierra de Fuego, to Alaska and serves as a gathering point for shamans and elders of many peoples.

THE TRECENA OF SUN/AHAU: GUIDED BY THE BRIGHTEST LIGHT ABOVE

The Highlights, Peak Energies, and Times of Synchronicity for this trecena are included on the  13-Day Trecena Guide.

The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th to the end of the Tzolk’in round.

1 Sun/AHAU is the 4th trecena of the first season of the Tzolk’in round, found in Volume 1. There’s something more to see when you discern the Truth for yourself.

Also see Daykeeper Resources for calculators and calendar links, and the Spiritual Tools page for ways to add to cause for a higher effect.

6 Serpent/CHICCHAN (Cherokee, Serpent Do’tsi) – Day 6 of 13 of the 1 Sun/AHAU trecena

Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom and Tzolk’in calculator preserved on MayanMajix.com

Galactic Tone 6: Flow. Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Serpent/CHICCHAN: Movement and the creation of time. Sensual and dramatic, this sun sign embodies intense instinctual wisdom and creates a connection from Earth bound, to Heavenly aspirations. By sincere service to others, Serpent opens and expands its heart. Serpent aligns authority and the truth to bring justice that is quick and sure. Serpents are very adaptable, even fluid until trapped in a corner, and then they explode. Serpents, venomous temper poisons itself as well as others by creating resentful, suppressive and even destructive attitudes.

Cherokee, Serpent/DO’TSI: Serpent’s symbol is Constellation Serpens. Serpent people are Sky people who come to earth periodically as Educators. As above-So below, on Earth the Serpent is the roots of the tree of knowledge. Serpent power is vital energy, the moving force, the instinct and desire for creativity, the trigger that sets off the action. It lights the fuse that magnifies and explodes the life force itself. Knowledge, combining science, technology and psychology, plus spirituality are seeded on the planet.

A GOOD DAY TO: Ask for flexibility and fluidity.

[Text in italics was the primary source of inspiration for my journal. These are the sources that started my journey and they are the reference for interpretation each day. By providing the original text, I hope to offer a way to see what inspired my thoughts and by including all the aspects – allow for something more to inspire you. Mayan descriptions are those written by Ian Lungold. Cherokee descriptions came from multiple sources. Links to sources and other resources of study are offered on the Daykeeper Resources Page. ~Debra]

  1. Hi Debra, thank you for this update, hopefully it’s not ‘the worst’ news (in the meantime before there’s conformation we can hope for the best). Wondering Wolf will forever remain in our hearts as a Guiding Light, even after he has left this earthy realm.

Just a note, also, to let you know that I’m apparently not able to use the ‘like’ button anymore – it doesn’t ‘take’ when I press it – it’s been like that for more than a week by now (it’s probably a type of ‘shady bantering’ of the shadowy kind, if you know what I mean …). I’m therefore less motivated to participate on this here platform but will continue on my own dot org and dot net sites. I almost abandoned this service a year ago already, but I think this is it … Will drop by here from time to time though.

    • I’m holding out hope too. I’m sorry for your difficulty. It could have as much to do with the restrictions set for spammers who target the site. much love, in lak’ech, Debra
