While we wait…

The Harvest Moon is Time to give thanks for the Abundance of Spirit and the Light of Divine Inspiration that was created by our Vision Quest. After the Dance the string of prayer ties was offered to the Fire to transmute Human matters into the Smoke of our Prayers.

 

The Elders instructed us to create a prayer tie in the colors of the 4 directions, representing the 4 Elements of Life. We were called to choose our own color to represent the expression of our Spirit. Small squares of cloth were held in our Left (receiving) Hand, while a pinch of tobacco was held in the Right (giving) Hand. Tobacco was named “Se Ma.” the Legend is one of a Brave Warrior who ascended. He was asked by the Heart of Sky what he would choose to be in his New Life. Se’ Ma’ asked to be the Smoke of our Prayers that rises in the double-helix at the center of the Creator’s Breath. We placed the tobacco in the cloth, after speaking the prayer and giving it 4 breaths. We held it there as we offered the prayer of Gratitude for the Answered Prayer that manifests the Creation. The folded bundle was held in the Left hand as the Right hand bound with 4 wraps onto the string. It was closed with a slip knot that secured it in its Divine Order of colors.

At the beginning of the Vision Quest, we were called to consider the Highest Hopes, reaching to know the way. Whether you created sticky notes, or an invisible string of prayers to surround you, we can create the Offering for the  Harvest Full Moon. Below are some symbols and directions for our consideration.

1. Red – The Element of Fire that Changes Us, the Direction of the East
   Consider the prayers you made to receive the Light of Spirit. What would it mean to you? Why did you want to know?
   Give thanks that the Creator Answered the Prayer before the beginning of Time.
2. Yellow – The Element of Earth, the Direction South
   Consider your prayers for Right Relationship, with people and with life all around in the Natural World. What does Right Relationship mean to you? Are you willing to fail like every other Human Being to learn the Truth by your own experience?
   Give thanks that the Creator Answered the Prayer before the beginning of Time.
3. Blue/Black – The Element of Water, the Direction West
   Consider your prayers for the Unknown Future. What were your Highest Hopes and Dreams? Are you willing to walk through the Darkness of the Unfamiliar-Unknown to reach the Light at the End? Are you willing to Face the Truth?
   Give thanks that the Creator Answered the Prayer before the beginning of Time.
4. White – The Element of Air, the Direction North
   The Truth we claim as our Own is an end of the Creator’s Breath that spoke the Truth to our Heart and Mind. What did we learn? Did we learn from our failures that we were covered by the Creator’s Unconditional Love? If we kept reaching to know the Answer to all our Prayers, the Truth of the Creator is the Highest Discernment of the Truth.
   Give thanks for the Creator’s Divine Covenant of Love, a Choice that lasts forever when we worship One True North that raises the Scion.
   Give thanks that it applies to you and to everyone who reaches to Know the Heart of Sky.
   Give thanks that the Ancient of Days Answered the Prayer before the beginning of Time.
5. Color of Spirit, the Direction Within
   Lay the foundation for the Experiences still Unknown. Wisdom begins from the state of mind that we don’t know everything. Assume that the “more that shall be revealed” could change the entire landscape of your Dream. The Next Harvest always depends on the Weather and other Acts of God that can strike out of the blue.
   Count your Blessings that you don’t have to know anything, when you’re waiting on and waiting for the Lord.

We are laying the foundation for the future, “laying the cloth” upon which all our Faith will rest in the prayers to the East, prepared for the Fire. In the South, we consecrate the Earth where we will stand in Integrity by the Truth of our Highest Discernment. In the West, we establish the Intention of Willingness to Know and to receive the Truth we never knew before for the Living Water that will bring the Truth to Life. In the North, we learn to wait on the Voice of God to Speak the Truth we claim as our own in Time, because we will Wait to Know. The string that binds the Truth of our Creation is the Blessings we Count for an end that was planned for us from the Beginning.

The symbols are your choice for what you could offer to the Fire on the Full Moon. We connect the experience Above and Below when we combine something we can see, touch and feel to a Divine Matter of Faith from our Holy Spirit within.  It’s our Time that the Creator wanted to share.

The Full Moon and Eclipse fall on September 17 or 18, 2024. The 17th is 2 Star/LAMAT, Venus as the Symbol of the Scion, the Creator’s Will for what we were intended “to be or not to be.” Star/LAMAT is the Sign of Divine Luck that multiplies to abundance, the Highest Object of our Affection (ie. what’s on our mind as our Highest Intention of thought). LAMAT holds Position 8, the Sign of an Abundant Harvest from the Seeds we sowed in Spring. The 17th creates another 8 in a Year of 8, to multiply the Symbol of Justice to the Power of Divine Trinity 8:8:8. The 18th (a 9) is 3 Offering/MULUC, the symbol of the Christ Spirit, the Hero in us that can teach the whole the Miracles that happen when we Give Back and Pay Forward the Creator’s Love that Overflows. September is another 9 and MULUC holds Position 9, the last step before we reach the 10th Position of Dog/OC, the symbol of the Creators Unconditional Love repeats the 9:9:9 that marks a Creation is finished. The Lunar Eclipse marks the end of a Season of the Heart that was broken, until we Knew the Truth of the Creator’s Love, and a Divine Plan for our Life.

In the middle of all the Breaking Light, may we keep our Divine Eye trained on the Source as the Highest Object of our Affection, as Faith in the Truth of Answered Prayers.

Galactic Tone 8: Justice. Harmony and balance are the intent of Eight. Eights carefully weigh all evidence to reach a balance of justice. Eight is the power of organization demonstrated in the statement, “As above, so below.” From simplicity to infinity, the energy of Eight organizes all levels of creation. Some Eights are “Neat Freaks”.

Crocodile/IMIX: Crocodile receives messages of primal creative force; simply the beginning of all things. Crocodiles who follow their hearts are seen as genius. There is no order to the primal messages, so Crocodile persons should direct their energies toward practical and cooperative efforts to bring productive results. Crocodiles have a strong nurturing energy and will work hard to provide security to family and friends. Being extremely territorial, Crocodiles must watch not to be over protective or too dominating. While in these states, Crocodiles are insecure, indecisive and emotionally volatile.

A GOOD DAY TO: Open to new beginnings.

Cherokee Turtle/ DAK’SI  I’SB:  Symbol, Turtle Island. Direction East. The Turtle Constellation Orion, one of three stars in the Cosmic Egg. In Mayan this is the Cosmic Hearth.  Energy of Creative force at the one-on-one, personal level; dawn, awakening, birth. The beginning of each new era, this star in Orion appears with the rising Sun, heralding the creation of a new World cycle. TOTEM Imix/Dragon – Energy to understand all things sacred. Creation energy, connection for visions to learn the mysteries of the Universal knowledge. The dragon carries the source energy of life, revered in ancient cultures for power and wisdom.
