ELECTRIC CURRENTS ARE FLOWING THROUGH THE GROUND: Electrical currents are flowing through rocks and soil in the United States in response to today’s geomagnetic storm. Red zones in this map from NOAA show where the geoelectric voltages are highest:
Peak voltages in the US midwest are just below 5 V/km. For reference, this is less than 25% of what caused the Great Quebec Blackout in 1989. Power outages are currently unlikely.
The map, above, is a snapshot from a real-time display that takes into account the 3D conductivity of the Earth and ongoing geomagnetic activity. A computer at NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center crunches the data to produce minute-by-minute estimates of electricity in the ground. These estimates help managers of the power grid safeguard their hardware and keep power flowing to customers.
THE CME HAS ARRIVED, AND THE STORM HAS BEGUN: The CME launched by Tuesday’s X-flare has just reached Earth. It appears to be as potent as advertised. Solar wind speeds jumped up to 750 km/s, and a crack is opening in Earth’s magnetic field. A geomagnetic storm is underway with an intensity currently fluctuating between G2 (Moderate) and G4-class (Severe). If it is dark where you are, be alert for auroras!
NOTE: When electrical current passes through the human body from the earth, it can cause a range of effects depending on the current strength, including muscle contractions, burns, disruption of the nervous system, irregular heartbeat, respiratory paralysis, and in severe cases, even death, primarily due to the current interfering with the normal electrical signals in the body and causing tissue damage through heat generation. Low level currents work the same, though may be to weak to be felt.

Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability, of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.
Monkey/CHUEN: Monkey is known to the Maya as the Weaver or Weaver of Time. Monkey takes ideas as threads of vines and weaves them into the fabric of our reality. New patterns or inventions are also woven into our lives by Monkey. Amiable, intelligent, generous and a jack of all trades, Monkey’s innocent curiosity leads to artistic expression and constructive solutions. Many Monkeys become highly respected merchants or speakers. They love performing practical jokes and crave attention, so much so that they may over-act or play the fool to get the spotlight. Monkeys have a short attention span and find it difficult to stay with anything long enough to master it.

Cherokee, Raccoon/KVH’LI: Star Symbol: Algol, a star in Perseus. Restless energy yearning for long-lost love. Algol was named DEMON STAR or MISCHIEVOUS ONE by the Ancients because it winks and fades at times. Raccoons are full of friendly mischief, eager to swap kisses for candy; magnetic leaders, full of humor and gaiety. Favorite food is corn, the mainstay of the Cherokee. Very artistic while being the “masked bandit” who steals your heart.
The Raccoon is not above stealing treasures human throws in the trash, knowing that living water can wash it up like new.
