Earth’s Magnetic North Pole is moving and changing faster than ever, surprising scientists
What does it mean? Some hope this doesn’t screw up Santa’s deliveries tracked by GPS. Where will the Monarchs, Penguins, and GPS Tractors go? The Magnetic Pole is different than the geographical North Pole. There’s no existing research on the effects upon geography.
Reports from NOAA/NCEI set the standard GPS position of true North. Polar shifts happen every 11 years on the Sun. The Earth’s poles have reversed “200 times over the past 100 million years. The most recent… approximately 800,000 years ago.”
The Sun in Perihelion is in its closest position to Earth, increasing the force of geomagnetic attraction. The Sun’s Magnetic Pole flip is part of the Solar Maximum that may last another two years.
This post includes briefs from two articles in the details and impacts of our wandering Magnetic North Pole.
Happy Christmas Eve!
And, good luck with your Uber deliveries.

Magnetic North Pole is moving and changing faster than ever, surprising scientists
By Eric Ralls, Earth.com staff writer
The magnetic North Pole, a vital navigational anchor for our planet, is far from stationary. Most of us remain blissfully unaware that it shifts constantly under the influence of dynamic forces beneath the Earth’s crust.
However, recent movements have been more extreme than usual, making people take notice. Once steady, this silent sentinel has recently been speeding erratically toward Russia at an unprecedented pace.
Such rapid shifts could have dramatic consequences, disrupting modern navigation systems and, by extension, the way we navigate our daily lives.
Unlike the geographic North Pole, which is fixed in the Arctic, the magnetic north pole is constantly on the move, drifting several kilometers each year due to changes in Earth’s molten core.
This movement can sometimes throw off navigation systems, requiring updates to maps and compasses to stay accurate.
What makes the magnetic North Pole even more interesting is how it affects both technology and nature.
For example, airplanes and ships rely on accurate magnetic readings for safe travel, while some animals use Earth’s magnetic field to migrate across vast distances.
Unexpected: True North Moving from Canada to Siberia
Ever since we started tracking it, the magnetic North Pole has been on the move. However, its recent behavior is quite out of the ordinary.
Once comfortably located in northern Canada, the pole kicked into high gear in the late 20th century, making its way across the Arctic Ocean by the 1990s.
Presently, it’s hurtling at an impressive speed of 25 kilometers per year towards Siberia.
What’s steering the magnetic North Pole? Visit Earth.org for more details.
Experts share 3 possibilities:
- Changes in the flow of molten iron beneath the Earth’s crust
- High-energy solar particles interacting with the Earth’s magnetosphere, such as during solar storms and winds
- Phenomenon linked to Earth’s history of magnetic pole reversals, nearly 200 times over the past 100 million years, most recently 800,000 years ago

Earth’s Magnetic North Pole Officially Has A New Position
Just before Christmas, let’s hope this doesn’t screw up the deliveries of the North Pole’s most famous resident.

On December 17, the NOAA/NCEI released the latest update.
“The current behaviour of magnetic north is something that we have never observed before. Magnetic north has been moving slowly around Canada since the 1500s but, in the past 20 years, it accelerated towards Siberia, increasing in speed every year until about five years ago, when it suddenly decelerated from 50 to 35 km per year, which is the biggest deceleration in speed we’ve ever seen,” added Dr Brown.
Mayan Time

9 CIMI is the Day sign of the Comforter, the Holy Spirit. 9 is a symbol of completion and a Trinity of Trinities. Tone 9 is Patience to see the Big Picture. CIMI is a Sign of Major Life Change on the scale of Life and Death. CIMI is the Comfort offered by the Holy Spirit in times such as these. CIMI is the Voice of God that holds our hand and tells us “Everything will be alright.” CIMI calls us to testify by Faith in the Word.
One thing I’m sure of. The Ancient of Days has a plan for the Monarchs, the Penguins, and his children.
The “core days” of the Tzolk’in symbolize the Chrysalis phase that manifests the Butterfly. I wouldn’t mind enforced hibernation, if feels like tomorrow when you wake up. If could be a rapture, given the “creation” is not the goo, but what a Divine Creator pulls out of it.

THE TRECENA OF FLINT/ETZNAB: TRUTH THAT SETS US FREE
My gift for the Tzolk’in round is the “Tzolk’in Field Guide: A Daily Practice for Personal Discernment.” Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in round. The “Field Guide” is available to download from a link on the 13-day Trecena Guide Page.
Tracking your thoughts during one 13-day trecena, you will see the synchronicity of Time, and an ascension as the answer to a prayer you hold as an Intention of thought from the beginning.
The Flint/ETZNAB trecena is part of Season 2, found in Volume 1.

9 Transformer/CIMI (Cherokee, Twins/ TAKATO’KA) – Day 9 of 13 in the 1 Flint/ETZNAB cycle of Unexpected Truth from Above
Descriptions by Ian Xel Lungold (12 Sun/AHAU), wisdom preserved on MayanMajix.com
Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.
Transformer/CIMI: Cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Transformer persons achieve goals and emotional wealth. Transformer people can become highly respected business persons. They have the ability to help others through any and all transitions with tranquility due to their spiritual strength and guidance. Communities often benefit from Transformers discipline and organization skills. They strengthen the life of pregnant women and guide them through the transitions of maternity. Establishing contact with the ancestors activates innate psychic abilities, gifts to be used as tools to assist others. Transformers can have the ability to send evil intentions telepathically, this is their undoing. From these acts they lose power, easily fall into a victim role and begin to manipulate with a vengeance.
A GOOD DAY TO: Tie all loose ends.
Cherokee, Twins/ TAKATO’KA: Twins symbolize the Female Sun and Male Moon, whose union keeps the world going round. Cherokee myth has the Morning Star heralding the Sun, Venus, also being the Evening Star as representing the TWINS. The energy brings major changes all throughout life, riding the tsunamis of earthquake and upheaval, making their own waves wherever they go. They undergo powerful transformations, alternating like a flashing neon sign. The challenge is to master Balance while experiencing Chaos leading to re-birth and abundance through infinity.
NOTE: The Cherokee description is offered from an Elder. The Sun is acknowledged as the Father, and the Moon, the Mother. In the reflection, Love is the Divine Feminine aspect of the Father (Elohim) and Truth, the reflection of the Father in the Mother. Elohim is a plural term with both Femininize and Masculine aspects in the roots of the word.
