CALIFORNIA STARLINK LAUNCH: Twenty-three more Starlink satellites are now in Earth orbit. Last night, Rob Ferber watched the launch from a roadside near Panoche, California. The Falcon 9 deployed 23 new Starlink satellites, bringing the total number of Starlinks launched this year to 276 . And it’s only February!
“I was driving south on I-5 just after sunset on Feb. 10th when I saw an orange star rising above the horizon directly ahead,” says Ferber. “It was a Falcon 9 rocket launched from the Vandenberg Space Force Base. The rocket’s exhaust was gorgeous as it spread above the Temblor Range still lit by the sunset glow.”
The Falcon 9 deployed 23 new Starlink satellites, bringing the total number of Starlinks launched this year to 276 . And it’s only February! Sky watchers may be able to observe the newest “Starlink train” as a string of bright lights in the night sky. Visit Heavens-Above.com for flyby predictions.

AURORAS FOR VALENTINE’S DAY? Another solar wind stream is heading for Earth. It is flowing from a canyon-like hole in the sun’s atmosphere. First contact with the stream on Feb. 14th could cause a minor G1-class geomagnetic storm with Arctic auroras for Valentine’s Day.

REINDEER AND AURORAL SPIKES: A solar wind stream hit Earth’s magnetic field on Feb. 9th, causing a G1-class geomagnetic storm. Petr Horálek and more than a dozen reindeer watched the light show from Kilpisjärvi, Finland:
“My friends and I drove 4 hours from cloudy Tromso to clear skies in Finland,” says Horálek. “We stopped at a frozen lake where a giant herd of reindeer were crossing. The auroras overhead were truly brilliant with ‘spike’ structures that I had never seen before.”
The spike structures Horálek saw are caused by discrete streams of electrons raining down from space. They’re a bit like electron beams in the picture tubes of old-fashioned TV sets. Usually these streams are so numerous they blend together into continuous auroral waves and curtains but, occasionally, the individual “spikes” can be seen.

Eagle/MEN: Intermediary between Heaven and Earth. Due to the Eagles superior point of view and keen intelligence, they achieve material abundance and good fortune. A messenger gifted with patience and a deep sense of value, Eagle brings hope and trust on the wings of Spirit. Eagle persons are very detail oriented and technically inclined. Compassionate service to others sustains prosperity for Eagle personas as the flapping of wings would sustain their bird brothers. If Eagle becomes viciously competitive or possessive, greed and jealousy cause a fall from the heights. Eagles, being blessed with freedom of movement, should be aware of escapism. Eagles may be tempted to just fly away from troubles by using indulgences.
A GOOD DAY TO: Rise to a Higher Perspective
Cherokee, Eagle/UWO’HATLI: Eagle’s symbol is Mars the Spirit Warrior. He is a minion of Grandfather Moon. Eagles were the warrior society, the braves the protectors of the nation. Women were included. There was no discrimination which is reflected in the language: third person singular is divided into animate, human and animate, not human instead of he and she. The energy of high hopes and anticipations, dreams and visions, cosmic consciousness and commitment. On earth, a provider of excellence, leader, husbandry, care-taking of others, financial security and inheritance.
