“HORNS OF FIRE” SOLAR ECLIPSE: When the sun rose over Maine this morning, something was issing–about 85% of the sun. A solar eclipse was underway. “We witnessed an amazing ‘horns of fire’ eclipse,” reports Fabrizio Melandri, who sends this picture from Monticello:

I had to withstand an air temperature of -10°C (14°F), but it was worth it,” says Melandri. “Although the sun was covered for 85%, the sunrise was very dazzling. After a few minutes, it was necessary to use a solar filter to protect my eyes from the glare.”

Maine was on the very edge of the eclipse zone:

Similar crescents were seen from eastern Canada and Greenland. Well … maybe not Greenland. “It was profoundly disappointing,” says Eliot Herman who was in Greenland to watch the eclipse. “We had clear sky yesterday, but totally socked in this morning and could not see the sun.”

Mayan Time

13 Crocodile/IMIX is an Ascension of a Moon trecena (MULUC), a symbol of Answered Prayers (13), and IMIX is the Alpha to the Omega of the Sun. On IMIX we get “wild ideas” as the Light of Divine Inspiration. By tradition, it’s a Day to pray for good sense and reason. 

The devil is the illusion. I wonder what our ancestors would have thought of this? The plan for the 5th and final day of the Wayeb was to keep on praying until the Sun goes down. The illusions we see clearly today can go down forever with the setting sun. Tomorrow on the Haab New Year, we rise to the first Whole Day of the Brightest Light of a New Sun and Solar cycle.

Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.

Crocodile/IMIX: Crocodile receives messages of primal creative force; simply the beginning of all things. Crocodiles who follow their hearts are seen as genius. There is no order to the primal messages, so Crocodile persons should direct their energies toward practical and cooperative efforts to bring productive results. Crocodiles have a strong nurturing energy and will work hard to provide security to family and friends. Being extremely territorial, Crocodiles must watch not to be over protective or too dominating. While in these states, Crocodiles are insecure, indecisive and emotionally volatile.

The beginning of each new era, this star in Orion appears with the rising Sun, heralding the creation of a new World cycle. TOTEM Imix/Dragon – Energy to understand all things sacred. Creation energy, connection for visions to learn the mysteries of the Universal knowledge. The dragon carries the source energy of life, revered in ancient cultures for power and wisdom.
