Comet SWAN2025F Taken by Michael Jaeger and Gerald Rhemann on April 6, 2025 @ Weißenkirchen, Austria
Green Comet Approaching the Sun
SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 04/07/2025
NEW COMET DISCOVERY: Amateur astronomers are monitoring a bright new comet easily detectable by backyard telescopes. Introducing, Comet SWAN25F.
“The comet’s tail is at least 2 degrees long,” says Michael Jaeger, who teamed up with Gerald Rhemann to photograph the comet low in the morning sky from Weißenkirchen, Austria (above).

“Newly-discovered Comet SWAN25F is brightening nicely as it approaches the sun,” reports Mike Olason, who sends these pictures from Tucson, Arizona. “On the morning of April 6th, the comet was magnitude 8.4 with a bright green 3′ wide coma and a thin tail that extended well beyond my field of view.”
The comet is named after the SWAN camera onboard the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO). Australian amateur astronomer Michael Mattiazzo noticed the comet in online images. SWAN is a special camera that maps hydrogen in the solar wind, which suggests this comet may be rich in the element.

Mayan Time
9 Dog/OC leads the way back home to the stars. Tone 9 represents a creation that is “finished” and the Intention to step back to see the Truth of the Big Picture. The Intention in the 4th month of the 4th season is stability. Tone 9 reflects the 4th Step of recovery programs, to make “a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.” Another word for “moral” is truth. By reviewing our lives — the people, situations, beliefs and fears we have engaged with in our past — we can begin to see the truth about ourselves and the role we’ve played in our troubles.
The Truth is hard to see, but we grow brighter by the Day through the realization of the power to change the future. We’re called to turn to the Light of the Creator for the Truth and the Way.
Indigenous cultures saw comets as a Sign from Spirit. Signs are given for the future. The Jaguar/Panther is the Mayan symbol of Spirit. Cherokee Description: Panther is symbolized by comets, meteors, shooting stars, fireballs, and magicians. (The photographer’s name, Michael Jaeger, reminded me of the Jaguar and Archangel Michael, God’s messenger of Divine Protection.) The Elders said that a green comet would be the Sign of the “3 days of darkness.” Earth-directed sunspots moving into the “danger zone” hold potential for wide-spread communication blackouts. (If communication systems go down, I plan to follow the advice for the “3 Days” to take sanctuary behind closed doors and turn to God in prayer.) The prophecy of the 3 days is also shared in the Catholic tradition. The concept of the Three Days of Darkness is rooted in private revelations attributed to certain Catholic saints and mystics. (Google 3 Days of Darkness for the details.)
Swans symbolize grace, beauty, love, trust, and loyalty. Swans mate for life, making them a symbol of love, fidelity, and commitment. Dog/OC is a symbol of the Creator’s Unconditional Love.

Galactic Tone 9: Patience. The energy of Nine is one of the getting a better perspective of the bigger picture. With the energy of Nine plans or patterns begin to come to completion. Nine requires patience and perseverance that is found in the bigger picture, otherwise there is great suffering from the lack of insight. The completion of cycles of action is all-important to Nine.
Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers.
A GOOD DAY TO: Enjoy family and friends.
Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI: Wolf is symbolized by Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visible but never at the same time. Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots. All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance. Wolves are a connecting link between the worlds; ones who inspire loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential. Wolf is the Day Sign of teachers, healers, pathfinders and transformers; sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb. OC-Totem –Dog: Loyalty and faithfulness that survives beyond death. This was the first day of creation energy in this 4th world, sets the energy for love, loyalty and faithfulness on the 5200 year cycle. Heart chakra energy is involved so that we can move to the state of “unconditional love” with compassion. All sexual desire issues that are not in harmony will surface to be cleared.
