SPACEWEATHER: Shockwaves from Sunspot 4136 Ripple on the Sun

Solar Winds and Increasing Chance of Earth-directed X-Class Flares

SPACEWEATHER.COM NEWS: 07/16/2025

SUNSPOT SHOCKWAVES: Sunspot 4136 has an inky-black core wide enough to swallow Earth. What is going on in there? On July 15th, amateur astronomer David Wilson of Inverness, Scotland, took a closer look, and this is what he saw.

“The core of the sunspot is pulsing regularly and sending out circular waves across the solar surface like a pebble in a pond,” says Wilson. “If this is just a processing artefact I am going to be mighty embarrassed.”

There’s no need for embarrassment. It’s real. Professional astronomers have long known about this phenomenon, sometimes called “umbral flashes.” They are usually seen only through the largest solar telescopes, but sometimes amateurs catch them, too.

The ripples Wilson observed are not fully understood. One theory holds that gas from the sun’s atmosphere falls into the sunspot’s core. When it reaches the “floor” of the sunspot, the gas rebounds, forming luminous shockwaves that spread from the center in concentric circles. INCREASING CHANCE OF FLARES: Sunspots are growing again, especially in the sun’s northern hemisphere. Nine different sunspot groups are currently facing Earth. New sunspot AR4142 has a delta-class magnetic field that harbors energy for X-class solar flares.

NOTE: Active sunspots are located in the circle on the above image, at the end of yesterday’s Canyon of Fire, all within the “danger zone” for Earth directed explosions. Large prominences on the eastern limb can also be seen in SDO’s enlarged image, as more Fire and Light emerges from the far side of the Sun.

Mayan Calendar Time and Synchronicity

The shockwaves rippling in concentric circles from Sunspot 4136 were photographed on 4 Offering/MULUC. The glyph for MULUC represents the Love that ripples through the whole as the effect of every Offering to the Lord of Creation. The Cherokee name for MULUC is the River. MULUC is a symbol of the Christ Spirit and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in the overflow.

4136 resolves to 5, the symbol of Empowerment and Change. Today, 07/16/2025 is 5 Dog/OC, an empowerment of Unconditional Love carried by the Breath of Life and Breath of Spirit as Earth exists is the Solar Winds released from the coronal hole on the Sun.

TRECENA OF TRANSFORMER/CIMI: Transition from Death to a New Life

The “Tzolk’in Field Guide” is my gift to download that includes the Count of Days with the aspects for each Destiny Kin and highlights for a personal practice with each trecena. It’s designed as a companion for daily practice.

Visit the 13-Day Trecena Guide. to download a free copy. Volume 1 covers the first two seasons of the Tzolk’in, and Volume 2 covers the 3rd and 4th to the end of the Tzolk’in round.

CIMI is the 1st trecena of the second season of the Tzolk’in round, found in Volume 1. There’s something more to see when you discern the meaning of Time for yourself. The Truth is revealed by the thoughts on your mind. The Human calendar is written within as Humans course of Migration, thoughts in a Divine Order that lead us back to the place where we belong.

5 Dog/OC (Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI)– Day 5 of 13 of the 1 Transformer/CIMI trecena.

Galactic Tone 5: Empowerment. At the center of the cube we find Five. Five is an intelligent, organizing force which manages communications and materials, knowledge and application. Fives are natural net workers who gather what is needed. These persons can probe directly to the core of any situation making them excellent investigators.

Dog/OC: Courageous, loyal and warm-hearted, very alert and valiant, people born of Dog are respected for their sense of justice and their protection. People born of the sun sign Dog are very sensual and know how to enjoy life. Playfulness and a good understanding of the basic human nature lead to prosperity for Dog. Dogs are good team players who love to travel and have a keen sense of their position in society. Dogs are ambitious and will take opportunities when they offer themselves, including infidelities. Dog persons share the nature of coyotes, spies, wolves and lawyers.

A GOOD DAY TO: ENJOY FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Cherokee, Wolf/KANA’TI: Wolf is symbolized by Sirius (Dog star) and Antares, one or the other always visible but never at the same time.  Wolf is our brother, shares our very roots.  All dogs are domesticated wolves, companionship and guidance.  Wolves are a connecting link between the worlds; ones who inspire loyalty, diplomacy and sense of humor with unlimited potential.  Wolf is the Day Sign of teachers, healers, pathfinders and transformers; sharp as obsidian, gentle as a lamb.
