Akbal is the Bringer of the Dawn who dispels our fears of things hidden in the dark. Akbal carries the Voice of Spirit and speaks to us as a dream, an idea, or as intuition. Tone 8 brings momentum and forward movement to bring justice through harmony and balance. Tone 8 is the High Holy day of the trecena, considered the number of Pure Spirit.
This is also a Portal Day that magnifies our experience and brings a thinning of the veil. The purpose of the Wisdom/CIB trecena is to raise us to a new level of consciousness. Akbal can bring new light into the shadows of our unconscious thoughts. This is a day to pay attention to our Inner Voice.
As we become the Dreamer again, Akbal can also connect our intellect and imagination. We might be inspired by new ideas or see new solutions to a problem. Something that has been hidden or unknown can suddenly come to light.
