12 Days of Gratitude, Day 11 – The Journey Within

2 Flint/ETZNAB (Cherokee: Flint Dawi’sgala)

Galactic Tone 2: Duality; to be or not to be; the recognition of the separation of self from all else and the desire to be rejoined.
Flint/ETZNAB: Mirror of reality; as struck flint – divine sparks of intelligence; flint is the sword of truth cutting falsehoods away.

The Journey Within

Journey Within, April Peerless

Journey Within, April Peerless

Under the the galactic tone 2 we are drawn to look at both sides of a matter to determine the best way forward. Flint’s divine spark offers dynamic realizations, and as the obsidian mirror, helps us to clearly see to the heart of any matter.

Earth/CABAN is a plane of vital force (Earth Magic) upon which to draw our inspiration and healing throughout this 13-day trecena. In our Earthly walk we are surrounded by the powerful elements of nature. Air, Water, Fire and Earth. As Humans, this is the stuff we are made of.

There is a fifth element referred to as the Element of Spirit, the aether, and the vibration that connects us with the cosmos and all of creation.

Draw within. Through Spirit we remember we are also forces of Nature with a shared connection to all that is. The path that will be made clear will be brought to the forward of awareness.

21 Days of Gratitude, Day 2

Since yesterday’s post suggested 21 Days of Gratitude, I took my own advice and will be sharing these 21 Days with you… this is Day TWO!   Jaguar Woman

6 Offering/Muluc/Moonoffering2

Galactic Tone 6: Six is responsiveness and the art of negotiation. It is the movement of volume through space that creates time. This energy in action is like the art of dance or a great athlete in motion. Six facilitates dynamic developments in all aspects of life.

Offering/Muluc is also known as the sign of water. Ceremonially, Maya use water as an offering in baptisms and purifications. These ceremonies are done to bring about a collective strength, adaptability and harmony. In sincere appreciation, Offering people gladly give more than they ask for themselves. Offering persons are dynamic communicators with great intelligence. Like a shaken vessel of water Offering people regain equilibrium quickly.  Mayan Majix

Mitakuye Oyasin, All my Relations

In the traditional ways of the Medicine Circle a Sacred Offering would be preceded by honoring all that have gone before, the Grandfathers, Grandmothers, as well as the Great Spirit, the Four Directions, the Above and Below. In humility, one would establish the intention that the Offering be given in a most respectful way.

Muluc/Offering can stir the emotions as it relates to water and the Moon. At the core of Offering is another opportunity for gratitude, expressed as humility. We are who we are because of all that is and all that has gone before – every person and every experience was important to our becoming.

Make an offering and give thanks in the name of… all that you are grateful for.

3 Transformer/CIMI – Transformational Movement

3 Transformer/CIMI (Cherokee Twins Takato’ka)

Galactic Tone 3: Movement
Three is basic movement and communication, which begins as a vibration. Three energy is very eloquent in all types of self-expression. Communication is how Three establishes a point of agreement between any point “A” and any point “B”.

Transformer/CIMI: Transform, Life, Death, Rebirth
Cycle of life, death and rebirth; Transformer persons achieve goals and emotional wealth. Transformer people can become highly respected business persons. They have the ability to help others through any and all transitions with tranquility due to their spiritual strength and guidance. Communities often benefit from Transformers discipline and organization skills. They strengthen the life of pregnant women and guide them through the transitions of maternity. Establishing contact with the ancestors activates innate psychic abilities, gifts to be used as tools to assist others.  ~Mayan Majix

Transformational Movement

Any change we hope to effect in our lives requires movement and every movement is transformational. We cannot move to a new position without being changed by it.

Though, the real power lies in assigning movements to our deepest intentions. “Why” we do things matters. So much energy in our lives can be spent moving without any intention… we can find ourselves ‘going through the motions’ of our everyday lives without any purpose or direction that is personally meaningful.

This trecena was begun under the sign of 1 Seed/KAN and is a powerful time embodying inherent potential, germination, dynamic emergence, sexual maturity, and gratitude leading to abundance. Because this trecena is so rich with potential it calls us to acknowledge who we are and what gifts we have to bring to serve the whole.

3 CIMI/Transformation offers us an opportunity to work with transformational movement of all kinds.  Consider how you may initiate movement toward the desired changes in your life. The beauty of it is that any movement backed by intention carries us exponentially forward.

Wheels are easier to turn, when they’re already moving.

The Crow Calls

crow xA Crow calls at my balcony and I’m suddenly transported into another world.

If you’re unfamiliar with Crow’s social behavior, they hang in communities that network over an entire region and beyond. It’s this “Crow Network” I find so compelling, combined with another Crow behavior – the ability to either adopt you as friend, or hold a grudge like your worst enemy.

They are considered among the smartest birds and capable enough to recognize your car. As the stories go, if you make Crow your enemy, they signal others that you are a target. By the other turn, if Crow is your friend – other Crows know not to mess with you. You have the full “Crow Endorsement.”

The Crow captured my attention and in a moment I forgot every care, rushing to leave a treat.  He reminded me of the REAL world – the natural world, always there in any moment.

The Crow Endorsement will be a Spirit Tool I can use. When I see a Crow, I’ll remember how connected we all are – in ways beyond our understanding.
