9 Sun/AHAU – Commanding our Destiny

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

9 Sun/AHAU

9 Sun/AHAU

Greetings Kin,

Sun/AHAU brings illumination to all things. We’ve been learning ways to command our own destiny. Just as we might learn any new behavior or skill, the task is easiest to master when we break it down step by step.

In the movie “Karate Kid” Miyagi promises to teach Daniel karate. In the beginning Daniel was frustrated when his primary assignments were to paint fences and wax cars. “Wax on, Wax off.” Only later did Daniel see how the seemingly unrelated movements would be brought together for his personal empowerment.

This is a day to take our time and look at the bigger picture.

Greetings Kin,

A feature of our Human Nature is to respond to the Truth as it is presented to us. The world perpetually serves us inaccurate representations of the Truth. It’s up to us to discern the real Truth from illusion.

Road/EB guides us to define our own Truth of what is of value to our happiness as we set the course on the road to our destiny. God’s Truth offers a way to find joy and love from every step we take. Continue reading

11 Offering/MULUC – Road to Revival

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

11 Offering/MULUC

11 Offering/MULUC

Greetings Kin,

There are two critical elements of learning anything new: the knowledge gained from an initial concept or idea, and the wisdom that only comes through a practical application. There’s always something more to learn through our direct experience.

11 Offering/MULUC helps us to transform what we have learned from a mental concept into wisdom we’ll remember from the heart.

11 Wisdom/CIB – Journey of Transformation

MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL

Greetings Kin,

11 Wisdom/CIB

11 Wisdom/CIB

The stories of our lives are not forgotten. Our experiences, understanding, and our personal truths are elements of a Divine Creation. Our bodies wither, but the story of our Spirit’s transformation is eternally beautiful.

11 Wisdom/CIB is the Day Sign that offers us the understanding of our place in the universe. The ancient ancestors have completed their earthly walk and know the truth of their being. A prevailing Truth our ancestors would have us know is that our Spiritual Transformation is the substance of God’s creation.

The Crow Calls

crow xA Crow calls at my balcony and I’m suddenly transported into another world.

If you’re unfamiliar with Crow’s social behavior, they hang in communities that network over an entire region and beyond. It’s this “Crow Network” I find so compelling, combined with another Crow behavior – the ability to either adopt you as friend, or hold a grudge like your worst enemy.

They are considered among the smartest birds and capable enough to recognize your car. As the stories go, if you make Crow your enemy, they signal others that you are a target. By the other turn, if Crow is your friend – other Crows know not to mess with you. You have the full “Crow Endorsement.”

The Crow captured my attention and in a moment I forgot every care, rushing to leave a treat.  He reminded me of the REAL world – the natural world, always there in any moment.

The Crow Endorsement will be a Spirit Tool I can use. When I see a Crow, I’ll remember how connected we all are – in ways beyond our understanding.

9 Cimi/Transformer (Cherokee Twins Takato’ka)

Galactic Tone 9: Gaining a better perspective on the bigger picture
Cimi/Transformer: Life, Death, and Rebirth.

Cimi/Transformer9 Cimi calls us to re-evaluate how we see things – what stays, what goes, and what needs to be transformed. Anything that’s up for transformation is worth looking into again with open eyes and the willingness to see personal truth without blame or shame.

Regardless of the aspirations to live up to one’s highest calling, all humans fall short – especially when we measure our success by defined end-outcomes. “Becoming” is a process. When we can approach self awareness as something we build upon over time, making corrections is actually the evidence that we are navigating toward our goal – not evidence of failure.

The Fall Equinox represents a perfect balance with equal hours of day and night. So, the equinox also indicates a time of reflection on what was and what will be. With gratitude, look back on all you’ve accomplished, and forward to the potential of seeds of intention you’ve planted for the next harvest. Reflect on the lessons you’ve learned and how they can fully serve to become the worthy tools with which to nurture the dreams you’ve planted.

4 Crocodile/iMix (Cherokee Turtle Dak’si)

Turtle emerges as beginning of life on the Earth.

Turtle emerges as beginning of life on the Earth.

4 is the Galactic Tone of stability, bringing form and dimension as the 4 directions of the Medicine Wheel provide orientation, and height, width, length and depth bring shape to any form. It is a day to see the new creation taking form. Along the journey of life, 4 is the GPS moment that brings clarity to a new direction.

Crocodile/iMix is the very first Daykeeper sign in the 20 sign rotation, also bringing together the energy of “the One.” The Cherokee called this the day of the Turtle/Dak’si. Both signs reflect on the emergence of the family of life, bringing inspiration out of the primordial unknown. Native American tradition looks upon the Turtle as the sign of the Earth – Earth having risen from the oceans as the back of a turtle. . the source of first creation. The Mayan calendar acknowledges the 13 days as represented by the 13 sections on the back of a turtle. We are stabilizing the lightening inspiration of Flint, the divine Spark, creating new form and dimension.

CORE DAYS: Today is also the 121st day of the 260 Tzol’kin Calendar (Kin 121). The central column of the Tzol’kin as represented by the Galactic Butterfly, are the Core Days of the calendar… 20 days beginning Kin 121 through 140. Core days are a time for introspection and germination of the seeds of our intention, and a chrysalis that contains the essence of being. We enter as a caterpillar enters a cocoon to emerge as something new.

4 iMix/Dak’si is the place we stabilize into the great unknown that will show us who we are becoming.
