MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Greetings Kin,
Galactic Tone 13 brings to a conclusion our Ascension to the next Higher level of Consciousness. Deer/MANIK, the Day Sign of the Mayan Priest, extends the Hand of God to connect the Above and the Below. Deer is also the bringer of Spiritual Tools. However we may feel limited, we are gifted with the Tool to Overcome.
There is a special Correspondence between Tone 13 and the Deer. The number 13 is recognized as a number of the Ascended Masters, the Supernatural, and the operation of Theurgy. Theurgy relates to our ability to invoke, through Ritual and Sacred Ceremony, Divine Agency in Earthly Human affairs. As the Priest, Deer/MANIK extends Blessings, makes the Sacred Offerings, and Dedicates itself to the Practice of Sacred Ceremony. Under two Energies of such High Vibration, we could experience ourselves as Invincible.
The Ascended Masters were those that served Mankind within the physical realm, and continue to be of service from Above. Jesus, Confucius, Buddha, Mary the Mother of Jesus, Archangel Michael, Kwan Yin, and Saint Germain are among the Masters who manifested an Ascended State of Being.
Deer’s greatest Spiritual Tool is the Vigilance of Attention. We are empowered to evoke Divine Intervention through an Act of Disciplined Correspondence. Through Silence and Attention, we are able to experience our Unity with the Supernatural Forces of Every Thing. We never have to wait for the Ancient Ones to appear. They are always Present in the moment We show up. As we Ascend to a Higher Consciousness we can experience a greater Sense of their Presence.
This is a Day to Acknowledge our Transformation. The growth we’ve accomplished opens Higher Horizons ahead. As Humans, we were given the ability to reach an Ascended State of Being. Deer/MANIK asks us to acknowledge that we were also created as the tools in God’s own Hand. The Highest Aspiration of the Creator is the fulfillment of our Spiritual Evolution. When we are aligned with this Divine Purpose, we are in Unity with the Supernatural Forces of a Divine Agency.
We are about to begin the final trecena of Tzolk’in that completes a 260-day cycle of Spiritual Transformation. As we look to our final climb this is the time to ask, “Who Am I?” “Who Am I Becoming?” and “Who Could I Be?” We can look in the mirror to See Our Selves.
We can know the Truth that the Highest Aspiration we can reach for is the Transformation of Our Selves. Our Powers of Creation were given for the Purpose of the Great, “I Am.”
To all my relations, may we acknowledge every Blessing of our newest Transformation with Humility and Gratitude. May we Claim the Grace and Service we are Offered and Honor the Ancient Ones that extend the Unconditional Love of The Creator.
in lak’ech, i am another you

THE TRECENA OF EARTH/CABAN
13 Deer/MANIK (Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi)
Galactic Tone 13: Ascension; Thirteen assists us to go to the next higher step, propels us to try something new or to try again. Thirteen energy takes us over the next mountain just to see what is there. Thirteen carries the last success to the newest effort. Thirteen is a number associated with the Ascended Masters, creation, expansion, and manifestation.
Deer/MANIK (Hand): Deer are spirit tools. Silence itself is a spiritual experience for Deer. For Deer life is a pilgrimage. Deer are dominant persons who defend the people and will make sacrifices for others. The spirit of Deer upholds the pillars of the four directions. With the power inherent in the number four, Deer pushes away bad influences or negative energies. Skill and quality of work are very important to Deer. They are presented with tools for every task in life and it is with these that they are able to rise above limitations. Deer has a habit of keeping every tool it has ever used. This leads to clutter and indecision, loss and procrastination. When confronted with promises not kept, Deer becomes stubborn, manipulative and evasive.
Cherokee, Deer/Ahwu’sdi: Symbolized by Constellation Galagina, the Stag, known as Taurus, the Bull. It does not include the Pleiades and Hyades clusters which in Cherokee are viewed as separate. To feed, gatherers of food and supplies, they enjoy rituals, ceremonials, feasts, the souls of hospitality, sociability. Freedom versus security issues often inspire leadership and unique solutions. Combined with artistic and inspiring energies in harmony with lunar cycles, they nourish the clans. Totem-Deer: A priest or shaman, a powerful person in general, to overwhelm an individual with one’s personal power, divination; inclined to become a teacher, healer, guru, civic leader, or politician. Ability to create harmonic resonance.
