MAYAN CALENDAR DAYKEEPER’S JOURNAL
Greetings Kin,
7 Storm/CAUAC is a powerful KIN of Spirit. Storm is the ethereal display of unbridled energy. The Storm’s lightning is not bound to any form or pattern of movement across the sky.
The number 7 is associated with Faith and Acceptance of a Spiritual Awakening. 7 is associated with mysticism, intuition and psychic abilities. The Cherokee Redbird holds correspondent meaning as a totem that activates “lightning in the blood” or “sixth sense.” All Signs point to a Peak Experience of Spirit.
The Reed/BEN trecena offers a Way of Manifesting Harmony in our Relationships. Tone 7 brings the Intention of Reflection. What’s been on your mind? Was there an inner challenge? What insight did you gain from an experience that would alter your mindset? There’s a wealth of information still lying beneath the surface. 7 Storm/CAUAC presents us at the top of the pyramid where a Panoramic Vision can suddenly come into view.
Our Transformation of Consciousness is accomplished through perpetual cycles of small changes. Like watching a child grow, only at major milestones are we able to comprehend the changes happening every day.
Moving through 13-day cycles of Evolution, at Tone 7 we’ve completed the growth phase, navigating the energy of an upward climb. Today is a milestone as a Time and Place for Consciousness at the Peak Day of our Personal Accomplishment. A Divine Agency awaits to help carry us the rest of the way.
Storm/CAUAC offers the Comfort of Home as our Sanctuary for Retreat from the storms that rage in the outer world. CAUAC brings the gifts of nitrogen and rain as a Blessing of Spirit that would Speak to our Hearts. We are in a safe place and free from all restrictions to comprehend something in a new way.
To all my relations, may we remember that we hold the unbridled potential of Becoming. Like the gathering of a storm, may our first instinct be to turn for Home. And, may we be drawn to our own threshold moment when Our Spark sets off a chain reaction of Love and Light.
in lak’ech, i am another you

7 Storm/CAUAC (Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA)
Galactic Tone 7: Reflective. Seven stands as a mirror to divide light and dark and to reflect all that is and is not. Seven is associated with the source of creation and the flow of Divine Will. With a keen sense of ethics, Seven establishes purpose to current and future goals.
Storm/Cauac: Day of the blessing of rain, giver of all life and lightening, a gift of nitrogen to Mother Earth and ozone to Father Sky. Cauac is also associated with the moon and the cycles of the moon, which are the meter of the feminine aspect of creation. The essence of Storm is the feeling of unity, security and warmth experienced in the home while the tempest of trouble rages in the world outside. Perpetually youthful, Storms exist to experience the ecstasy of freedom. They have the great capacity to both learn and teach. Their constant quest for novel experiences often leads to difficult tests and storms of emotion. Looking at these difficulties for the lessons they indeed are, will enrich our lives rather than destroy. Cauac individuals teach much through their electricity of being. Lightning energizes earth, this same energy energizes humans. Divine connections can be accessed.
Cherokee, Redbird/TOTSU’HWA: Redbird’s symbol is Alcyone of the Pleiades Star in constellation Taurus. Alcyone is the Central Sun of the Universe, heart of heaven. Lightning is the visible evidence of the presence of Redbird Spirit in the Sky, daughter of the Sun Spirit, sign of Fire, Sun’s alter ego on Earth. Redbird is a feminine sign; the hand that rocks the cradle. The symbol of nurturing, the lightning nurtures and energizes, with energy for zest, curiosity, imagination, and ideas. Lightning adds spiritual force to the human by way of “lightning of the blood” of a healer, directly body to body vibration. The key to spiritual communication and access to the wisdom of the Ancestors lies in the ability to bestir the blood to speak. Sacred stones such as flint, obsidian, crystal are created by lightning striking the ground. (Cauac is a source energy of Flint/ETZNAB.)
How is your Spiritual path today?
I love to hear from you. Share your thoughts on the day, your Day Sign, or just say Hi!
isn’t it amazing, this Journey. yesterday a lapa landed in the tree above me and ‘visited’ with me for at least 15 minutes, be still my heart! the remainder of the day was a multi collaboration among our children as we conspired to bring us ‘home’…everyone was excited and ‘on it’, dancing and celebrating. Home, where the heart is. This is a good storm, with a little bit of lightening dancing around. ;)en lak’eche aloha espavo

I looked up lapa on wiki since I never heard of this creature before. Adorable. I too have felt a strong connection to creatures of nature around me as we all experience the darkness of winter together. Almost to the solstice – today, sunrise 7:55 am/sunset 4:18:pm. I think of times past when the sky was a primary focus – and this waiting on the light to return. blessings, in lak’ech, Debra
