Greetings Kin,

Tone 12 of Understanding raises our Higher Consciousness through the Voice of Spirit that speaks to us in our dreams. Tone 12 offers the power of retrospection. As we look back on the experiences of this trecena, something is brought into focus as the pieces come together.

The Road/EB trecena has helped us to see that our Destiny is Commanded in the moments that we hold the Consciousness of Living. The Moment is the Time and Place where we can choose to Create Love.

Night/AKBAL is a Blue Day Sign of the West. West is the direction of our Earthly walk into our own Darkness of the Unknown. Blue represents the Element of Water, holding the power to connect through our feelings and emotions.

Night/AKBAL reminds us that even in the darkness we are given a Source of Light. The Cherokee Day Sign, the Hearth, represents the Sacred Fires that burn through the night, the place where the Old Ones are always present to offer a guiding light. The ceremonial fire is a Living Sacrament and the place one we can always go to make an offering, receive a purification, and share the companionship of the elders.

It’s our Human Nature to approach our destiny as a destination that’s too far down the road for us to see. Night/AKBAL reveals that our destiny lies within the experiences of every moment. The joy we were created to know wasn’t meant for tomorrow, but for right now. As Living in the Moment becomes our Pattern of Movement, a natural course will lead us to our Highest State of Being.

AKBAL gives us the courage to face our own darkness. We often shoulder the burden of fear without even knowing it. Our thoughts can drift to fear of our future or failures of the past. As AKBAL dispels our fears, we realize the unnecessary burden we carried.  We can Know a Light is always shining in the moment.

To all my relations, may we recognize the Power of our Emotions and Honor these Feelings as a Communication of Spirit. The feelings we share in Spirit can say far more than we could express by mere words.  The crystal clear Voice of Spirit will be a communication that will Speak through our feelings, Directly to our Heart.

12 Night/AKBAL (Cherokee, Hearth/O’YA)

Galactic Tone 12: Understanding. This number’s energy is a gift of great capability of retrospection. It is this ability that allows Twelve to connect disassociated parts into a (new) functioning whole. The energy of Twelve is that which presents a new piece of understood information or accumulated experience to be applied.

Night/Akbal: Bringers of the Dawn. Dreamers who bring the new sun to clarify and illuminate the road of life. Thus the insecurities and doubts born of darkness of the sub-conscious mind are dispelled. These persons travel the Void… a place where nothing yet exists but all potential dwells, the womb of creation. From this void, Night persons bring forth new solutions and artistic inspiration. Night’s voyages of dreams build confidence and happiness with a sense of well being. If night does not bravely journey into the void they may find themselves wandering the darkness of self doubt and insecurity.

Cherokee, Hearth/O’YA: Hearth’s symbol is the fire pit in the Center, velvet black as the night. The triangle in Orion. The M42 nebula (home of the Central race from the WingMakers) in the center of the triangle of Orion is the fire in the Hearth, also matching the Mayan. The Hearth is the Torchbearer who holds the light and warmth throughout the night. Belief is so strong that the surrounding elements become entrained to their rhythm and all resistance falls away. With respect and honor of intuition combined with knowledge this energy creates the magic of the center in this dimension.
